The Vupoint Solutions Magic Wand Portable Scanner with Dock is perfectly suited for the Hermitshell Hard Travel Case! br>If we use a Vupoint Scanner to measure the internal dimensions of the Hermitshell Hard Travel case (length 337, width 82, depth 58 mm), we will get the internal dimensions of the Hermitshell Hard Travel case. As a result, the Epson DS-2000 is an excellent choice. As there are intervals between Epson and the case (44 mm by length, 13 mm by width, and 15 mm by height), the 40 portable scanner (length 296, width 69, depth 43 mm) fits freely in the case, leaving space for spare batteries, for example.

I needed a hard case for my Brother DS920dw scanner, and this one is almost perfect: it's deep and tall enough, but only about 2. Because the scanner was 5" too wide, I simply added a piece of foam to fill the gap, and it now fits perfectly and does not move.
The charger and cable that come with the VueScan portable scanner should not be stored in this case. They are not going to fit in the case. The 5. There are no collapsible wall power connectors on the 5v adaptor. The top of the case has a small "pouch" with just enough room for a couple of SD card cases, but that's about it. If the cable doesn't fit in that small "pouch," the case won't close. br>br>By using a different power supply, it can be placed at one end of the case while the cable is tightly curled at the other. br>br>Apart from that, it's a nice hard shell case for the VueScan scanner that keeps it snugly in place, perhaps a little too snugly.
Bought as part of a package with a portable scanner, it arrived on time and in good condition. br>This is a fantastic case. I recently moved and left this in a small dresser, which I completely forgot about. The dresser had fallen a few feet up the stairs, but when I went to check the portable scanner, it was functional. The scanner was well-protected by the case, which was free of scratches and dents. This stands up to scrutiny!.
To be able to zip it shut, you'll need an adaptor. br> If the scanner is inserted backwards, it will not work. Place the gadgets on the same side of the cord, and the adaptor in the case's end next to the scanner. br>br>There is an odor to the case, but it isn't overwhelming. Hopefully, it will go away.
This case was purchased to protect a portable scanner that I had purchased the previous day. The scanner is well protected by the case, which is of excellent quality. It's strong and simple to open and close. The only drawback is that the cord for the portable scanner (which was the recommended case) has no place to be stored in this case due to a lack of space in the case. I simply stuffed the cord into my laptop bag, where it belongs. However, the overall quality is excellent.
This is a very nice case for transporting your scanner; the only issue is that the wall charger does not fit in it. Have an issue with that? That's how chargers get misplaced and lost. In my opinion, this is a major flaw. What good is a case to keep things in if you can't keep everything together in one place? I'm not sure if I'll keep it.

The case is exactly what it says it is: a hard protective outer shell that will do an excellent job of safeguarding the VuPoint Wand and Auto Dock. The back end has a convenient handle, and the interior has a small pouch in the lid that can hold the dock's cable. The auto dock itself is snug and secure, with no rattling. br>br>I gave it three stars because mine smelled terrible when it arrived. I can't seem to get rid of the odor, no matter what I try. I'm going to send it back.
