There is no charge in this item. ALL THE TIME GOES DEAD. I bought it for the beach, but it never charges to full capacity, and it dies in a matter of hours, even if it is plugged in the entire time.
I mostly use it at work in my office with my laptop, so it's not like I'm blasting EDM tracks at 11 o'clock. I also don't use the light function at work to save battery life. That being said, I left it charging overnight the day before, had a full charge the next morning, and used it for the majority of the day at a low volume. It died within three hours today. br>I'd suggest buying new and getting a warranty extension.
After reading a few negative reviews, I was hesitant to purchase a JBL Pulse 3 that had been renewed. In terms of performance, the light show is amazing, but the sound quality isn't as good as my other JBL speakers (Charge 3 and Flip 4). br>br>In terms of packaging, it arrived in the original box with all of the original contents. br>br>In terms of performance, the light show is amazing, but the sound quality isn't as good as my other JBL speakers (Charge 3 and Flip 4). br>br>In about a month, I'll come back and update this.
This speaker is fantastic. It's loud enough that I can hear it from every room in my house. I like that I can connect it to both my laptop and my phone and quickly switch between the two inputs. The light effect is a little unnecessary, but it's lovely, and I'm learning to appreciate it. br>br>I bought this to replace a much cheaper speaker I got from Walmart, which was an early 808 Glo. I don't remember which model it was. The volume and sound quality are far superior to that of the 808 speaker. Even though I am not an audiophile, I can hear the difference. Granted, the JBL was nearly three times the price. br>br>However, one feature of the 808 that I really miss is the auto-mute feature. feature to turn it off I've forgotten to turn off the speaker before leaving for work on a few occasions. When I get home, my speaker is completely dead. I believe this feature is missing because once my phone is out of Bluetooth range, it simply connects to my always-present laptop and starts playing. For the next 8 hours (or until the battery runs out), there will be no activity. br>br>In addition, the Blutooth range is slightly shorter than the 808. I've discovered that if I leave the speaker in the kitchen and carry my phone around with me, the connection will drop as I move around the house. With the 808 this was not an issue. I'm not sure how far the range stretches, but I live in a small house (746 sq ft), so it's not a particularly long one (15-minutes). Is it possible that the height will be around 20 feet?.
Unfortunately, I've been extremely ill! Polycythemia vera is a blood disorder that affects me. I noticed that it has a tendency to act up after I received it. The mini plug and turning it off. When you plug it in, it makes a noise that isn't always pleasant. It has an outburst. br>I really like this, but I know it's been a long time since I've seen it.
The various lighting styles are appealing to me. The sound is good for poolside, and we haven't needed to turn it up very loud because it is crisp and clear. It does not occupy a lot of room. So far, splashes and other mishaps have not damaged the speaker. I'm glad I chose this model.
It appears that I have tried a few new items here and there, only to be disappointed by their state. For instance, screws missing from a child's bike or broken stands on tablet cases are examples. However, when it came to this JBL speaker, I was pleasantly surprised. Although it appeared to be a little worn, it worked perfectly and held a long charge! I'm talking about a week's worth of play, with about an hour of it per day! I figured I would try this speaker renewed for 40% the SALE price at retail stores, and I am glad I did. Hopefully, the "refreshed version" of this speaker will last long enough for others to take advantage of the discount.
On a fully charged battery, the device lasts for 3 hours. I'm not sure if it's because of the light settings or because the battery was damaged by the previous owner, but the battery doesn't seem to last much longer even at half volume. I was dissatisfied with it and will most likely return it soon.
