I think it will fit size-wise, but the factory screw setting and the screw holes on this particular speaker do not line up, so you'll need to drill new holes to get it to fit.
No flush is created when it is inserted in the hole. A little too far out by about 3/4 to 1 inch. Yukon XL 2002
Make sure that you put at least 10% of the rated power in the line. A 20 watt rms power supply would be sufficient for this application.
This harness was mounted on my 2000 Avalon. There was plenty of space for new screw holes on the flange.

The subwoofer is excellent.
The OEM JBL Sub woofer that came with my 2006 Toyota Avalon XLS sound system was replaced with this. In the end, there is no real replacement for that subwoofer, barring a poor subwoofer that you have to pay a fortune for. I tried to make it as close as I could to the original factory subwoofer. Due to its design, it is a free air Sub Woofer, so it will not be a loud sub in the beginning. need to create a custom bracket, but without paying big bucks to a professional, there is no way to accomplish it. Industrial E-mailed me a copy of the instructions It would be best to use a 6000 rubber glue that is very strong and is also able to absorb vibrations when mounted on the rear deck. Sound suppression tape as well gives an airtight seal and can absorb vibrations. This is a good track, but don't expect a boomer sub that blows your fillings out.
Although it was not meant to be, it was not meant to be! It was not stated in the website description of the JBL how deep the mounting is. According to my research, the OEM sub (made by Pioneer) has a really, really shallow mounting depth at only 3 inches. A quarter inch). It was impossible to fit into the OEM sub enclosure mounted on the left rear of Once again, I had to do some research because there were only a few subs that matched the mounting depth, and I chose to go with the MB Quart DS1, which has a 36" mounting depth Also available at an affordable price is the Discus 204 Shallow Mount Subwoofer. As soon as it arrives and I play it and install it, I'll write a review. Thanks for reading!.
The sound quality is great for a speaker with an 8" woofer. The engine is connected to an Alpine mono amp installed in the original small (0 cc. inside of a 2012 The 8" Rockford Fosgate system that was in there before was much more efficient. It is only the smaller diameter of JBL speakers (or at least the ones I owned) that is problematic. The diameter of a JBL speaker The cover was 25" shorter than the normal 8" and didn't completely cover the In order to make the adapter fit, I made it with 1/2" MDF.
This is awesome! I love There are a lot of songs on this EP, but don't expect a ton of thump. It's a great choice if you want a good sound without spending a lot of money.
In my experience, the sub sounds quite good for the price. It is hooked up to a JBL GTX500, which even pushes the RMS range well above the suggested level. Even though it is somewhat low, it has a lot of kick. I am very satisfied with the quality of materials used. I only have one quibble with it, and that is that it bottoms out slightly when I play bass. Music like hiphop that has a lot of energy. The rest of the time, it is a champ and just does what it's supposed to. This is the way to go if you want cheap, clean, and simple bass.
As many previous reviewers have noted, it was purchased to replace the factory subwoofer in an Explorer (for It was a hassle to remove the OEM speaker, so I created a pass through for the wiring to connect to the factory amp and mounted this guy in a sub box, but other than that, the old speaker just had to be unplugged and the new one connected. JBL is the best of its kind, and I expected nothing less.
The sub was used to replace the one in my home theater that had become faulty. . . . this one fit perfectly into the existing box without a hitch, so it looks like it was not altered in any respect. The first couple of days of using it, I was worried as it didn't seem to be working My guess is that it was just part of the 'breaking in' period. Since the original speaker doesn't sound as good anymore, this one sounds so much better. There is no waffling or distortion among the lows, and the bass is solid. As a result, I am very happy.
