You can learn how to do this by watching a YouTube channel called Camo River Guide Service. The clip only took me thirty seconds to watch to get all that out of my system!
Many saltwater anglers find that LiveScope's maximum distance is 200 feet, so they are unable to use it. There is a maximum distance of 200 feet most people use this at less than 100 feet for improved quality.

The transducer on our larger boat shows 30' of foredeck when tied to it in 30' of clear ocean water in traditional sonar mode. We see the same reading on the instruments on our large Traditional sonar views show fish that are passing by in addition to the current view. As you view the depth in Panoptic mode you will see erratic depths that are twice what they actually are. It is therefore impossible for me to use it. There was a negative review that mentioned it was useless in saltwater, and perhaps that is the problem, but I believe it is a total waste of money for me and Amazon has agreed to allow me to return it.
Salt to the depths of 50 feet.
In foreword view, I was impressed. However, in perspective view, I am in awe. A 30-foot view of the city is available The boat is in less than 5 feet of water when it is 40ft from the boat. A fish can be seen swimming through the weeds in real time, very similar to mega 360, but in live time. Definitely a must for fish lovers.
It is the best fishing tool that i have Take a look at the videos on YouTube for yourself. One thing everyone with one agrees on is how great it is.
It's so much fun and so easy to fish on ice with it. It's so crazy cool to see the fish stalk your jig in real time. It may take a bit to alter the settings, but watch a bunch of YouTube videos and you will be good to go.
On my boat and when I go ice fishing, I have one. I love it. I like it a lot.
In the process of checking it out.
