Questions & Answers

Will these keep their seal if you use them for several business cards and then cut around each one?

The best method for laminating business cards is to laminate the entire sheet, cut them out, and then run the cut pieces through the laminator with a carrier (the white folder that comes in the box) to seal the edges once more. If you threw the carrier away because you didn't think you'd need it, a Manilla folder will suffice. I hope you find this information useful.

Is it possible to get these in a matte finish?

This paper does require the use of a laminator.

What are your thoughts on using a dry erase marker for these?

They are very effective. My wife is a teacher, and she creates a variety of laminated projects for which dry erase markers are ideal.

They aren't the best, but they are adequate

When you have small items to laminate, this is inconvenient. Because there isn't enough static to keep the pieces in place while you apply the laminate, a lot of the material falls to the ground and overlaps. They work well if you only need to laminate lettersize paper.

Because of the low number of reviews, I was hesitant to go with this brand. However, because the price was so low, I decided to take a chance. They turned out great! I used legal paper to laminate maps. There are no complaints! This is a brand from which I will definitely buy again.
