Is it possible for the person with the black wheel to get a job?

Not 100 happy since I bought it for a back-up system. I bought a new belt but haven't worn it yet. The black is what I have, and it appears to be the right size.

Exceptional Fit - Black housing for the ST4000

This was a perfect fit for my black-housing ST4000 autopilot. I was concerned because, due to its age, I couldn't tell whether my unit was "faded" black or gray. It was simply faded black, as it turned out. Simply remove the wheel from the pedestal, pull the back of the cover away from the motor, and unscrew the cover. Put on the belt, and you're ready to go! My boat, which had not been sailed in ten years, was on autopilot.

This is the difficult-to-find correct part

The Raymarine st4000 Mark 1 black and this belt are a perfect match. If you're working on this unit, you're well aware of how difficult it can be to locate parts or information. With this autohelm, I've had the wrong belt, a worn out belt, and various other problems. I was able to make the adjustments I needed to engage gearing to drive the motor and disengage so that I could free will it by hand using this belt.
