Questions & Answers

Hello, Yes, this weather radio has an alert function; to set the NOAA weather alert, please follow the steps below.br>(1) Turn on the emergency radio by pressing the power button long enough. (2) Press the ""AL"" button to activate the alert function, and set the band selector to WB to change the weather band to your local weather station. br>(3) If the National Weather Service issues a severe weather advisory, the radio will automatically sound an alert.br> If the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration does not issue a weather alert, our weather radio will remain silent or broadcast the weather, as is customary.

Is the sos sound loud enough to draw attention to me when I'm in danger?

This emergency radio does, in fact, have a very loud volume. At first, I'm a little nervous because it's difficult to believe that such a small radio can produce such a loud sound.

When fully charged and a new set of aaa batteries are used in noaa alert mode, how long should the batteries last?

NOAA alert mode is something I'm not familiar with. The radio can play for up to 20 minutes, according to the instruction booklet. When the radio is fully charged, it will last for 22 hours (at medium volume).

What factory did this come from?

Made in China is written on the label.

It's good, but it has the potential to be great
4/5

For the price, this emergency radio is adequate, but it could be so much more. br>The large LED screen appeals to me. But the charging cable is a Micro USB cable, which makes it a lot easier to read and adjust. br> The USB-C port is now found on almost every Android phone. C cables. Apple products do not come with any cables. We needed to place an order for USB flash drives. In case we needed to charge our phones in an emergency, we had C cables on hand. br>The 2000mAh Power Bank is the next item on the list. It's fine, but newer emergency radios now come with a 4000mAh Power Bank. One phone can be charged with a capacity of 2000mAh. The Solar Charging on top of the radio is the next step. Almost all emergency radios now have a flip-up solar panel that can be adjusted to provide more direct sunlight for charging.

They aren't the tiniest, but they do have a few extra features

I've had it for a few weeks and have been putting it through its paces with my other gear. It's still going strong, despite the fact that it's been a while For more information, see my video review, which includes a side-by-side comparison. side by side with the Eton Microlink FR160, of which I own several. The sound quality is exceptional for a small radio
5/5

I needed something to keep in my RV in case of an emergency. I already had a Midland er210, which is a good emergency radio, but the sound quality is so poor that after a minute or two, it becomes irritating. In every way, this radio is identical to the er210, except for the sound quality, which is, well, adequate. Surprisingly, for a radio the size of the er210, it performs admirably. The solar panel is capable of producing a significant amount of electricity. It's simple to turn the crank. The light is designed to be used as a reading light or as an area light. Spot is provided by the er210. When the radios are plugged in, I notice that reception on the er210 is unaffected, but reception on the Aiworth is severely hampered, and the antenna must be moved to an upright position to get it away from the radio's body. The reception on both radios is excellent.

This is a fantastic crank radio for emergencies, as well as backpacking and camping
5/5

We've been trying to stockpile supplies for our family's emergency kit. My husband suggested that we get an emergency radio to put in there, which we can also use when backpacking, as we plan to go off the grid for a week next spring. This one, which I found on Amazon, has all of the bells and whistles. That's exactly what we needed! HOORAY! Not only is solar energy used to power the radio. You can crank up battery power with a hand crank. A USB cable or AAA batteries can be used to charge the radio. There are so many possibilities! This emergency radio comes with a flashlight, a reading lamp (which can also be used as an emergency light because it flashes), and a compass. The best feature is that it also functions as a power bank, allowing me to use it to charge my phone in an emergency. That's the best you can hope for! We'll be able to take this with us on our backpacking or camping trips. This is a fantastic product that is necessary for emergency situations and backpacking. This is something that I would strongly recommend to any family!.

This amazing radio has a lithium rechargeable battery inside that charges automatically when it is exposed to sunlight (the red battery LED will light up when it is charging)
5/5

It can even be powered by AAA batteries. Even the cranks at the back can be used to charge in an emergency. The radio has AM/FM/SW bands, and you can search for channels by pressing and holding the volume button. A high-intensity flashlight is included. When you're out in the woods, this is an excellent companion!.

Preparing, emergency preparedness, weather alerts, and outdoor activities are the best uses for this item
5/5

For FM radio, it's small and has a great sound. In my area, there is clear sound for one NOAA weather channel and a few AM public radio stations. The pickup on the digital tuner is excellent. There is a lot of light. I like having emergency devices that I can use on a daily basis so that I don't forget about them when the time comes. Hand cranks, solar chargers, and AAA batteries are all viable options in an emergency. The USB micro plug 5v output on the hand crank dynamo can also be used to charge small devices in an emergency. Although it may be necessary to crank for 30 minutes at 60 rpm to get 15 minutes of talk time, it is still useful to have in an emergency. If you're cranking for an extended period of time, you should secure it somewhere so you don't have to hold it with your other hand, which makes it much easier to crank.

The radio and flashlight are the only things it's good for! I WOULD NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT! 🤯😡
3/5

Unless you're looking for a radio or a flashlight, this item is useless, useless, useless, useless, useless, useless, useless, useless, useless, useless, useless, useless, useless, useless, useless, useless, useless, useless, useless, useless, useless, useless, useless, useless, useless, useless, useless, useless, useless, useless, useless, useless, useless, useless, useless, useless, useless, useless It WON'T CHARGE a NORMAL PHONE unless the stupid product is completely charged and then it only brought the phone to 5% battery life and that’s being plugged all night I tried four different types and brands of cables with various cell phones, and yes, this thing is completely useless unless you only need a flashlight and a radio. It also appears that it does not stay charged all the way through. VALUE FOR MONEY IS ZERO! I would not advise anyone to use it. RETURNED WITHOUT A DOUBT!.

Review
3/5

Just got the product, and I'm a little concerned that they sent me a card that said, "Thank you for purchasing Aiworth DIGITAL VOICE RECORDER. " " I didn't invest in a voice recorder. I bought a radio. The product is of poor quality. After a full charge, there are almost no radio stations coming in, and the two that do aren't clear and interrupt every other word. Sos makes a lot of noise while working. It is possible to use the flashlight. I have yet to use it to charge my phone. Radio, on the other hand, is not very good.
