Copper clad steel is a low-cost, low-quality material. Solid copper would be a few cents more expensive, but it would be far superior.
25 meters if it's a standard wire/hdmi cable. If it's a powered cable, it can reach distances of more than 100 meters without deterioration.
I'm not sure what the'ss' stands for, but it's a two-part sentence. lead RCA connector coax (i.e. shielded) cable with gold-plated connectors For me, it's perfect. My previous cable was a low-cost model, and my sub would frequently turn off. This is not a problem for me.
It's packaged in a brown cardboard box that measures approximately 7" x 7" x 3". Because I no longer have the box, I was unable to measure it.

The cable itself isn't particularly stiff; For a cable of this thickness, it is surprisingly flexible. This isn't always a bad thing, though. It's merely a point of view. The Pros: br>br>The Pros: br>br>The Pros: br>b br>Both ends have a nice, firm connection. It does an excellent job of transmitting the signal from my receiver to my powered subwoofer. br>It works perfectly when there are a lot of bass notes passing through the cable. br>br>The bad: br>There is a lot of interference picked up by the cable. It isn't bad enough that it can pick up radio stations. I've had worse cables that have performed admirably, but there is a lot of static during quiet scenes in movies, and especially when there is no bass as I browse Netflix or Hulu for something to watch. It gets to the point where I have to manually turn the sub off on occasion. The static noise goes away if I hold the cable up in the air and as far away from the other connections in the back of the receiver as possible. This cable appears to be an excellent way to ruin a good sub. br>br>Do yourself a favor and switch to another cable.
br>br>A garbage 15' cable costs $20 at the big box store. That's not a joke. There's one that costs more than $200. (I promise, as an electrical engineer, you won't hear a difference for all the cable claims to do)br>br>This is a no-nonsense solution that's shielded enough to reject normal EMI and built well enough to last a long time; the gold plated contacts are a nice touch at this price. If your sub is right next to your amp, use the junk cables that came with that VCR you bought in 1996; you won't hear a difference. You'll need something with low impedance and high shielding for a run longer than 30 feet - and it does a fantastic job without costing a fortune.
If you're working with cables, make sure you understand what a conductor is. Copper clad steel is used in the construction of these and other well-known brands. Which isn't as good as oxygen-free copper when it comes to conductivity. They'll probably work fine, but the longer the cable is in use, the worse they'll be. Plus, why not have the better conductor no matter how far away? "Copper Clad Steel (CCS) is a composite conductor material made up of a low carbon steel core encased in copper. The copper in the conductor provides electrical conductivity, while the steel adds strength. The most common grade of CCS used for electrical conductors has a nominal 40% IACS electrical conductivity of IACS electrical conductivity of IACS electrical conductivity of IACS electrical conductivity of I CCS is a good choice for applications that require a lot of strength and medium conductivity. Because high frequency currents travel primarily through a conductor's outer skin, Copper Clad Steel is also well suited for high frequency signal applications. fiskalloy.
I misplaced one of the connectors while stringing it through the floor, and I was having trouble receiving signal. I cut the end off and replaced it, thinking it was my fault (which it most likely was). I discovered conductors that appear to be made of aluminum. Even when combined with less expensive metals, copper retains its appearance. br>br>I gave it two stars because it's inexpensive and will most likely do the job.
It's been working great; I'm not sure why anyone would want to spend more money on cables. The build quality is excellent, and if you use it for home entertainment, it will remain hidden for the majority of its life. Definitely a great Amazon product. Don't squander your cash on anything else.
These are extremely cheap, and not in a good way. br>br>I was suspicious of their lightness, so I wasn't surprised when they both snapped as I was pulling them around a corner (gently, mind you). I'm not returning them because the incident was my fault, but
. Now that I can see inside them, I can see that the core is almost entirely made of metal, and the shielding is almost non-existent. At this length, the signal quality would be extremely poor, and wires running with them would crosstalk horribly. br>br>Do not make a purchase.
br>After some research and advice from other buyers, I decided to take the plunge and purchase two. br>I had a Vizio 5 in my set-up. 1 surround sound system with a sound bar (3 speakers), as well as a powered subwoofer two satellite speakers, a woofer, and a subwoofer The problem was that one of my speaker leads, near the male pun, had broken off during multiple furniture moves, resulting in no surround sound. Not from that particular speaker, at the very least. br>These appeared to be well-made and reasonably priced. Yes, it was a close fit, but they made it work. Both speakers and the powered subwoofer are connected to the amplifier. woofer. After that, I went over everything again. I tested it out by connecting the woofer to the front soundbar. I have 5 and all of the TV, audio CD, and DVD movies came through crystal clear. After 2, it's back to 1 surround sound. 5 for a long period of time These speaker/sub-woofer combos are highly recommended by me for men. If you want a good, crisp sound and your equipment is in need of an upgrade, woofer leads are the way to go. Here are some photos of my setup. br>Highly recommended and well worth the price. I hope this information is useful.
