The latest model is MRXJ2AM/A. There is a second generation AirPod, but it does not bear the "AirPod" term. Those are the same model numbers for this particular item, so it fits.
After using it for 10-15 minutes, my ears were burning, and when I got home, I noticed that I had bleeding open wounds on my ears where the airpods rest. I am just glad the injury wasn't more serious. While I washed the area, the pain persisted for more than 6 hours.
Today I received my order since I ordered them the first day they were available. It was easy to set up, but after a minute or so of playing, the audio started stuttering and distortion became evident. When I charged them up and reconnected them, it did worse than before, so I thought maybe it was just a glitch since they are only 75% charged. In my experience with Apple support, I spoke with two women who were incredibly slow and the antithesis of smart. As for the second worker, who was a supervisor but whose qualifications weren't clear as she was just as inept and unhelpful as her subordinate, I learned she was a supervisor. Mostly occurs when switching apps, causing it to slow down and speed up at random. Despite the fact that I have another pair of wireless headphones, Amazon Music works fine with them. There must just be a problem with My Apple Music subscription does not work with this app, but it does work perfectly with the iTunes Store. Everything worked great! It's always good to have a brand new phone in the box, almost fully charged, and everything is.
