My phone is equipped with the app. You might be able to save it on your computer, but I am not sure of the process. It would seem you might be able to use the application if you installed it on your computer. The service that came with mine ended in December. It was free when I bought it. I prefer this open face style over an older Blink XT style you mostly see that could cover some of these features. The new Blink cameras have more microphones and speakers, so this is a good choice. The camera is held firmly in place by everything fitting snugly. In my collection, I have older mounts for older Blink XT cameras that are made out of metal, and look to be of it seems that the threaded mounts of these have begun to rust, so I will not have that problem with them. But I'd prefer that the mount base be made of metal. The first time I received these, I thought they were defective since the ball mount could not be rotated. The swivel mount, however, is easy to remove and works fine after removing the locking nut and pressing it firmly towards the inside of the frame. Every time you tighten these, it happens again, but it isn't difficult to remove. It is very easy to mount the sync module using the included mount.
The mount is superb. It was easy to install, and didn't have any hardware on it, only a clip to hold it in place if you need to change batteries. Nice product. I saw these camera mounts at a very good price and purchased them to add security to my blink camera outside. It's nice to see how it has a protective casing and a slot for running a wire if necessary. This is what I have been using for a month now. In the past year, the Arlo app for my cameras had pretty much rendered them useless, so I wanted to find an alternative.
