It doesn't have a huge fault, but it does have one major flaw that makes all the other positive features of the JBL Charge 4 There is just one speaker here. The device has just one speaker built in, so besides the two bass woofers on the sides, there are no other speakers. Even if it were in the center, it would still be far from the Invest in the Charge 3 and you will be glad you did. In its place are stereo speakers, not these flimsy mono ones.
In spite of the fact that the JBL Charge 4 is a great product, I initially found the warm sound signature to be disappointing. It matches the music well enough to not distract from it. I have found that the highs aren't 100% accurate. A warm signature is created by the presence of the highs but aren't overly strong due to their lack of strength. This device's mids are extremely clear and good for its size. The vocals sound excellent in most of the songs because of this. You can hear a slight distortion when it comes to the high notes, but other than that they are well represented. While it does dip in to the lower range, the speaker does a great job at reducing a bassy and unrealistic effect caused by the radiators by keeping the speaker at an appropriate level. Due to the presence and sound stage, when you listen to high-quality hifi tracks, you may feel as though you are in the presence of the singer. In regards to the mono speaker, don't listen to the critics of this implementation, many of whom either aren't familiar with what they're talking about or they are simply picking at it because they do not like the idea. It is impossible to get stereo by placing 2 speakers 3 inches apart like the last model. And for those looking for separation, this mono speaker sounds just as good as the last model, if not better. In terms of volume output, it gets plenty loud for most people, and it carries its dynamics all the way up to just under maximum It stands out in comparison to other speakers such as the charge 3, xb30, xb31, xb20, extreme, and Onyx. As for the highs, I found that while they are lacking in certain songs, they certainly make up for it in other areas. I like how the bass is in Charge It is able to reproduce the bass notes accurately and is able to reach lower frequencies most portable speakers of this size cannot Nevertheless, it should be noted that there is still no subscription. Despite this speaker's best efforts, very low frequencies are hard to hear. As the radiators begin to shake, instead of making music (what doesn't sound good), it sounds like the radiators are shaking. This speaker has a poor battery life and I found I could only get 9 hours on 60 percent volume, which is still acceptable but a big deviate from its advertised 20 hours. After using this speaker for awhile and comparing it to other units, I have actually grown fond of it. It is unfair to take any criticisms in this review too seriously since I don't think most people are as critical as I am when it comes to audio, but I would give this one four out of five stars. There would be no doubt a need for a tweeter and perhaps a larger battery in future.
It has been a disappointing experience and I've settled for my UE Megablast which should be equally as good.
The The audio output is mono, directional, there is no user-selectable EQ, and Bluetooth lag is present. It was ultimately a stereo speaker with speakers on many sides and an EQ with user settings that I found to be the perfect fit. YouTube videos were also easier to watch with it. A lag will be evident in this speaker, but some other models don't have a lag. I don't want to imply that the speaker didn't sound good and got good bass, but I saw no reason to recommend it because of the reasons I outlined The price point is where I believe there are more appealing options.
For a little speaker to pump out that much sound, it's almost absurd. I own a JBL Charge 4, which is the strongest portable speaker I have ever used. I would say the bass is solid, it doesn't rock the house, but it's definitely an impressive speaker for a portable one. Even so, it's possible to improve the highs a bit, but I don't care much since it will be mainly used outside and in the garage as we have dedicated speakers inside. fact that the device can charge and play music from an external device is a great feature too, as is the apparently long battery life (I have yet to run out of juice). It is also wise to consider a solid carrying case for the Charge 4. This case holds the Charge 4 speaker as well as the charging cables, it is well made, has a solid exterior, is cheap, and is definitely a must have to transport and store it safely.
The best portable speaker out there!.
However, JBL has lowered the sound quality on the charger 4 with only a single speaker providing a sadly mono sound unlike the charger 3, which has two speakers. On top of that, it does not even come with a wall charger. . . I hope they improve on it for.
JBL's Flip 2 headset has been my primary headset for the past two years, so I felt confident in the brand. But the JBP Charge 4 is even better. The feel of the sound quality is excellent, and it feels solid and durable in the hand. Despite the great volume, it is not too loud. With my bike, I run it at about 4 out of 10 and it is a blast. I wouldn't recommend this speaker for those looking for a studio speaker, but if you are looking for something you can take with you on your bike, or out on a picnic, or in the woods, or around the workshop, I recommend this one. This is a fantastic speaker that is well worth the price.
This is a great piece of equipment. This is such a great Connects automatically when you walk out of range and back in range, but not when you walk between them. The battery indicator tells you your charge level only when you turn it on for the first time. If you would like to view the battery level, pause, play, or switch tracks. You can change the sound profile automatically once you exceed a certain volume level. 99% of people won't notice it. But I'm sure it does it to protect itself from being attacked. There is plenty of bass to be found. Throughout the rest of the audio range, your music app allows you to modify the volume.
It's easy to see why first impressions last. As for how long the illusion lasts, only time will tell. It requires GPS location to run the JBL app. Data mining is what they do. Rather than using the JBL app, don't use it!.
On the JBL website, I saw that the speaker comes with speakerphone support. It's really not true.
Please note that this speaker does not come with speakerphone support. On the JBL website, inaccurate information can be found. The tech support was great and answered all my questions It has been confirmed that they will remove this description from their site.
