Questions & Answers

The Audio Technica AT-55 is the device I use There is also a Lepai LP60 The 2020A+ version of Tripath's TA2020 class I Hope you're well Can I still use a preamp if I have an audio amplifier with built-in power supply?

Your internal pre-flight test is not necessary for me because I have a Bluetooth model It may or may not be different, but I route my turntable output through a MIDI controller with onboard sampling, and its built-in preamp isn't strong enough to boost the output signal to a level acceptable for recording. It is fine to test out yours, but I know I need one.

RCA jacks are on my turntable and I have Logitech speakers that are connected to my headphone jack by using a converter A type A jack is connected to an RCA jack. How much power do I need for ?

The answer is yes. RCA jacks on the turntable can be connected to RCA jacks on speakers to get audio from them. If the turntable is an older one, it may not be grounded, so you may You also will not hear very well since the volume is very low. I am a You can get the volume level you desire with the amp, and eliminate the humming sound.

Could you please advise whether a Shure C608 microphone would work with this preamp or whether the impedance is too far Can you tell me what the current draw is? In third place, how long is the battery going to last?

Make sure that you purchase a preamp which is designed for your particular input. The inputs on a microphone and the inputs on a phonophone are different. The preamplifiers that Böhmeringer designs are specially tailored to each one of these Visit their website to learn more.

Is it possible to use this preamp with a Numark PT1 ?

Although you can, the device is cheap as a bag of chips. I tried it out of the box but it didn't work. Unless you use a 9v battery, it won't work. It seemed like there was some kind of problem with the DC plug input. While I had seen the 1 star reviews, I decided to give it a try nonetheless and yeah, nothing worked.

In the same way that Pyle quality control and designing are garbage, the Preamp is garbage as well
3/5

The phono preamp on this system is worthless. As soon as I plugged it in, I was only getting one channel of audio. All connections were checked and it turned out this amp had only one working input. We disassembled it, and found that the battery cover retaining screw was too long, and that when the thing was screwed in, a resistor on the PCB was damaged. Even if it worked, it wasn't worth the 18 dollars I spent. As a senior mechanical engineering student, I find this design to be extremely poor. The last time I bought Pyle products was many years ago. A product of this quality must be redesigned, and 18 dollars just is not worth it. Something else should be purchased.

In other words, it works as you would expect it to
5/5

Many people have had negative things to say about It works perfectly. I just got it. I can play albums and 45s on my sound system using it. I have a lot of records which aren't in mint condition so for this reason, they don't have the highest quality as CDs. After all, scratches are part of what makes the world go round. It is possible to pay double on some of the other models that are suggested here, but as long as your goal is to listen to old music, don't waste your money because this model works great.

There is a real buzz going on
3/5

This one isn't worth it, but you can spend a little more and pass. The buzz of a preamp. My time working on this problem has taken the better part of 3 days. To solve my ground loop issue, I isolated all my equipment, ran power wire away from speaker wire, ran the preamp by itself through different inputs - the issue has been resolved. I agree with it all. Despite the fact that it's a Pyle product, this preamp buzzes terribly. The majority of the time, Pyle is ok with me. You can get good stereo equipment on a budget if you do not require Their two amplifiers have been with me for a while. Pyle has wasted more than $20 of my personal time on their junk Chinese garbage, but I am disgusted with this company. I hate it when that happens. Don't waste your time and money on a cheap one buy one that costs twice as much instead. In the meantime, I'll be working on that.

What a sweet deal! I would recommend it highly
5/5

It's less than twenty dollars, sounds great, ships fast, and is worth it. Although I thought about purchasing something more expensive, I had no comparison to go by. Please note, I had no other option. Thus, I ran it direct to the receivers as opposed to using this box, then connecting directly to my computer and back to the It was slightly better sounding straight into either of my JVC 517v receivers with untouched. There's only one problem A little adjustment to the computer and the game is over. While this can be done on the receiver via the receiver, in most cases, it will cause more harm than good. The computer can add reverb, EQ, Noise Reduction, range expansion, widen or narrow the separation, and even slow down or speed up without distortion. The music I played included Rap, rock, classical, old school motown, soul, and even some CD's with the same stuff I own records of. Amazing indeed! There is no way I would buy something more expensive without comparing it to something less expensive! The software I'm using is listed below. **I have an old Creative Labs Sound Blaster X-treme connected to my DIYer PC Despite its 101db rating, the Fi Xtreme Music card that died makes me miss the Auzen Prelude. My line-level input is being used as a microphone and I'd like you to not use it as one. When I don't use motherboard sound (MIC switched to input at line level) I don't use it as a source. Please join us at the following date and time! *br/> The red and white RCA connectors on the phono are plugged into the phono's input on the preamp box. It is important to output the computer using something like "AmazonBasics 3". A range of 5mm to 2mm Connect the male and female RCA connectors to your devices. It is the equivalent of the Monoprice "4 Feet". The solution presented here was good, maybe better than other more expensive solutions/options out there, but it rocks. The Technics SL-S has been my workhorse for a long time My turntable (record player LOL) needle and stylus appeared to have worn out so I thought it was worn. I even ordered a cheap needle to check this, and I found that the old needle had gunk on it when magnified. I just need a little WD-40 A mixture of 40 and alcohol and Q- It is all good again now that you have learned this tip. The "47" needle/stylus sounds like it will cost 47 and the "19" sounds like a 19! I know that's not fair, but that's not really true. The new needle will only be kept as a backup. It is a product I would be willing to buy again if needed, as well as recommending to people. We are here to help you if this is unclear. In my computer, I use two receivers, one for the analog left and right channels, and the other for discrete analog 5. The first is something I have for many years, a JVC for music and one for discrete analog. The sound can be used for games, music and so forth.

The phono pre-amp in a small (literally) package This is amplified
5/5

I used it right from the box, and it worked great. A Grado XF3E cartridge and Lepai 2020ti amplifier in contact. Based on my testing of the frequency response of the unit (see attached chart), I found that it suffered from a lack of low and high end response compared to the unit I tested. In 1994, the RIAA was established In 1998, the warehouse special was offered for a special price). Despite being quiet, there is no sound to be heard - This device is drawn power from the 2020ti's 12VDC "wall wart" switching power supply using a coaxial power splitter "Y" cable. I tried to run it on a 9V battery, but nothing changed. A roll-up design can be achieved with it To filter out the bass response below 20 Hz, turn off the bass response In my previous low-level posts We will end pre-production It was the amplifier (a Velleman 2573) that was not doing this, and the turntable's (a solid plinth Rega Planar 3) rumble that was very noticeable. I like it it makes a great sound when combined with the Lepai amplifier.

Poor output makes the unit unreliable, and the replacement unit costs far more than MAKE SURE YOU BUY A BETTER PRODUCT
3/5

I received this product a few months ago and was quite impressed with its performance and sound quality at that time. One of the outputs of this product has not worked for me since I used it for the 2nd or 3rd time. It was only after moving the wires that I was able to determine that it was the pre-wires It was the amp that caused the problem. As a result of checking the warranty, I decided to see if it could be returned. Due to Pyle's warranty requirements, I need to include $15 with my return (plus I have to pay for shipping, etc. ) so, in the end, it is far cheaper for me to just buy a new one instead of paying to have it repaired. For the simplest solution, I would suggest just buying a more expensive and more reliable unit. After testing further, it appears that the output cuts out after about 5 minutes. It's almost as if the circuitry is overloaded It is very hot.

The old turntable is now connected to the According to the description, the product delivers what it promises
5/5

With an old Scott turntable connected via RCA jacks to my Tuner, I used the phono input to connect it to the turntable. My turntable was unable to use the new digital tuner when that old one died. It had no Phono Input and I had to get a new one. Someone suggested that I simply needed a pre-amp since I had not used the turntable for many years This is amplified. I was looking for a device that would fit the bill, and Pyle PP555 did the trick. The fact that this device does not require a power supply is one of the things I like best. You shouldn't have to be concerned about adding a plug since it is powered by a 9 volt battery. Set-up was simple, but make sure the ground wire of the turntable is connected.
