If you cut a hole in the lid of the container then it will slot into the 13"
As they have a 250 rms rating, you will be able to increase the tire size more than normal kickers as well, so I would be willing to go with these if you are thinking about upgrading.

There is no comparison to this single 2 ohm sub coupled with 6x9 American Bass speakers in terms of clarity, durability, and crossover capability. For a subwoofer that is durable and capable of taking a beating, Rockford is always the winner. A friend of mine has had this same sub, and has been running it off of a 900w amp. Regardless of whether it is a small ported truck box or a larger one, you still won't find an equal offer.
As a gift for Christmas, we gave our son this, but he did not install it until 2 months later because he was yet to replace his amplifier. Due to the fact that we have only 30 days for returning items, we have to go through Rockford Fosgate's warranty process in which we must pay for return shipping, and we must be without the item for as long as it takes for them to process it. It is not a product I would buy.
This sub is exactly what I wanted and I am completely satisfied. I really like it and found exactly what I was looking for in a subwoofer.
Every time I purchase a Rockford product, I find that the build quality has gotten better. The rest of the industry turns to garbage over the lifetime of a product, but Rockford keeps raising the bar on all fronts. Since the nineties, I have been 100% satisfied and loyal to this company. Rockford, on the other hand, has made continuous improvements over the years, and I wish more American companies did too.
You should buy these speakers. I highly, highly recommend them. I would like to begin by saying that these subs were very well constructed. Fortunately, the cone is made out of kevlar reinforced paper, meaning that it does not tear easily under the pressure of bass hits, since bulletproof vests are made of Kevlar. Speakers have a metal basket in which the magnet is located, and the positive and negative wires are woven into the cone itself, so that the wires are less likely to melt and blow the speakers. This is the amplifier I have in my car, which is a four-channel amplifier with 400 watts per channel. A subwoofer or speaker should have a strong bass response Taking good care of the subwoofer will make it happy and you will be happy too. The subs can blow regardless of how well constructed they are, if you put too much gain on them, crank up the bass level too high, or do anything else that exceeds what they can handle. We hope that this review was helpful in understanding what these speakers are capable of and how long they will last. Thanks a lot!.
The P1's in this pair are my second set from Rockford Fosgate. I liked what I heard, but I wanted to know have now hooked these 10's up parallel to a Rockford Fosgate 500XD1 and they are incredible. If you are looking for quality subs at an affordable price, these would be a good option.
I have two of them wired at 2 Ohms to a 500 watt amp from Prime. I still have not broken them in yet, but they are clean and loud. The RF system I have is my first and I am in love with it! A RECENT UPDATE In lieu of my center console, I have built a single ported box since my last review. 1 hour and 45 minutes in length. With this sub, I can get this amp to rattle my rearview mirror with the lower tones while it is turned down to half.
