The reason I bought this is that I am hard of hearing (wear hearing aids) and do not always want to have to use earbuds if I want to make phone calls. I found it to be incredibly easy to use and a perfect device. It is much better to listen to broadcasts than to speaker phone calls on an iPhone. The second one I am considering is the iPhone.
