Questions & Answers

Sorry, but I'm not familiar with this sort of thing; does the printer ever run out of ink? Is the ink on the films, or is it on the films? What exactly is the mechanism behind this?

There isn't any ink on the page. The SP- 2 makes use of Fuji Instax mini instant film, which is similar to older Fuji Instax cameras. Polaroids of the current moment When you "print" an image, you're actually exposing the Instax film in the printer, which then develops and fixes on its own over the course of 5 minutes. After it's been ejected from the printer, wait 15 minutes. Cartridges are used to store the film. There are ten sheets in each cartridge. You open the camera after ten exposures, remove the empty cartridge, and replace it with a new one. The Instax Mini film is likely to be the most expensive aspect of using this printer.

What is the difference between this and the previous SP- 1 model? What are the advantages and disadvantages of the overall quality?

In the coming days, I'll compare the two. br>The SP- is an acronym for "Special Purpose" and stands for " The resolution of the 2 is higher (approximately 800x600 vs. 640x480), but it also appears to resolve the exposure problem. I only bring this up because I've touched the SP-100 by accident. 1 If the image had a black line running through it while printing (presumably where it bumped), this could indicate that extra caution is required when using the SP-100. 2 in a public place/while moving. br>The SP- is an acronym for "Special Purpose" and stands for " The battery in the 2 is rechargeable. Is it only possible to connect via WiFi? If that's the case, how come I can't print photos outside (because there's no WiFi)?

The printer has its own wireless network on the inside. The instax share app connects to the printer's WIFI network when you use it. The printer does not need to be connected to a wireless network.

Is it true that if you take a picture with a digital camera, send it to your email, and then save it to your phone, the picture quality will suffer?

The SP- One printer appears to perform better when printing photos taken with a digital camera (emailed to a phone). The SP- 2 appears to work better with photos printed from your phone. br>I was in possession of an SP- 1 and thousands of photos taken with a DSLR were printed. employing the SP- 2 to do the same is a much more hit-or-miss situation. If you try to print a picture normally, the quality will be poor (no details in faces, color banding, over-printing, etc.). exposed). To get good prints from digital camera photos, you really need to adjust them to be very neutral (no major highlights or shadows). Using the SP-Tool, I got much more accurate results (some similar issues, but much easier to 'fix,' and issues that were not nearly as noticeable).

Why I'd rather have this than a Polaroid camera - photographs as an example For the past two years, I've owned a Fujifilm Instax Mini 8, and I adore the idea of having my photos printed right away
5/5

However, the chances of getting a good photograph are slim. Regardless of whether I take the photo myself or have it taken by others, the results are always disappointing. It's either because the exposure is too high or too low, or because I'm too close or too far away from the camera. Because the films are so costly and wasteful, I decided to purchase a printer. The printer is incredible! br>br> I like that I get to pick which photos I want to print. It has a vintage feel to it thanks to the printer. I like how I can change the brightness, contrast, and saturation of my photos to give them a unique appearance. Because the images usually print out darker, I usually lower the contrast and increase the brightness. I've included some images that I've printed with the SP- 2 are two examples. br>br>I'd go with the printer instead of the mini 8. Despite the fact that the printer costs $100 more, I believe it is a better investment given the amount of time I wasted on the Mini 8. I hope this information aids you in your decision-making process!.

On the new iOS, the printer is functional! Reviewing the instructions
5/5

I read all of the reviews on this site as well as the Apple app store for the Fuji Instax camera. Almost everyone claimed that the printer had stopped working after the iOS 13 update. Daniel97, who left a review on the iOS app page, advised doing the following: 1. br>br> Allow while usingbr>br>2. Click the time stamp setting in the app and allow while usingbr>br>3. Other than Instax, don't use any other WIFI networks. br>br>3. When you want to print, turn off your cellular data. br>br>I just received my printer today from Amazon. I followed the instructions he provided in his app review, and the photos came out perfectly. They appear to be fantastic. We all need to do a better job of leaving helpful reviews.

Be cautious, Apple users
3/5

This app is not compatible with the most recent version of iOS. Although it is a good little product, the company does not provide any support. It is no longer compatible with Apple products. The app required to use this product with iOS has not been updated in 9 months, and if you have the latest iOS installed on your iPhone or iPad, this app, and thus this printer, will not work! I used to adore this printer, so this is a real disappointment.

If you already have the SP-, read the tips for better printing
4/5

1. There is no requirement to purchase SP- If you don't already have one and are debating whether or not to get one, I strongly suggest this small printer. For several reasons, I purchased the printer rather than the Fujifilm instax camera: 1) I am a perfectionist; however, if I use the camera and am not satisfied with the real-time films, which occurs frequently (imagine taking photos from your phone multiple times), it is a waste of the films, and I know I will not keep or display them. The films are sold in a ten-pack and are not inexpensive. I understand the thrill of having an instant camera and seeing the photos develop right away, as well as the disappointment of seeing the not-so-immediately-developed photos. To me, the importance of good photographs outweighs the thrill. 2) You select the items you want to print from your phone and, if necessary, reprint them. There is no way to save and reprint photos taken with an instant camera. Having this printer allows me to focus on taking photos and selecting the best. br>br>I bought the gold one, and the color is stunning. I use this printer with caution because I don't want to accidentally press the film's opening button (which will ruin the film) or the "reprint" bottom on the side (which will ruin the film). Unlike the instant camera, this printer is not for children to use. br>br>I've been using this printer for a while now, and here are some of my recommendations for which photos will print better. Keep in mind that the color of the photos is vintage, as you may have noticed. As a result, the images will be color-corrected. enhanced and a smidgeon of exaggeration exposed. As a result, you should select your phone's RAW images. When taking pictures with an iPhone, for example, you can select from a variety of filters (tonal, mono, fade, noir, and so on). Normally, I select "none" for true color, and I'm referring to RAW images here. Don't get me wrong: the filters (special colors) look great on your phone if you choose them carefully. However, because the color was already enhanced from your phone, when you print from this printer, the results are either TOO DARK or TOO BRIGHT. (See the two photos attached; one has a filter from my phone, while the other's printout is too dark. ) ) This also applies to photos taken with any photo app or on Instagram that have been edited or have had the color changed in some way. Another example would be if your face has already been over-exposed to the sun. That would not be a good picture to choose to print because your face will come out over-exposed from the raw picture (like a hot sunny day at the beach with no shade). exposed. I also experimented with a photo from my wedding. Because the original has a "soften" effect, it came out a little blurry; however, any previously edited photos will appear too dark, too bright, or a little blurry. Some weren't bad, but they weren't up to par with my expectations based on the original photos. (Again, I'm a snob when it comes to photography. ) ) Obviously, the quality of printouts from this printer will be affected if your original raw photos are blurry or low resolution (depending on what phone you're using). Another reminder is that the border lines on the film will not be fully developed (with some white lines if you look closely) after it has been developed. I recommend that you do not use any clips on the photos and that you do not immediately put them in the album. Allow them to sit for a few minutes longer (I usually leave them overnight to be safe), and the white border lines in the image will fade away. br>br>With this little printer, I've had a lot of fun so far. I've had no problems using this little machine except for the fact that the wifi connection goes on and off because I'm choosing which photos to print, which can take a long time. I recommend knowing which photo to choose first, connecting to the printer's wifi, and then opening the app and selecting the exact photo you need in case the wifi goes out while you're still choosing your photo. The official app has been criticized by some users. Unfortunately, this is the only app that allows you to connect with your phone and print from it. I dislike all of the app's templates, but fortunately, I only print the plain white ones with white borders. There's a lot that could be better about this app. The black-and-white photos are the only thing that disappoints me. option of black-and-white This new feature had initially piqued my interest, but it no longer does. So far, the black-and-white photographs have not appealed to me. For this reason, I have given it a four-star rating rather than a five-star rating. However, I may need to conduct additional research before reaching a conclusion. If I come across anything new, I'll update this post.

If you're interested, I strongly advise you to check it out! I was hesitant to purchase this because you must use the Instax SHARE app to use the printer, and some reviewers have reported that they were unable to do so
5/5

However, it works flawlessly on my iPhone 7. I like the variety of options available with this printer, including the ability to select and edit any photo. I also have a Fujifilm Instax Mini 8, and I frequently select the incorrect setting, am in a dimly lit environment, and the photos turn out poorly in general. However, now I can take photos with my phone (or any camera) and print them! Multiple editing options, as well as the ability to split a photo into two photos, are available in the app! Also, before purchasing the printer, you can simply download the app and experiment with the settings to see how your prints would turn out if you had one. br>(Tip 1: If you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, try using the words " The prints are usually a shade brighter than the original. )br>(Tip 2: If you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, try using the words "original You can use almost any digital photo, but you must be able to transfer it to your device in order to print it using the Instax SHARE app. ).
