It's a printer for printing photos that we bought because everything was supposed to be self-contained. contained in this nice carry case, but there's no way this case was made for this printer. I'm returning everything and would appreciate a response as soon as possible.
I'd recommend this item, but the photo quality could be better. Keep in mind that I've only printed from my phone, not a digital camera. This bundle is a good value for all of the items included. So, after using this item for four weeks, I'd like to give you an update. The printer jammed twice in the last five months; the first time it said paper jam, so I did what the printer said and turned it off and back on to unjam the paper; this did not work. I couldn't get it unclogged, and I ended up wasting an entire ink cartridge trying. So I had my brother fix it because the ink cartridge in the printer was jammed. He returned it to me, and I used it twice. In the middle of the second use, it jammed again, but this time it said something different, and I couldn't use it. Purchase is not recommended.
This package is a good value. The printer is a fantastic machine in and of itself. The case for the Selphy, on the other hand, isn't made. The foam cutouts on the right side of the case are for something I'm not sure about. You'll have to change the cutouts.
So I bought this because it said it could be used for sublimation, but it's not for sublimation at all, and the print quality falls far short of my expectations. Very let down.
However, the case was disappointing. This printer is ideal for travel. I received it in a very short period of time as well. 3 days from now! Setup was simple, and connecting my iPad Mini and Note 9 was a breeze. The print quality was excellent! Keep in mind that the print quality usually corresponds to the image quality. I gave this printer four stars because, as another reviewer stated, the case was not designed for it. To make room for the printer and power supply, I had to remove all of the foam. I couldn't fit any of the ink cartridges or paper into the case. The case is adequate for storing it, but not for traveling with all of its components.
Except for the initial setup, particularly the Wi-Fi, I like almost everything about this 4x6 printer. Setting up Wi-Fi (Wireless LAN) for printing from a phone (tablet or phablet for Wi-Fi) Fi & (See, for example, AirPrint. ) I'm a retired technical writer, so I understand how difficult it is to write for even the most inexperienced of us users while still maintaining others' interest in using the manual. If you haven't had to specify an SSID value and an associated password in the past, I would probably recommend having someone who is familiar with networks on standby to assist you. DO NOT FEEL BAD IF YOU GET LOST IN THE NETWORK SETUP; once it's done, you'll probably never have to touch it again. Aside from a 90s-inspired soundtrack, there isn't much else to say. era network setup routine, the printer, and its available functions are perfectly adequate (though a new model would be nice - The 1300 must evolve to become as simple to set up and use as most cell phones and tablets).
The interface is very user-friendly. You should probably buy more ink and printer paper when you first get the package. br>Only about 6 photos can be printed with the ink that comes with it.
The printer is fantastic, and the inclusion of a mini USB cable in the kit was a nice touch. The included case is useful for storing the printer and accessories as well as gentle handling, but it won't provide much protection from significant bumps or drops - Also, as other reviewers have pointed out, the foam included in the kit isn't designed for this printer, so I removed it entirely.
