I like the player a lot
4/5

Not bad at all. So far, 4K players do not seem to be perfected. 4k gaming computer you read about has a problem with freezing. It stops the player from working or has brief freezing while playing the game. (Even with the best HDMI cable that supports 4k). During my tenure with Sony, I had a more expensive model that constantly did it. The device did not allow me to watch a single movie. Having returned it, and having noticed that every player has this problem, I searched for a decent review and a reasonable price. I found this item and Adding to this, as well my TV and soundbar are LG products, it just seemed right. There are some basic features in this The box must be hardwired into your network for streaming Netflix, Hulu, etc. But guess what? It's wireless! Worked really well, or worked very It's a lot better than the Sony I used before. K have only experienced one brief hiccup with 4K, and it was very short. There is nothing to complain about in terms of picture quality. I would rate it highly. You can also use your LG Smart TV remote with it. If this is your first 4K player, I highly recommend it. You should wait until firmware and players are improved until you can enjoy all the bells and whistles of a high-end player. Don't waste your time and money on anything else. It may vary from person to person. There are times when certain movies may cause issues, so if you experience any issues, be sure to try more than one player.

Just a Blu-ray player that delivers A great Blu-ray player that performs well, functions well, and feels great. I worked my way through a Samsung and a Sony I have a couple of Sony Blu-ray players It would be nice to see players of the Blu-ray format The LG has been good thus far I plan on keeping it. It is not possible to use Netflix, Prime, Roku, etc. The picture and sound quality are excellent, and the movies run very smoothly An audio recording. This Blu-ray seems to be of high quality An excellent blu-ray player that excels in one area. It is fast to load, very good to fast forward, and it has very good sound quality There are no problems with pause operations when playing Blu-ray Radiations. Rays. It only serves this purpose (and I use it for only that).
I have a Samsung 4K smart TV, an LG Ultra HD Blu-ray player, and a Samsung Blu-ray player When the ray was interacting with a smart TV, it kept waking up and turning off Trouble usually results from port changes. Added two new Sony Blu-ray players to my collection It was not a good day for x-rays. LG is great. I am pleased with it.

The image quality is excellent! Upon initial viewing, I discovered this player to have THE most impressive image quality I have seen in 4K, but that may not mean In a few years, we will be able to see 8K

There are also two other models I've used the Philips BDP7501 and the Analog Devices DBP7701. The SANYO FWBP807 is based on the BDP5502 or the BDP5502. The LG UP870 has a fascinating upscaling engine that can smooth out grainy pictures and increase detail without being overpowering. This is how a high-quality DVD becomes a Bluray and Blurays look as close to 4K as possible!
This player produces 4K images that seem to me to be PHENOMENAL, the sharpest I have ever seen on a television. I am mesmerized! In this mode, 4K HDR discs are played automatically. If the disk doesn't ask you to select SDR, then this is the mode you are in. don't like some HDR discs because, in my opinion, the image quality was too extreme. You can adjust the image quality during playback to your liking on this player. It is usual for me to brighten up the picture and a bit reduce the image's color. I don't believe that this player supports Dolby Vision at this time, however, I have a disc that supports it and it looks fabulous It is capable of reading MP3 CDs and DVDs from my LG player The DVDs contain classic radio programs that you can jump to at any time by entering the number of the track. Also of note to me is the ability to play DVDs in the Region 0 (ALL) PAL video format. video quality of the UP870 is excellent. It has an excellent PAL to NTSC converter. The Multiregion version of this player is available here at Amazon for around $200 at the time of this review I am using a Multiregion PANASONIC DMP BDT270 for downloading from other regions. The budget player of the year. Despite its low size, the remote control is highly precise and easy to use. Using one AAA battery is all that is required. It is impressive that the front buttons are designed to fit the functions they represent in the same style as It would be nice if they were LED. There is one front-panel LED that I can live without - the LED showing BRIGHT RED status! I have to use it at night because it keeps glaring at me when I don't. This is ominous. *This is what I saw when I plugged in this player for the first time, and I assumed that it was on. I press the power button after a while, and the Red light goes out, but the Green light remains. It's too bright at night when the screen is blank during disc ejection, which I do not like. There is an Angle Icon on the screen that I don't like. Whenever I'm watching my Star Trek Classic TV series Blurays, which I find myself watching often, the advertisement appears.
An annoying feeling. With this player, I have to use the center hole carefully because the disc tray isn't exactly finger friendly. I like handling discs by the edges, but with this player I have to use the edge. An indentation is visible on the right front, but it's difficult for me to wear. My PHILIPS 4K TV is in good relations with my LG UP870 even though it refers to the LG as just 'Player 2. ' In any case, the player is never noticeable loud at all, and it is very quiet all the time. It is my belief that this is the best 4K player between $100 and $200. However, it is not designed for streaming over the Internet, and I am just fine with that. If there is a choice, I would much rather have more time and effort devoted to overall product functionality. I just purchased a 4K Blu-ray player, not an Internet hub, and that is what I am after. **I am VERY SATISFIED with the player! It is engaging to use, and it is easy for me to play. *I printed out the Owner's Manual on this device and it has 56 pages! **Please note that the model reviewed here is.

The best player out there without streaming apps (no bloat)
5/5

A 3-D OLED TV with an LG 4K model and a 7-inch LG monitor are both in my home. Receiver with two channels of audio and video. A player routes its audio through a receiver to a television. There are four Blu-rays in my collection There are 7 4K Blu-rays, one 3D Blu-ray and one UHD Blu-ray The non-ray products are in tones Ultra HD 4K Blu-ray The Blu-ray / DVD format. Those who worked all made a living. The quality of the video is as follows Upon detecting 3D or 4K on a TV, it immediately turns on. The video output is set to 4K. I am unable to view the video on my A/V receiver This is through. It is the first time I have tried blu-ray 4K They are outstanding in terms of display and ray. My next step was to take a blue-ray In the example below, the player upconverting the rays in comparison with no upconversion. The conversion is being done by the TV in cases where there is no upconversion. The TV up conversion was slightly better for scenes with fast movements in terms of buffer/jitter, but that is to be This player took on a significant amount of up conversion. This audio is for information only. The software that I use is In the case of audio PCM, I determined that it was lossless (some players send PCM but in a loose manner) and found my A/V receiver happily using the correct Codec. Quality It's impressive. If you look at the user interface it's even better. A SIMPLE AND PLEASING ENTRY. I say hoorah. Neither of those streaming apps, nor any of the other You can easily access your movies, photos, music, and settings via the main menu. The third point A USB device can be attached to this (the player has a USB port at the front) or a MHL device (I have no A list of settings is available in this section The box is equipped with a network connection, but will be used only for firmware upgrades for BD Live content. I don't have a wireless connection.
Construction consists of With a metal body and no big LED lights on the front, this is a very quiet vehicle. There is another benefit as well Remote includes a battery (which is very uncommon these days). The power cord is long. The negatives are It does not support video/music servers over the network, and it has a very small remote. To control this player, I was able to use my LG TV magic remote control.
