Questions & Answers

Do the ink cartridges in this printer need to be replaced?

There isn't any ink on the page. The images grow as the film progresses. As a result, the film must be "replaced." They come in boxes with ten photos each.

Is there a way to charge it with a Samsung or Apple adapter?

Mine is compatible with a standard mini-computer. Charger for the USB port My Galaxy S- It is compatible with four cell phone chargers. I'm not familiar with Apple chargers, but they don't appear to be the same as the ones used by the S3 Instax printer. With a Mini-USB connector, any standard 1 or 2 amp 5 volt charger can be used. The USB connector on the cable's end should be fine. It's also a quick charger.

Is it possible to use it anywhere if your phone has an internet connection?

You won't even require access to the internet. Your phone will connect to the printer's WiFi network in order to print the photo.

Why is the white version so much less expensive than the black version?

I believe this is due to the fact that they do not produce as many. They also have a Taylor Swift version, which is also quite pricey, though I recently purchased black frame film for $9. Each pack costs 99 cents. A price drop occurs from time to time, but it is uncommon.

SP - Instax Purchased 5 / 5)
4/5

To begin, I'd like to state that I adore the Instax line and own several models (Mini, Wide, and Square) as well as the previous Instax Share SP-100. 1 as well as Instax Share SP- 2 prior to buying the Instax Share SP- 3. As a result, I'll make some parallels with them throughout the book. The Instax Share printers "print" a photo onto real Instax Film. This means you can watch the photo develop while getting some unique film effects that you wouldn't get from a Polaroid Snap printer. This also means you won't be able to get a crisp high-resolution image. Rather than a high-quality print, the Instax Share SP- is a "digital print on film"br>br> 3 is the only device that uses the Instax Square film format (the Instax SQ10 digital/analog hybrid camera is the other). The Instax Square film is a reincarnation of the old Polaroid shape, but it's a lot smaller (2. 8" x 3. In comparison to 3, the 4" size is larger. 5" x 4. Old-school Polaroid/Impossible films (25"). Instax Square is also more expensive, about twice as much as Instax Mini and Instax Wide (it's a little more expensive and only comes in 10-packs). (20 for the other sizes, versus 20 for the smaller ones). The size is in the middle of the Mini and Wide ranges. br>br>The Instax SP- is a compact camera that can be used for a variety of purposes. Although the design of 3 is appealing, I believe they made some odd decisions. I liked the design, and I liked that it had the previous model's rechargable battery and that the buttons were recessed so they couldn't be easily pressed, but then they did something strange with the Black model, which has tints of red/purple/rust/bronze instead of a nice solid (matte or piano) black. The battery cover is not attached in any way, so it falls off once you open it, making it easy to misplace. Other covers, such as the USB port, can be difficult to open at times. br>br>In the same way as the SP- 1 and SP- 2. You use the Instax Share app to connect to the printer via WiFi. You can use your smartphone or one of the newer Fuji digital cameras to capture the moment. You'll need to download Instax Share from the app store if you want to use the smartphone app (which most people will). This is the same app as before, and it's a bit of a letdown because you have to go into the settings to switch from Instax Share SP- to Instax Share SP-. Instax Share SP- 1/2 (mini) or Instax Share SP- If you want to use both models, choose 3 (Square). br>br>It's not difficult to use the app: Choose a template (an image from your camera roll or a social media post). After you've chosen a photo, you can crop it to a square shape, adjust brightness/contrast/saturation, and use a template in the app. br>br>For the most part, the templates are ineffective. You can add text to your photos, show the date and time, use a hashtag, and make other comments. One of the more interesting features is the ability to include current weather/location information in a print/photo. All of this is a sham. transferring from SP- br>The SP- is an acronym for "Special Purpose" and stands for " 3 also has a "Split photo" option for splitting a photo into two prints (which is also a carry-over). over, but it's a good one. ) There is no way to print to more than two split photos (so a 2x2 or 3x3 collage of prints isn't possible). br>br>The SP- is an acronym for "Special Purpose" and stands for "Special Purpos 3 introduces a new "My Template" template mode, which is yet another unappealing option. Instead of just adding text to the bottom of the image, it also adds creative text to the image. This means that large oversized text will be strewn about the corners, in a full circle around the image, and so on. br>Could have been a good idea, but it ends up ruining the movie. take a look at SP- You get 3 as a result. br>br>Now for the problems:br>As with the SP- 2. There is still a minor issue with exposure. Any photos with a lot of light will be overexposed. exposed (this can be partially corrected with brightness/contrast adjustments, but this causes its own set of problems). The photos can be properly exposed, but when printed, they will appear overly bright, and the larger size of the square will emphasize this. Any mostly dark photos, on the other hand, tend to come out much too dark (almost black at times), even if they have very well lit areas. Better exposure is required on these, as almost every image requires editing and is still unusable. br>br>The Instax Square SQ10, which was released recently, provided some cool "instagram-like" features. as well as the ability to add vignetting to your images. The SP-X does not have these modes. 3. The only color options are black and white. white or sepia in color. br>br>Since the SP- br>br>Since the SP- br>br>Since the Because the default camera/phone sizes are a vertical portrait or landscape format (which better suits the Mini/Wide), you'll often need to crop every photo significantly. Unless you specifically frame it for the format, I found the cropping required to use Square photos to be very awkward looking. This entails chopping off landscape corners and frequently turning any people-moving vehicles. transforming portraits into a close-up headshot taken from the top br>br>Even worse, the app's cropping is flawed, in that if you crop too close to the edges, the finished print will have a black bar. This has happened a few times now, and each shot is a little pricey, so it's a real bummer. br>br>In addition, the resolution is a carry-over. after a nearly year-long hiatus and-a- half- SP- for old Instax Share 2 (on the SP-1000, 800x800 pixels) 3) This also corresponds to the SQ-resolution. Dithering/color banding issues on prints are sometimes visible as a result of these. br>br>The Instax Share SQ10 (which, admittedly, isn't a great camera) can print photos from a Micro SD Card (which is a little more difficult than using the SP-100's wifi). For about the same price as this, you can add filters, get a built-in camera, and get the same 800x800 print size. br>br>As someone who had a lot of fun with the Instax Share SP- 1 and SP- 2. The SP3 was a letdown for me. The film is more than twice as long, the design is a little odd, and it doesn't fix issues from previous versions while also introducing new ones within the app. I was happy to see it come out, but I had to return it.

If you have a newer version of Android or an iPhone, you should avoid purchasing this
3/5

When this printer arrived, I was beyond ecstatic to use it. Unfortunately, my Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is unable to connect! br>I'm getting an error message that says "UNABLE TO CONNECT. " What use is a printer if it can't communicate with your smartphone? Then I tried connecting the printer to my old iPhone 5, and it instantly connected to the iPhone's wifi! So the lesson here is to avoid purchasing this printer if you have a newer version of the phone because Fuji will need to upgrade their firmware or update their app in order for the printer to work with all of the newer phones. Let's hear it for Fujifilm! What's holding you back from updating your app to make it compatible with all of the new phones? I finally got through to US technical support, and the person I spoke with acknowledged that the app had a problem and that it needed to be updated for the SP-100. 3 to be compatible with all of the new phones Unfortunately, he is powerless because any app update must be carried out by the company's headquarters in Japan, which is refusing to do so. He also admits that customers are returning the product in droves due to its inability to work with all of the latest phones. So, if you want to buy this product, wait until FUJI releases an update to the app. They shouldn't be selling this product at all if they know it won't work with the majority of modern phones.

Images that look fantastic! Wow, this is a fantastic little printer
5/5

I've always wanted to join the instant photo craze, but I've been hesitant because the newer cameras aren't all that great. My family had a decent camera and I grew up with the original polaroids. In my opinion, the first batch of instant camera films released in the last ten years were just fine. Anyway, I waited until they released a good printer with a square format similar to the one I was used to. Yes, it is smaller in size, but the size is perfect for me. I prefer them to the larger photos from the 1980s because they take up less space and aren't so small that you have to squint to see them. The best part is that you can format your photos ahead of time and compose them perfectly to fill the 2. 5”x2. You will be given a 5" square foot space. As others have mentioned, I haven't had any images that aren't pleasing to the eye. I took a chance despite some negative reviews and am so glad I did. The photos are stunning, and the colors really pop; the blacks are also excellent, if not perfect. It will produce a fantastic print if you feed it with nice, sharp photos. Advantages: br>br> br>Fast photo ejection/printingbr>Portablebr>Rechargeable batterybr>Great colorbr>Good blacksbr>Sharp detail executionbr>br>Cons: Adding text sucks because the connection to the printer times out too quickly.

You may want to wait until Fujifilm fixes the printer and updates the mobile app before purchasing it
3/5

I was ecstatic to get my hands on the Instax SHARE SP- It has a lot of flaws, unfortunately. Most of the time, the printer is unable to print due to a timeout or an error. To make it work, you'll have to spend a significant amount of time reconnecting it to your phone. br>br>It appears to me that Fujifilm's product and mobile app have not been thoroughly tested. The mobile app is a disaster to use.
