They fit the Arlo Pro 2 perfectly by themselves, just replace the tightening wheel with a simple 1/4 inch nut if using a USB power cable. These 3-in-1 speakers can be used wirelessly out of the box or with a USB power cord. The only challenge you may face is to figure out which cord to use. There are packs that are taken- In addition, the width of the wheel is too large for it to be used with a power cord. This has nothing to do with the mounts, but is a result of the screw base being positioned so close to the power outlet It would be the same with any other 3rd party software A small tightening screw (see photo) is used in the ARLO base to remedy this. I removed the Take-Out tightening wheel and screwed the camera long enough to allow it to sit level, then I did the final adjustment with the main tightening ears, while others removed the tightening wheel, too. The Up Wheel was replaced with a 20 cent stainless steel 1/4 inch coarse thread #20 (It is not a fine thread, it is the thread of the Arlo unit). Photos of the ARLO mount - WHEEL, the tightening wheel, and the factory tightening nut - are attached as well as the photo of the thin ARLO My experience was that buying a simple nut so I could attach my USB Cable was not a problem, but that may not be the case for everyone. In these packages, it would be GREAT if there was a thin threaded tightening nut included. It is important for me to have additional security markers around the home, so I plan to buy three more.

This needs to be rated 0 stars. To use with an Arlo Pro 2 6 camera set that I purchased, I purchased 2) three packs of this stuff. I was in the middle of setting up the cameras when they arrived, so they were delivered at the perfect time. Installing the first of three of them was the first thing I did when I opened the first box. After mounting the camera onto the mount, I began tightening the nut that holds the spinning ball stud, but it spun the whole top of the mount with it. tried to guess where the spinning ball stud would stop when I tightened the nut by releasing the nut and moving the top half of the housing a little bit at a time. As soon as I got the ball tight, the camera would fall to the ground, and the spinning ball would keep spinning. I finally got the ball tight, but the spinning ball would not lock in. When I pulled out the second out of the set of three, it was the same as the first. I briefly checked the 3rd, and there were the same problems as the first 2, except that the camera kept staying at a 90 degree angle, but I could move it by fluttering my finger. In no way could I use these, or trust that they would hold my cameras in place, nor could I afford the prices they were selling at. I am in the process of returning these, since I needed them right away. I ran down the street and bought the name brand mounts, each of which performed You might get more mounts for less money if you buy three of these instead of one of the name brands. Per 3 pack, you may be able to get a good one I was unable to find one.

As with the Arlo Pro mount, the collar is independently rotated so you can loosen or tighten the metal camera mount if you need to change the position of the camera after it has been mounted on the wall. Despite the thin size of the unit, it feels substantial due to its material. In order to give it some camouflage, I painted them a brown color with plastic spray paint to match the deck material. The paint adhered very well to the plastic. When mounting this to a soft material such as drywall, the screws and wall anchors are provided. Phillips head screws, on the other hand, are made of a poor quality material and readily strip out. Simply throw away the screws and use quality ones instead. This will save you a lot of headaches.

This is a huge improvement over the standard Arlo For the three packs of Arlo cameras I have, these security mounts have worked perfectly. Compared to magnets, these are a nice step up Arlo's only mounts are included in the In spite of this, please do not be fooled by the name "security". It is possible to remove the Arlo camera from the mount by simply unscrewing the camera just like removing a (photo) camera from a tripod. Due to the fact that these mounts do not allow the arlos to be pulled away from the base, they provide slightly more security to the outdoor application. This set of mounts is cast aluminum, instead of the plastic bodies used by some other mounts. The three mounts under the eaves of my house were installed with basic screws into the soffit. Despite the absence of backing material or studs, the combined weight of a mount and an Arlo can be easily held by the three screws into the soffit. There is also one other drawback (other than the fact that it isn't a locking security mount) -- it can be difficult to locate the friction collar when tightening the adjustable directional ball friction mount. You may need to fine-tune your Arlos' angle and field of view to get the most from it, and fine adjustments are hard to make. It's also likely that you will have to redo Since you'll need to unscrew the Arlo every time you change the battery, you'll need to adjust the mount every time. All in all, this is a fantastic product that does its job well. However, it has a few limitations that we want to bring to your attention.

I would not say that these are the best options I could buy, but the cost savings over Arlo branded ones was sufficient to make it worthwhile to purchase these. The cons are Their paint has flaked off mainly due to the turning of each thumb turn. They are basically painted primer white. I found cracks in a few of the holes where the screws go into the post and into the house/wall before I received it. The crack was minor, but I could see it and it became more evident when I tightened the screw into the wall The pros are 2 * cost In the end, the verdict will be determined by how they hold up over the next few months. They appear to be holding tight, with little slop from the camera to the base.
