EVP from Tojock Blu-ray/DVD/USB Player No
5/5

101. I just got the player, so I can't speak to its long-term dependability, but I can speak to its functionality. First, the motivation for purchasing, which I'm sure some of you can relate to; I own two high-priced Blu-ray players from Sony and LG, both of which I despise. I had 15 people over for a backyard movie night over the weekend, and it took forever to get the Sony/LG players to "Play" the movies, as it had done the previous three times. The Blu Ray would take an eternity to load on the Sony/LGs, forcing 15 people to sit through numerous previews before arriving at the home "play" screen. On Sony/LG units, the play/eject button did nothing or ejected the movie. This dance would continue indefinitely until the movie began to play. With 15 people looking at you, it's a real pain! The remotes either did nothing or showed me the usual red circle with a slash through it, indicating that the operation was not permitted. So, back to the no-name, low-cost player: it booted both DVDs and Blu Rays in a matter of seconds [wow!]. [Yeah! ], the fast forward buttons allowed me to shoot through the previews [Yeah! ] and the movies were accessed via the remote control or the unit's play button [smile]. Why are the Sony/LG's having such a difficult time with this? They make you watch previews of THEIR movies? br>br>Another note: During movie intermissions, I use my USB to play old 1950s drive-in intermission video clips [MPG4], and this unit starts playing them as soon as I plug in my USB – no need for a computer or switching cables! br>br>Oh, and it is a DVD player, according to the box. I can assure you that it can also play Blu-ray discs. Today, I received an email from the seller/manufacturer informing me that they are correcting the wording on the box, but after reading the reviews, I'm not convinced. This was something I was aware of.

This is a fantastic DVD/BluRay player
5/5

Do not be fooled by the packaging. Although it claims to be a DVD player, it can also play Blu-ray discs. Rays too! I also tried a DVD from Germany, which it played without issue. It's a good picture and it's simple to use. This is a replacement for a Panasonic Blu-ray player. Ray.

It's a good value for the money, and it's a good product I just got this player yesterday and so far I'm very happy with it
5/5

While deciding which Blu-ray player to buy, I read all of the reviews. To buy a blu-ray player. I didn't want anything "extra," just a player, and this one fits the bill. It is reasonably priced and can play DVD and Blu-ray discs. ray, and it's also very easy to use. br>br>I noticed a one-star review that claimed the player didn't have closed captioning, but it does (as you can see in the video I attached), so it's more likely that the disk they were trying to play didn't have subtitles. The same reviewer thought it was difficult to set up, but all you have to do is plug the HDMI cable into the back of the unit, turn it on, and insert a disk. br>br>Another reviewer claims that the player is only an "upscaler," which is incorrect; it plays my Blu-ray discs. rays. The description even mentions that the box only says DVD, which is also mentioned in the positive reviews. br>br>I did take a picture of the player while he was away, and the red light is quite bright. Unless you have the player right next to the TV (as shown in the photo), it shouldn't be a problem. I'll put it somewhere else so that the red off light doesn't bother me when the player isn't being used. If you're looking for a DVD and Blu-ray player that's not too expensive, this is the one to go with. I would strongly advise you to read this one, Ray.

There isn't a better BluRay DVD available
5/5

I've never had a better BluRay DVD than this one. I have a Samsung BluRay DVD that costs three times as much as this one does, and this DVD is so much better in every way that I'm baffled as to how this company can sell this product and make a profit. The resolution is incredible, and because it's half the width of a standard DVD, it fits in perfectly with my other components. In contrast to standard remotes, the remote has every action imaginable. I strongly recommend this product because it is so good. I enjoy pausing and turning off the DVD player while watching a movie. When I return, I simply turn it on and press play, and it resumes where I left off. No DVD can do that, and I have four other DVD players that fall short of this one. Exceptional!.

I was so taken with the Basic Tojock player that I decided to upgrade
5/5

The basic player is on the bottom of the photo, while the upgraded Blu Ray player is on top, with the word "HI" written on it. The player was delivered much faster than expected, which was very nice; the player is simple to set up, and the controls via the remote are simple and smooth. In addition, the TV's display quality is absolutely fantastic! This is a fantastic product--br>br> The only thing it lacks, as far as I can tell, is a brand name from one of the more dominant manufacturers in the market. In addition, the price is a lot easier to deal with during these very different COVID periods.

A fantastic purchase! This Blu- A good buy is a blu-ray player
5/5

This player surprised me because I had no idea what to expect. I don't buy anything secondhand. I'm not buying name-brand electronics, but I'm getting a premium experience and I'm very pleased with it. It produces a fantastic image on the screen and is very simple to operate. I simply plugged it in and it works without a hitch; the menus are straightforward and self-explanatory. There are no bells and whistles; I didn't want WiFi or a smart player; I just wanted a basic player, and this one fits the bill.

It's a good substitute
5/5

I bought this to replace an old Sony that had finally died, and I'm very happy with how simple it was to set up, how well it fit on my shelf, and the picture quality. The layout of the remote control is the only minor quibble, but this appears to be a breed-wide issue - It was even worse on my old Sony. br>br>If I ever needed another one, I'd buy it again.

What Happens When Tom Visits the Mayor? YES! "Tom Goes to the Mayor" is even played on it! Something that is extremely uncommon in a DVD player! Okay, so TGTTM plays around 90 of the time
5/5

It stutters and skips a little here and there. Nonetheless, it plays nearly flawlessly! Finally, I'll be able to see it! There was no other option. I tried five different DVD players, including my computer, but none of them were able to play it. br>br>I strongly advise you to download this player because if it can play TGTTM, it can play anything! It also plays all of my other DVDs flawlessly!.
