The iPhone charger adapter is the tiniest item on the list. It's possible to connect it to the micro-controller. Charge your iPhone 5,6,7 with a USB cable, which is more convenient for you. I hope this has been of assistance.
The 2000mAh rechargeable battery in the radio provides up to 19 hours of radio time (depending on volume) after it has been fully charged. I hope this has been of assistance.
The solar panel will charge the built-in battery, which will then be used to maintain the battery. As a result, this solar panel serves as the device's primary power source.
This radio cannot be programmed to only receive tornado alerts. It can receive seven NOAA weather channels, allowing you to get the most up-to-date weather information in your area.

I tucked it away in a drawer, ready to use the next time something unexpected happened. On January 22, 2017, our area was hit by high winds, rain, and tornado warnings. We took the device out of the drawer and started configuring it. Everything worked except the radio, which was a bummer. We followed the instructions and tried every possible option, but the radio remained unresponsive. We're unable to return it now that it's been several months since it was purchased. I emailed the supplier (info@zh-online. com) because I couldn't return it through Amazon's website. meding. com) and explained my situation, which was listed on the instruction sheet. They were quick to respond and sent me a replacement right away. This is an excellent choice. All of the radio bands are now working properly, as are the lighting effects, and I'm very happy. Every now and then, a defective part is sent out with any electronic device, and I was blown away by how quickly the supplier acknowledged my complaint and corrected the problem, despite the fact that it had been several months since the date of purchase.
This item requires three triple AAA batteries, which are not included. It appeals to my tastes. The fact that it runs on three triple AAA batteries is a nice touch. Charging of NiCad batteries via USB is also available. In addition, solar and crank power are available. Better quality and size than some of the other Amazon models. Last week, we had a storm and a power outage, so this will come in handy the next time. The Weather Band is pretty boring until a storm hits, but it's useful when you need it. The adjustable falshlight and reading light are a nice addition. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> Hurricane Matthew is on its way! For the past five days, there has been no power. It was a lifesaver to have this radio on hand.
For a small radio, it picks up AM and FM quite well. The NOAA weather channel is also crisp and clear. It's a flashlight that can be adjusted, sends out an SOS signal, and has a very loud panic alarm. Behind the solar panel is a reader's light. It has the ability to charge your phone. It's also a very attractive radio. It has a very gentle feel to it. This item is extremely well-made. THIS RADIO IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT TO ME! I'm so happy with it that I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a low-cost emergency radio that can handle all of these tasks and more! There aren't enough positive words to describe this.
From opening weekend to last weekend, we went once a week on average. As a result, I've gone through four car batteries and alternators in the last eight years. "Hey, maybe you should get a radio instead of driving," the voice of reason said, whispering in my ear. Fantastic! I didn't find one until I went on a months-long hunt for one. No matter how hard I looked for boom boxes or portable music players, they all required "D" batteries, which I was not willing to deal with. Other types were discovered through related searches. Sports radios had the right battery size, but they appeared to be too small for movie sound? I knew the sound would be right because I have one in my garage, and they also had the right size battery, so what's stopping me? Is it really necessary for me to deal with yet another device that requires batteries on a weekly or even biweekly basis, given my usage? So, month after month, I peek in to see if anything piques my interest, until this little guy appears one week. Right batteries, speakers, and solar power - oh my! scrumptious hand crank - incredibly sweet br>Fast forward to the first attempt, where solar charging had been going on all week at the drive in. Turn it on and the sound is fantastic; I was able to get through two movies with no problems. Second week, we arrive and it does not turn on, no no no! I realize it was already turned on, "sorry mom, I just wanted to see how it worked," says my youngest; it's fine honey, we'll just have to manually crank it (I had forgotten to bring extra batteries). So we crank for 30 minutes and then pass out as we get tired. It worked well enough to get almost halfway through the first film before it died. The sound gradually fades away. However, while we were watching, I was able to crank it up and it worked perfectly.
It was a great product, but after one trip outside, the frequency number piece of plastic warped and began to peel away from the product due to the sun! This isn't acceptable because it's solar-powered. Everything else was in working order.
I wanted a radio that charged during the day and played at night. Not in the least. It plays on the solar battery for about 20 minutes, sometimes less, after charging for over ten hours in the Arizona sun. When using AAA batteries, it may last a couple of hours before the batteries die. Furthermore, I have no access to any weather stations. Very let down.
I was fortunate enough not to lose power or communication as a Hurricane Irma survivor in SW Florida. I give it 5 stars because it made me feel safe. I kept it by my side as I awaited the storm, knowing that in most cases, it would allow me to cope with power outages and communication, at least temporarily. I put each of its features to the test, and they all work as expected. I appreciate being able to charge the battery with a solar panel, especially since many of my neighbors are still without power after eight days. Basic instructions are included.
