Questions & Answers
I have a Scotch laminator, and these work beautifully with it. I'm a teacher, and the other teachers in my building have a variety of laminators, but we all buy this product because it's the best deal we've found so far. I hope this has been of assistance.
It is not necessary to wear a sleeve. I use an Apache laminator to laminate them. I can run it through twice for good measure and it won't melt. This is fantastic.
Sized to fit an 8-inch letter. 5x11 is ideal.
I've never had any problems cutting after laminating as long as a small edge between the object and the laminating is left.

For the same price as these 300-packs, I previously purchased a 200-pack of a different brand. Apache pouches should be brought with you at all times. Because I am a teacher who despises using my school's 1mm thin lamination, I was overjoyed to find a pack with one hundred more for the same price. br>br>Once it arrived and I had a chance to try it, it was clear that these were of the same high quality as all the other brands I had previously purchased - Despite Apache's low price, I've used well over 100 pouches and have had no problems.
Pay a little more for a LOT better product. This is a disaster. I am a teacher who frequently uses a personal laminator. These laminating sheets are a complete disaster. I thought I was getting a good deal, but it turned out to be a joke. It's difficult to even get the paper into these things to laminate because of the static. If it goes in incorrectly, don't bother trying to adjust it. Laminating film has flaws as well. I've tried other "off" brands before and had no issues, but stay away from these.
The pouches are fantastic. I needed more than 100, and these were a great deal. These pouches are identical to the ones included in the 100-pack. The package was found inside another bag, open. Perhaps 15 of the 300 were harmed in some way. Those will be used when I need to reduce the size of the materials for smaller projects. I've only used them in an Apache laminator, so I can't say how well they'll work in other machines. I can't think of any reason why they wouldn't. They're crystal clear and perfectly sealed. For my child, I use them as a wipe-and-write book. br>When I finish this pack (which won't be for a while), I'll definitely order more of these.
I previously used Scotch brand pouches before switching to Nuova brand pouches. Every single one of the three brands performed admirably - These Apache brand pouches are the same quality as the name brand, but at a much lower price, so why not use them instead of the name brand? They come highly recommended from me!.
For a long time, I've used both the 3mil and 5mil laminating sheets from this company. On Amazon/the market, they have the lowest price. I've never had an issue with using them. As long as I've properly warmed up my laminator, they come out nice and clean. br>br>The only issue I've had in the past has been with their packing. This time, the pack of 3 mil laminating sheets arrived in excellent condition, as shown. However, in the past, I've received extremely battered and messed-up boxes; perhaps the company is now paying more attention. br>br>In addition, the 5mil sheets are a significant upgrade over the 3mil sheets. The three million dollars are correct. 3 mil is a little thicker than the cheap commercial laminates available at school, but if you want something much more durable, 3 mil is the way to go. br>br>Overall, excellent laminating sheets at an affordable price.
Unfortunately, the laminated plastic began to peel away from the paper after a few days, and large pockets of visible air bubble have appeared. I put the pouches through two machines. 3 times, which is an improvement, but not good enough. This is great if you want to save money on laminating pouches and don't plan on trimming to the edge or paper, but it won't work for laminated book covers or shapes.
I went through all 300 pouches in a matter of days, and I adore them. The inside surface is grippy enough to prevent items from sliding around while being fed into the laminator. The pouches were simple to work with and the items came out clear. The only issue I had was that on some items, the seal was a little too far away from the laminated item, but on the majority of them, it was very close. br>I'm hoping that the item will become available again so that I can purchase more. Rather than buying a bunch of 100 packs, I prefer the 300 count pack.
Any teacher knows that laminating is costly, and many of us don't have laminators in our buildings, much less ones that work consistently. As a result, we can be in laminating heaven from the comfort of our own homes if we purchase a personal laminator quickly. Sleeves for laminating are costly-- Before I discovered Apache, I tried a number of different brands. To cut a long story short, I'm not returning. These 300 sleeves are less expensive than any other brand and are of comparable, if not superior, quality. I strongly advise any teacher or anyone who may be doing some personal laminating to use them!.
