The Aproca Hard Carry Travel Case, which houses the COOAU 17, has exceeded my expectations. Perfectly suitable for a 9" portable DVD player I was ecstatic to find it because the COOAU travel case was unavailable in the United States. The hardness of the case is just right for protecting the DVD player without being too heavy. It turned out to be a fantastic investment.
The case is well-made and fits the player perfectly. It will be less difficult to store and transport. It had a strong unpleasant smell when I first opened it when I got it. I'm guessing it's the plastic, so I've been allowing it to breathe. It has made a difference for some people, and I believe it will continue to do so. I work with plastic every day, so I'm used to it having an odor, but this was much stronger. I like the case in general.

This is a great case for any large DVD player, regardless of brand. It was the perfect match for my Wonnie DVD player. It has a large zipper pocket that can hold all of the player's accessories, as well as a DVD.
When we first opened the case, it smelled awful, like chemicals used to spray it for bugs prior to shipping; we let it air out for a day and it's fine now.
I purchased a larger portable DVD player for my wife - We'd need a case after that. The larger ones are difficult to come by in a solid format - and was overjoyed to find this one, and even more so when it arrived - WELL PACKED and EXACTLY AS DESCRIBED, WITH EXCELLENT PROTECTION - I am overjoyed.
My DR looks great in the new case. J 17. Portable DVD player with 9" screen that is region free. It's perfect.
