This small device picks up signals more clearly than any other I've used. We've tried a lot of them. My 2006 Lincoln Zephyr is a top-of-the-line vehicle (for its time), but it was built before auxiliary ports, Bluetooth, hands-free calling, and other modern conveniences became commonplace. The THX system, which includes amps and 12 speakers, is powerful, but before having this device, my teenage sons could only listen to music on the radio. I was looking for something similar to this. Instead of replacing my original stereo system, I was able to save hundreds of dollars. There were no hiccups in the reception. It arrived in a matter of days. However, the remote control that was shown in the picture was not included. It's been over a month since I ordered a second one, and it still hasn't arrived. I'm considering canceling because it's not a large package and I'm not sure how long it will take to arrive.

This is a bluetooth FM transmitter that I use to connect my phone to my car's CD/radio player. br>br>If you want to make calls or listen to audio from your bluetooth device, such as your phone, this is the best option. You will not be able to hear anything from this device if you are listening to another radio station on your stereo, a CD, or if you turn off your radio; for example, if someone calls you while you are listening to another radio station, you will not hear the call. To connect to this device, you'll need to use an FM radio, and once you've paired your phone, it'll work fine. The phone conversation had good sound quality. Even in my noisy car, the mic picked up my voice well, and I could clearly hear the other side of the line. The display allows you to check the health of your car battery, which I think is a useful feature. br>br>USB charging works as expected. br>br>The USB player also works, but it has limitations. I chose this device because I wanted to listen to various lectures using my USB flash drive. This remembers which track you were listening to, but when you restart your car, it starts over. It doesn't begin where the song ends. Because there is no way to scroll ahead, this is unusable for me when dealing with longer files such as lectures or audio books. It's fine for music, but I wish it had a random play function and the volume button and dial functions were switched around. You won't need to adjust the volume levels much after you've set them, but when using the USB key, you'll need to change the track with the dial. If these two were swapped, it would be much easier to use. br>br>From now on, I'll be using my phone for longer audio files via Bluetooth, but anyone who has tried to update files on an iPhone knows how difficult it can be.

This allows me to put music on a USB drive and listen to it while driving. It allows me to make hands-free phone calls and also provides me with a high-speed charging port for my phone! The sound quality is fantastic! br>br> There is no crackling or static when listening to a song from a USB drive instead of the radio. Plus, there are no advertisements! Installation. br>br> um. I plugged it into my cigarette lighter, set my radio to the transmitter's frequency, plugged my flash drive into the music USB port, plugged my phone into the power USB port, and connected my phone to the FM transmitter via Bluetooth. That is all there is to it. It took me about 3 minutes to complete everything. br>br>I can't get enough of this. 5 Stars!.

For those who do not have bluetooth capability built into their vehicle, this bluetooth transmitter is ideal. It's simple to choose an FM band to send to your car radio, and it's also simple to pair your phone with it. When I'm driving, I use this to listen to any audio from my phone. Play Spotify, look up directions on a map, and keep your hands on the steering wheel. You name it, you'll get it for free. Because the transmitter is powerful enough to overcome weak FM signals, you won't need to change bands unless you're traveling through an area where an FM station is strong. There are no bluetooth drops, though the phone will almost always be within about 4 feet of the transmitter. It also includes USB charging ports, allowing you to charge your phone while using the transmitter. a word of caution br>br> Make sure you unplug this from your car power port when you turn it off, or at the very least, make sure your car power port isn't always active, because some cars allow devices to draw power from the car power port, which can drain your battery.

It's not flexible, so if you have an old school cigarette lighter and want to connect it to a 2 shaft radio or something similar, the straight forward design might not be the best for you. All of the controls are simple to use.
