The cable is well made and of good quality, just like every other Canon OEM product I've used

For tapeless capture, I use it with an adapter to take component video from the XHA1 and feed it into the HDMI input of an Atomos Ninja. And it's a VERY LONG item! I have enough length to dress the cable out of the way while shooting or reach a cart with a different capture device. This is a product that will not let you down.
