Those with children, in particular. I've tried at least five different brands of portable DVD players, and this one is by far my favorite, thanks to its flippable screen, which makes it more compact and portable. Long car rides with the kids are made a little easier with the included carrier, which easily latches on to car seats. The slim controller is easy to store and features a large number of buttons. The high-definition display is superb. My only criticism is that it does not include a USB charger, which would make it more compatible with newer cars; however, the ability to use this DVD player without plugging it into a power outlet makes it worthwhile, and I highly recommend the HD Junkuntor portable DVD player. I had a Craig portable DVD player for a long time. It came with a seven-year warranty. For watching DVDs on a plane, it had a 12-inch screen and was light enough to carry in a carryon. After eight years, it finally broke! And I decided to give this one a try, as it received a ten out of ten. A one-inch display. It's well-made, and it works right out of the box (with no need for me to charge the battery). br>br>As other reviews have noted, it includes nearly every cable you'll need, including one for playing DVDs on a big screen TV. It's made so that you can play DVDs for your kids while keeping the buttons out of their reach. (The bottom of the chair swivels) Another reviewer thought that making destop presentations was beneficial. In fact, you can use a flash drive (which is not included but is incredibly inexpensive) to play a. avi file you made with your camera or on your computer br>br>I liked that it came with a cloth "case" in which I could carry it (or attach it to the back of a car seat). (I don't have any children, so this is irrelevant to me. ) br>br>For a unit of this size, the price is reasonable. br>br>However, there are two points to be aware of: br>br>1)The apparatus is quite large. It is a DVD/CD player and weighs about 3 pounds (twice as much as my previous one). br>br>2) It is a DVD/CD player. It is not capable of playing Bluray discs. You won't be able to play Disney Blurays on this unit if you have a collection of them for your kids or if you play Blurays at home (on a Bluray player). (As far as I understand it, manufacturers must pay a licensing fee in order to produce Bluray players. ) I looked on Amazon and found a couple of portable Blu-ray players, but they were all over $200. br>br>So if you understand the weight issue and – more importantly – the fact that it can only play DVDs and Music CDs, this will suit your needs nicely. br>There is a 30-day return policy offered by the manufacturer. br>I hope you found this review to be both educational and useful. This was originally purchased to keep the kids occupied on long car rides. I bought it because it had a 5-hour battery life, which should be sufficient for our needs, and we can recharge it using the included wall charger on the way back. When I open it up, I see that it also comes with a car charger! That's great, because my previous one didn't have it. So this isn't going to die in the middle of the game. The children will be disappointed as a result of your trip. It also comes with some A/V cables, allowing you to use it as a home DVD player on a big screen in between car trips, making it useful all the time, not just on road trips. Plus, the screen can swivel in the opposite direction, so if you have any fidgety kids who like to keep pushing the button to open the DVD compartment, you can turn it away from them. It also comes with a remote control, allowing you to easily control it. This was an excellent buy! And don't worry, it's in full color; I was only watching a black-and-white film. Groucho Marx is unquestionably one of the greatest of all time.

I needed something to watch movies during my work breaks, and this was ideal; I'm not the most tech-savvy person, but I found it to be extremely simple to use. Plug it in, insert your DVD, and you're ready to go. It's light, which is a plus in my opinion. The battery lasts a long time, and the remote is flawless. The company also appears to have a good reputation. Don't hesitate to buy.
