Questions & Answers

Is it capable of playing Blu-ray discs?

The answer is no, because Blue Ray is made up of a variety of electrical, electronic, and software components for both its dish and player. For example, the optical drive, which has a special dish, pixels, and software. These are a step forward from DVDs. Other, usually more expensive, but portable Blue Ray players may not be able to play in other regions, countries, or B Ray dishes. As a DVD player, the DBPower can play any location, dish, region, or have the best stability in shock, corruption, connection, and so on.

What is the maximum size of a flash drive I require?

The Max. The SD/SDHC card that this player accepts has a 32GB capacity.

What's compatible with a longer car charger cord?

You'll need to find a car charger that works with our cord.

Will this player be able to play music CDs or audio books?

Yes, it can play standard CD audio. A music CD and an audio book CD are, for the most part, the same thing.

Travel companion extraordinaire
5/5

I had a portable DVD player that I gave away a couple of years ago. I assumed it was a dinosaur, and I would almost certainly never use it. I couldn't have been more off the mark. DVD players are no longer included with devices, and you may not always be able to stream what you want or need. This unit is ideal for taking on the road. In fact, with a 5-hour rechargeable battery capacity, our 4-and-a-half-hour flight to Aruba will seem much shorter. Despite the fact that I have Amazon Prime, I ordered this DVD player on Easter Sunday and received it the next day! Anyway, the bottom line is that this device performs admirably and will make an excellent travel companion!.

On a 40-hour road trip, I bought this product and put it to the test with my toddler
3/5

You're buying this product because of the price and the reviews, but don't expect miracles when it arrives. My 2-year-old daughter and I took a long road trip. We bought this product when we were a year old and decided to put it to the test on our trip. We drove for a total of 40 hours and found the unit to be a good portable DVD player, but it also had some serious flaws. br>br>This DVD player is small, light, and comes with a number of useful extras. Although the LCD screen is clear, it is not always crisp. The internal speakers are adequate, but sound levels varied between movies and were too quiet in some cases—a simple fix that can be accomplished with a portable speaker or headphones. The unit isn't the quickest at loading media, but we're dealing with somewhat outdated technology that takes longer to load. The swivel screen allows users to watch movies on a horizontal or vertical surface, such as a desktop or in a vehicle with a headrest mount (which is not included). br>br>The DVD player is reasonably priced, but it has a number of serious design flaws. With a plethora of gray buttons with white symbols, the included remote can be difficult to understand. This makes it impossible to see unless it's in direct light, making using the unit in the car late at night a nightmare. When watching the unit in a car with a headrest mount, the remote is also completely useless. Because the remote's sensor is located on the top of the DVD player for use on a horizontal surface, it cannot be used in a vehicle unless the remote is pointed directly above the unit. br>br>The unit has volume, media, and playback controls on the buttons. When watching the unit on a horizontal surface, the buttons are smashed and the DVD player stops working, but if you swivel the screen to place it in the headrest mount, the buttons are smashed and the DVD player stops working. We usually had to take the unit out of the mount, fix the playback, and gently place it back into the mount several times before it would work. This design flaw also caused the unit to behave erratically when driving over large bumps, cutting our movies short. br>br>I was excited that the unit could play digital media and that I could watch some of our digital library on it, but the formats that it could play were outdated. The unit doesn't support MPEG4 playback unless it's at a very low quality—despite several attempts to convert the media to various formats, I was never able to get an MPEG4 to work. The unit will still playback sound when the AV is output to a television or other AV inputs. br>br> I used the included AV cables to connect the unit to the hotel room television, but I was unable to turn off the unit's sound. It was a minor annoyance, but it wasn't a deal breaker. breakerbr>br>Overall, the DVD player is reasonable for the price, but you won't be watching it on a plasma TV with high-definition surround sound. It has a lot of flaws, but it managed to keep my 2-year-old daughter entertained. When the trip went well, it made a year old happy. PROS: br>br> br>• Add-ons: including power cord, vehicle power cord, remote, AV cord, video game controller (not tested, appears to be cheap), and remote control (completely useless)br>• USB portbr>• AV output and inputbr>• Lightweightbr>• Fairly compactbr>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br> br>• The remote is uselessbr>• The remote doesn't work in vehicle modebr>• The unit presses its own buttons in vehicle modebr>• You'll need Indiana Jones skills to get the unit to play while mounting it in a vehicle headrestbr>• The unit continues to produce sound when outputting AVbr>• You'll need Indiana Jones skills to get the unit to play while outputting AVbr>• You'll need Indiana Jones skills to get the.

What you pay for is exactly what you get
4/5

There's also a fun surprise! This is a fantastic gadget. It works fine with DVDs and feels a little flimsy and light, but the device's low cost outweighs that for me. I wanted a portable DVD player so that I could watch old anime DVDs during my lunch breaks at work and while doing chores around the house. Great on- the- go player for a reasonable price, but the part about it coming with a gaming controller is what got me hooked. It's a simple design that's a little difficult to use, and the buttons aren't very sensitive, so I have to press harder than I would with a Playstation controller. It piqued my interest, and if you go to the manufacturer's page under Support, you can read more about it. You can download a zip file containing manuals for classic NES games to put on a thumb drive and play in a DVD player. Free downloads of over 150 NES games! Although this DVD player does not appear to be particularly fancy or operate as smoothly as a knife through butter, it does the job. It can play DVDs, has AV ports, accepts USB and SD cards, and comes with over 150 NES games for free. It's the ideal way to pass the time when you're bored.

A fantastic athlete
5/5

This DVD player has provided me with a lot of enjoyment. For a trip to Florida, I bought it for my 3-year-old son. Other reviews stated that the plastic appeared to be cheap, and I agree when I first received it. That is not the case, despite the fact that my daughter is extremely rough with her belongings, and it has proven to be extremely durable. It's no longer relevant. It's been kicked and the dog has walked on it, but you can't tell because it's still running fine. In addition, the battery life has been outstanding. So far, we've watched two movies in a row with no issues with battery life, and the seller has been excellent. Despite the fact that I had no reason to contact them, they contacted me to ensure my satisfaction. In addition, the player arrived sooner than anticipated. This player and seller come highly recommended by me.

Update**
5/5

These are the two that I bought. I've only tested it to see if it works, but the image is clear, the sound is louder than I expected, and it's simple to operate. When I saw them, my daughters were overjoyed. I'm going on a road trip with them, so I'll see how long they last. The remote connected right away after it was charged. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> Both of the DVD players are in excellent condition. My daughters were watching movies, and the battery lasted. Also, customer service is excellent; I received free headrest mounts after completing a quick survey while registering my devices. As a result, the cost and quality are unbeatable.

highly recommend   This portable DVD player is excellent; initially, I purchased an external DVD driver, but it did not work with my computer
5/5

Then I came across this one, which I decided to purchase. The screen size is ideal; it is large enough to comfortably watch a movie while also being portable. You can adjust the sound volume or use an earbud if you prefer. Although the device will make a small amount of noise when it is in use, this is normal and tolerable. I can borrow DVDs or CDs from the library and watch or listen to them now that I have a Portable DVD Player.

This is an excellent product
5/5

So far, everything has gone well. We bought two of these for our kids to watch movies on our upcoming two-state road trip. They were so ecstatic that they immediately opened them and put them to use. The image and sound quality are both excellent. There was no skip when I tried shaking while watching the DVD. We are content because the children are content. I've included a photo and video with diagonal lines caused by the camera, which are not visible on the actual screen. After a few months of use, I'll update my review.
