If you don't mind the STINK, I would recommend it. This travel case was specifically designed for my Fujitsu ScanSnap S1300i (which I adore). If I had to make a suggestion, the mesh compartment on the inside should extend the length of one side instead of just halfway, and have a long zipper closure (to keep cords and other items from laying directly on top of the scanner lid and scratching it). The compartment is too small to accommodate all of the cords, and the only way to close it is with a thin strip of velcro attached to the fabric inside the shell. Aside from that, my main complaint, and the reason for one star, is that this "Hard EVA" case has a very strong chemical odor that hasn't gone away after weeks. I'm not sure what process they use to coat the fabric to harden it, but it smells like shellac. I'm hoping it will fade away with time. I also ordered three Amazon-branded Hard EVA portable hard drive zippered cases, which have no odor. I would have given the scanner case five stars if it weren't for the flimsy storage area and the strong odor!.
As a disclaimer, I uninstalled the version of ScanSnap I had previously installed and then downloaded the most recent version from the Fujitsu website. Using Windows 10 on a Surface Pro 4, the scanner/software can handle regular 9x11 paper just fine, scanning the documents directly where I want them on my computer and never jamming regular size paper. Scanning legal-size documents, on the other hand, will cause it to jam more easily. It would take 5 minutes. 10 at a time, stopping when you get to the halfway point of the page. I ended up having to scan each legal document one page at a time after very carefully manually pulling the documents through; however, for the size of the device, price, and scan quality, I would recommend it.

This case is built to the same high quality as other cases. The case I received had no bad odor or chemical odor, so maybe they've fixed the problem.
For the Epson 300W, it works perfectly. It also accommodates the cables that come with it.

The Fujitsu ScanSnap S1300i is not compatible with this case. br>The case has a built-in compartment that prevents the scanner from being placed inside. br>I'm returning for a refund and am looking for a working case!.
For my scanner, I bought this hard case. There aren't a lot of choices here. br>The previous one, which I paid twice as much for, stank for over three weeks despite my best efforts. Through the plastic bag, I could almost smell this one. Yikes. br>With this one, I didn't bother trying to mask the odor - It wasn't worth the risk of doubting that this chemical stench would ever go away. br>My advice is to keep looking, as I had to, in the hopes of finding something worthwhile.
This is a fantastic situation to be in. It's built to last. I'm sure it'll keep my scanner safe. and accommodates all of the scanner's cords as well as the scanner itself. When it first comes out of the package, however, it has a peculiar odor. It takes a while for the funky odor to dissipate, but it does so eventually. The smell did not detract from the case's overall quality in my opinion.
This scanner was purchased to replace one that I purchased several years ago. The quality is unrivaled. ScanSnap's products are known for their dependability. My husband takes the scanner to work, out in the field, and wherever else he goes. Given how much I used it, the last one lasted much longer than I anticipated. At the very least, it now comes with a protective carrying case, but I couldn't ask for a better scanner. It's simple to use and produces extremely high-quality scans. It's slower than the larger scanner, but it's a smartphone, after all. Overall, I will not purchase any other scanner brand, particularly the mobile, because Fujitsu ScanSnap scanners are A 1.
