It's what they're built for! However, because of the SB Z's design, using analog connections for games will provide better EAX and other features. Many of SBZ's features are bypassed when playing games using optical. 1 easily! any kind of link! If that's all you need it for, then go ahead and get it. You can use any connection for games, music, or whatever else you want; digital is only used for music and DVDs (IMO). Both optical and analog inputs are available on these Ltec Z906 speakers! You, on the other hand, are responsible for supplying the cables.
These are THX-certified computer speakers that can be used to listen to music or play games while connected to a television. Expect them to do a lot more than that for only $300. What you desire will be more expensive and custom-made for you. Look into Klipsch or other brands that offer more professional equipment, and if you can't afford it right now, start saving. If you do more research on the subject and spend some time reading up on some of the well-known audio sites online, you won't be sorry, but asking Amazon customers for that type of information is a bad idea.

Be careful who you buy from. These speakers are not returnable, despite the fact that they claim to be on Prime. I've reached the end of my 30-day return period, and Amazon is refusing to accept my returns. I was directed to the manufacturer, but I have yet to receive a response. If an item isn't returnable, it should be stated clearly. My speakers don't work because they don't have any sound, and I haven't been able to get a refund yet.
While it was working, the speaker system was fantastic. I purchased it a little more than a year ago, and the first issue occurred about three months ago. In essence, it stopped working completely, with only two lights on the physical control panel (in the Input column, 5 and Aux were lit, and all other lights were turned off). It began to work again after I unplugged it. The same thing happened again a few weeks ago (approximately 57 weeks after purchase, with a 1-year warranty). I've tried the same solution several times and it's never worked. After looking through their support site, forums, and google searches, it appears that this is a common issue with the product, and Logitech's response has been all over the place, with the majority of the time refusing to replace the units. br>br>I'm not going to discuss the device's functionality or sound because the design of these speakers is clearly flawed. It's very disappointing to see Logitech continue to sell these products despite the obvious flaw, and it's even more disappointing that they aren't providing any support for them; this will have a negative impact on my opinion of the company in the future (which was previously positive).
After that, they begin to make a cracking and popping sound; you can reset them, but after a while, they simply stop working. SO THAT WAS MY RECOMMENDATION. WHERE ELSE CAN YOU FIND IT? This is a known problem, but Logitech is doing nothing to address it, so don't buy these. br>br>UPDATE: These are not covered by Logitech's warranty. period. If you're experiencing a reset loop, don't attempt it. These speakers are a sham, and Logitech is well aware of it.

It was a $300 waste. Item is defective, Amazon will not accept it back because it is "hazardous," and Logitech customer service is a black hole. I emailed them several times but received no reply. Don't throw away your cash or your time.
This was purchased about two months ago. I was ecstatic, and the sound quality was fantastic! br>Now, after two months, the right front speaker failed due to soldering issues, which I corrected. br>That I could use and adapt. br>At this point, both the center and left front speakers have stopped working. br>Of the five speakers, three are working now, and it's only been two months. br>Do not waste your money on this because it is not durable and will disappoint you. br>This is the worst $300 I've ever spent. 00 I've ever spent on an item, and as a hardworking person, I simply cannot afford to waste money on CRAP like this. br>AVOID THIS AT ALL COSTS. For the money, this is an excellent system. Performance rivals systems that cost twice as much, if not three times as much. Before I purchased it, I did a lot of research. The system's only flaw is its appearance. The speakers have the appearance of PC desk top speakers (which they are, in reality). When you hang them on the wall to use as surround sound with your TV, you'll have to get creative with how you make them "work" with the rest of the room's appearance, but that's not a big deal. The SOUND and FUNCTIONALITY are both outstanding. Without a doubt, I would purchase it again. The subwoofer is small, but it has a VERY rich, powerful bass, does not distort when pushed to its limits, and will shake your house with high-quality sound if necessary.
Good day to all. In March of 2018, I purchased the Logitech Z906 speaker system. It's been nearly two months since we last saw each other. So I believe I've put the speaker system through its paces enough to provide an unbiased assessment. For the price, this speaker system is fantastic, with crystal clear sound from low to high frequencies. The subwoofer provides excellent bass. At times, it rattles my room. In the center channel, the voices are also very clear. You can connect an audio source in a variety of ways with the system. 5 mm, RCA cables, 6 channel direct, 2 Optical Digital slots, coaxial Digital; for my needs, I prefer optical Digital. It also includes all of the speaker wires you'll need to get started. On this speaker system, TV shows, movies, and games all sound fantastic. This is the speaker system to get if you want high-quality sound at a reasonable price. On the Logitech Z906 speaker system, I thoroughly enjoy all of my shows and movies.
