After opening the box and turning on the radio, I was delighted by how loud and clear the local weather broadcast was. After trying other radios that lacked even the ability to receive the WB, I was pleasantly surprised. Charges well on the crank and it is solid. There is no doubt the crank and the solar are not as efficient as the USB, but I assure you they both

It was hard for me to know how good this radio would be since I could not try it before buying, but it works like a charm. After you have cranked it for a while, it can be quite an exhausting workout. Once it's ready, you can get a number of different stations that are readable. Also, the antenna on this is helpful for attempting to get to different stations. This is great for camping because you can charge it at home and it will last quite a long time on one charge. The lights are very bright and I used it while camping. There is a bright glow under the solar panel as well. Charges by solar can be a bit slow and when using this for solar charging, it is not the same as if they were charging in a home, but when they're fully charged, they do charge I know something that will come in handy if there is an emergency while camping.
In case I need it in the future, I bought this. Recent storms have caused the main power lines to go down and I am afraid the power will go out. My favorite feature about this radio is the way it can be charged in various ways. On sunny days, the solar panels on the top allow for easy charging. are traditional ways of charging, such as plugging it into a wall socket, or there is the quick and easy way of charging. In the event that the battery runs out and there is nowhere to plug in to recharge, the crank option will be handy. My favorite part of the crank is that it turns very smoothly and does not require much effort. There is an easy volume control on the radio and the signal from local stations can be easily picked up. It is possible for the radio to become quite loud when it is turned up. Having such a gadget in case of emergency or on a camping trip is very handy.
) Once upon a time, I had a great one, but then I dropped it, which broke it. There is better sound coming from the speaker on the new radio, even though it appears the same size. Therefore, the interior of the larger cabinet is probably the cause of the improved sound. You will receive interference from the battery level monitoring the first time you turn on the radio if you are using the AM mode. The reception improves once the battery level LEDs are turned off. Even though the AM reception was not as good as another pocket-size radio (Sangean), the FM reception was not as bad. I found the FM reception to be good compared to other radios I have.
It's cool that he has a radio like this! The fact that you can charge your cell phone and keep a charger with it is excellent. You even get a plug for the iPhone with it. We enjoy the sound of the radio and we like the flashlight's bright light. One of the reasons I like this radio is that it can be charged several different ways electrically, via crank, via solar power, or by replacing It also has a motion light on it that I love. I really liked the way it was made and there were lots of practical Honestly, I did not know it had so many features when I purchased it, so I was surprised by how much I could do with it.
To keep it with me in case of an emergency, I bought it. Despite its shortcomings, this radio is decent. I would expect about what you'd expect. The hand crank and solar charging capabilities are nice. It comes with a couple of flashlights and the radio is included. It seemed weak to me when I was listening to the radio. I had difficulty finding stations that are close to me when I was near it, and I lost some stations when I was close by. While it does work, we think the powerdul should be greater. The pros are The battery capacity is large*The flash light is bright*The solar panel for emergency power*The crank for emergency power is there *The cons There may be better radio receivers out there, especially for emergency or weather radios. Radios with poor reception are more difficult to tune in to than those with clear reception.
Radio reception is good on it and I'm listening to the radio on it. kind of difficult to tune in stations with an earpiece since the knob is so small, but it can be done if you take your time. There are a lot of fantastic features in the lighting function. The flashlight has three brightness settings and the reading lamp has three settings. As for the build, the body is solidly constructed so it should withstand hiking and camping well. The only issue I have is with Overall, the strap seems to be in good condition. Lightweight and stretchy, it's perfect for spring and summer. There is an obvious lack of quality in the caribiner. If you hung it on a belt bag or backpack, I don't think it would last very long. It feels like a waxy cord at the top of the strap where it attaches to the radio. It's stronger than some string, but I couldn't tell how well it will hold up
With that said, I would recommend this combo Several times already, this has come in useful since I live in an area where power outages occur frequently.
I tested all of the advertised features as soon as I got it. I am satisfied with how everything worked. As I was busy with other things, it really didn't get much attention from me. It's just good to know it's available in case a need arises. ( I noted that the battery was 75 percent charged when it arrived. Once I'd played with it for a little while, I placed it in a sunny window, with the solar panels up, and later [I'm not sure how long later], I saw that it was at 100% charge, so I know that also works.
A tough one to review, as there were some aspects (like the reading light and radio) that were right on the money. We bought it because of its solar function, but one of the primary reasons was to be able to charge a phone when needed. There is no such thing as this. You will still get a charge, but at a slower rate. This battery struggles to charge anything using this stored energy, though, and seems to discharge over night! Obviously, if you need power for a radio or flashlight, you can use the hand crank option-but you can't rely on solar power or the option to charge your.
