I'm not sure how you'd go about just getting a remote control, unless you contact the qfx cv-100's manufacturer. The 103 digital converter box is the device itself. If they are unable to assist you, they may be able to recommend someone who can. If it's the original remote that came with the converter box, you could try returning it to the store where you purchased it. I expect this to take some time to work out. Best of luck to you.
On a similar device, I discovered that on SD channels, unless you use the LPCM (PCM) audio option, the audio and video do not match. You won't get five because there are only two channels. 1 audio. I didn't have the same issue with HD channels, but your results may vary.
A converter box (number 103), as the name implies, is a device that converts one signal The antenna SHOULD be the only connection for this unit. This is not a cable converter box, and it will not work with cable.
The 103 is nothing more than a converter box. The remote control only works with this unit; it is not a TV or universal remote. Because inverter boxes do not require a RECALL button, this remote does not include one.

I got it just now. I'm not interested in the finer points of a product. It was purchased to replace an old RCA box that was only partially functional. Except for getting a memory stick to record, I didn't read all of the details. It was simply plugged in wherever the old one had been. I fiddled with the remote control. Set the TV (or VCR, as the case may be) to channel 3 or 4. To scan for channels, press the button on the remote's top. Done! Awesome. Later, I'll finish reading it. It's very straightforward and effective. Just in case it didn't work out, I double-checked that it was shipped and "sold" by Amazon. I'm not interested in the other things that others may require. Simple channels should be cleared. However, I still use my VCR to record. br>NOTE: THIS PAGE HAS BEEN UPDATED. When a channel isn't clear, it is removed from your scanned channels, and you must re-scan. Scanning continuously throughout the day. And then wait for it to finish. In the meantime, I'm missing out on shows, which is SO ANNOYING! I decided to change my mind. That is completely absurd. This box is one of my least favorite things.
I'm really impressed with this HD OTA TV box, and I'm thinking about buying a second one just to have because I like the user interface and the options it provides, and the remote control, as others have mentioned, is well-set up and makes navigating the menus simple after a few minutes of use. The built-in viewing mode selections are also a nice feature to have, with options ranging from 480i to 1080p, as well as widescreen viewing modes for 480 resolution. With the RCA video outputs on this box, I use it in my car with my media receiver head unit screen. I've also tested the HDMI connection on my neighbor's TV, and it works fine. br>br>I particularly like the level of detail provided when scanning channels with this device; it conveniently shows you what frequencies are being scanned so you can tell if you're picking up VHF and UHF signals or just one of them. br>br>Because of its small size, it's ideal for a mobile TV setup, and after tweaking the color settings in the provided menu, it's crystal clear and vivid even when viewed on a tiny dash screen. Your friends will be impressed as well. br>br>I can tell these guys are old school minimalist programmers, which is always a plus because it's getting harder and harder to find devices with software that isn't bloated and lacking in functionality these days. This QFX device is the polar opposite, and I applaud them for releasing a product with so many options. I went to Amazon to order a USB stick for this converter's DVR and media functionality because I was excited to try out the media playback capabilities after seeing that option in the menus. I'm going to leave this review because it was on my mind. By the way, reviewmeta is a program that I highly recommend. When making Amazon purchases, remember to check out com. It's a site that can assist you in determining whether or not the reviews are genuine. That is a site that I strongly recommend.
I'm a big fan of this box. It detects 28 channels, all of which are perfectly clear. The USB port functions as expected. I save TV shows on my computer and watch them whenever I want. Remote control is also a good option.
I connected the input to an amplified indoor antenna and the output to my smart TV's antenna input. That didn't give me a stable picture, so I switched to HDMI, which gave me a marginally better result. I tried to record something, but it took some trial and error to get it to work. The issue was that the converter had the same buttons as my sound bar, so I went around in circles until I realized it was muting the sound bar. The antenna worked perfectly without the converter, and it worked perfectly again after I removed it. It's poorly thought out, and I would have returned it if I hadn't had more pressing matters to attend to, so I'm only out a few dollars.
There are HDMI and RCA Composite outputs on this device. Surprisingly, because my TV didn't have any HDMI input ports, I used the Composite Input instead, and the picture is still quite good (much better than the old Analog). The 4 Star Install rating is due to the fact that it takes a few trial and errors to figure out how to use a USB stick to record DVR footage. The timer recording setup is a pain, but this is a decent little tuner otherwise. Great for new Smart TVs without tuners, as well as where the option of "cutting the cable or satellite cords" has been used. I actually bought a second unit to use with another TV. I couldn't be more pleased!.
Unfortunately, no one ever asks me if "my" shows can be moved. When my favorite songs began to conflict, I became frustrated and began looking into recording them. I can't get it off the 24 hour clock because it reflects the correct time when you program it, but that's okay because it reflects the correct time when you program it. I purchased a 65g jump because I am not familiar with these things and wanted to ensure that I would be able to watch all of the shows over the weekend. As a divorced woman, I've picked up a lot of skills, and it was surprisingly simple to hook up despite my lack of experience. Balancing the television was the most difficult part!.
Weaker stations are picked up by its tuner.
So many of the competing units appear to have performance issues or have failed prematurely. Based on two months of actual use, this particular make and model appears to be true to the product description. It's easy to operate, with a simple remote, and the picture and sound are both clear and powerful. I have no way of knowing how long this unit will last, but it has already outlasted the durability of competing units that have received negative feedback from customers. This unit has served me well so far.
