Questions & Answers

What is the difference between the HD558 and these?

These are both available to me. There are two main reasons why the SHP 9500 sounds brighter and more forward Especially in the back, there are more open spaces, and the drivers sit closer to you. It is more neutral sounding than the Sennheiser Unless you do the "mod" (removing a piece of tape inside) it may sound muffled to some. My name is Doug. It is common for someone who wears a small size hat to consider the size of the Phillips due to its large opening. A Sennheiser cable or plug is usually sized for a Home stereo and is a Euro-style type. It is mostly an I-phone that I use for listening Because I needed to replace the cable, I had to replace the stock one. $22 is the cost of the I'm glad I took the risk. Phillips' long but replaceable cable is ideal for use with this device. The cable was too long for my iPod I replaced it with a much shorter one as I mainly use my iPod for portability and convenience. I picked up this 3 m monster cable for twenty-five dollars. In order for both headphones to "bloom", I played them for 100 hours. My ear can cope with their differing timbres and I'm able to listen to them for prolonged periods of time. It is wonderful to experience the tranquillity of long, solitary hikes, and be able to hear the ambient sounds around me as I hike It's just a matter of amplification. The music is soft enough for me to play them indoors. Now that you know who I am, you can see that I don't listen critically to music, and I use the headphones whenever and wherever I want to listen to music. It is best to rely on experts when it comes to listening critically to others. The headphones I use go with a Fiio 7 portable amplifier. Combining these two elements is a winning strategy. They both sound great on an iPod without any boost, but if you want a bit more presence make sure you turn The ears of each of us are different. It is no problem for me to use EQ as well. Basically, what I would like to say is My routine includes using the Phillips if I catch a cold and sneezing results in some swelling in my ears. Wishing you the best of luck!

What are the benefits of these devices, say on a school bus, to block out noise from conversations and music?

You can make the music loud enough such that no one can hear each other if you crank up the volume enough.

Is anyone able to compare these headphones with Grado's? The SR-60s are better than mine, but I wasn't sure if these are. ?

Listen to these Philips SHP 9500 headphones twice as well as the Grado SR-95/95. During the 1960s. Grado headphones, in my opinion, have a harsh sound stage. The Philips headphones with their unbelievably good soundstage are unlike any headphone I have ever heard. A better set of headphones under $500 is hard to find. The Philips SHP9500 is approximately $200 less than the SHP9500.

Now, I assure you that these are NOT SHP9500 takes 2 and 3. They are like a warm, slightly more clampy and a little heavier brother to the SHP9500. Those with a preference for the original 9500 do well with these "updates" to the design and fitment of the 9500. But to call them 9600 is false as they don't sound anything like 9500. The 9500 pads on these headphones set them apart from all other headphone series. While I enjoy them, they are quite similar to the Philips X2HR but not quite as good as the former. You can expect the sound to be no better than 9500, however. It is unfortunate that they are named in an incorrect manner.

It's one of the best full-length movies There are several options on the market for open headphones under $100
5/5

I look forward to their availability once they are. The pros are The cost is low and the build quality is good The sound is excellent The atmosphere is cool and open Pads that provide comfort and breathability for the back * Removable cord* * Con A non-profit organization Ear pads that can be replaced In addition to owning the Philips SHP9500, I also own several other headphones which are more expensive than this one. There are a number of contenders, but the closest in many ways to the SHP9500 is likely the Audio Technica ATH-M820. The TAD500 is also something that I highly regard. When you add the venerable Sennheiser HD 518, I evaluate these three headphones as being the best full-range headphones I have ever owned Under $100 are available on the market for open headphones with the size of a palm. The strengths and weaknesses of each of these models are unique. Still, I would have to say that my favorite is the SHP9500 for a variety of My first impression of the SHP9500 is that it is one of the most comfortable laptops I have ever used Buying headphones at any price does not mean ignoring comfort. When purchasing headphones, you want to make sure that they are comfortable. In my opinion (and perhaps in many others' also), it is THE most important element to consider if you are wearing them for at least an hour. Even for 15 minutes the sound from some headphones can be unbearable. How can a wearable device like the SHP9500 be so comfortable? Their weight is light for full-size You need to adjust) the headband, have less clamping force, and most importantly, *open the ear to allow heat to escape. Open headphones allow your ears to breathe better, helping to keep the temperature down. This is probably the most important, yet least appreciated, reason why you should use them for extended periods of time. This open headphone even allows the ear pads to breathe, something that is not present in every open headphone. As a result of such excessive openness, some of its benefits are sacrificed Although sub-bass performance is good, I will trade it any day (and will advise others to trade it) Featuring midrange and a touch of bass, the SHP9500 has a medium sonic character. My assessment is that the sounds are primarily treble but they extend nicely to bass frequencies as well. An uneven and emphasized treble can be heard in this track. You will probably be pleased if you are an admirer of classical music. You don't want to listen to this if you're a bass head. When compared to more expensive, sonically better-designed headphones like Sennheiser HD 600, HD 650, or Sony MDR-VX840 I would say that the SHP9500 is a vastly improved product Although the SHP9500 is a step below them in terms of pure sonic balance (my favorite is the MA900, simply because it offers outstanding comfort), I would rate it above them in terms of overall design. Although, I would not recommend those more expensive products, which are, I think, somewhat above the norm for people who are listening to classical music for the first time, unless you are an extremely discerning listener (as I am, unfortunately). The majority of people can grasp the concept of range (apart from As a devoted enthusiast without the common sense to make sense of it, here is my experience.
These headphones are also very reliable to use with a digital piano. For my son's piano practice, I bought these. Why the best headphones for them? As mentioned above, there are two main reasons The comfort of playing a digital piano is important since long sessions of practice require extended time at the instrument. In addition, the support provided by the SHP9500's response to low and high frequencies is suitable for this application- It's hard to find closed-back headphones under $100, except for a couple of niche brands It's a good balance between the back and front headphones. The third factor is that most digital pianos have high output impedance headphone jacks. When headphones are used in this way, a flat impedance is necessary in order to prevent the headphones' frequency response from modulating. We can satisfy this requirement with the SHP9500. As a final point, the headphones must be sensitive enough to generate sufficient volume from digital pianos. Don't let these ah-mazing shoes pass you by! So, get them while they last! It is a drawback of this design that the ear pad can not be removed, but I think the low price can easily make up for this. The fact was obvious to me even when I purchased the product. It may be different for you, but in my experience, replacement pads are not necessary. Meanwhile, one of the strongest points of the SHP9500 is that you can replace its chord with any The most common and cheapest type of audio cable today is the 5mm stereo male to male cable. There is a high incidence of cable problems when using headphones. As a result, it can be a nice feature to have.

If you do not want to spend a lot on the SHP9500's audio balance, here is a way you can improve it. If you use them on a PC or a smartphone, they work better. This problem can be solved by using digital equalization (EQ). We are here to help you! In this age of highly reliable, digital signal processing, it is not a bad idea to use EQ. The use of EQ in properly applied situations has no detrimental effect on sound. You can only use parametric EQ apps to apply the EQ setting for the SHP9500 specified below. You can use Equalizer APO (on a PC), and Electri-shots for the PC It also includes Q (on PC and through a VST wrapper), EasyQ (on PC and through a VST wrapper), Rockbox (on some MP3 players, Audioforge Equalizer (on iOS), and Acudio (on iOS) The custom EQ mode), Capriccio (both iOS and Android), and Onkyo HF Player (both iOS and Android) are all excellent options. Equalizer APO is highly recommended if you are using a PC as a source. In addition to YouTube materials, it applies equalization to system audio, so that you may enjoy all contents with equalized sound. EQ is based on three parameters, including the following The Fc (center frequency), Gain, and BW (bandwidth) parameters. The third parameter is represented by Q and BW, which are the same parameter but on different scales, so please make sure you enter the right values. If you are using Equalizer APO or Rockbox Equalizer, enter Q values. If you use Q, EasyQ, or Acudio (custom mode), enter BW values if you use Capriccio, enter 12 times the BW values if you use Onkyo HF player, read on. This is not a good purchase
3/5

It has increased bass, muted highs, and pushed back the midrange. How can it be twice as expensive as the 9500 regularly drops In what state of mind was Philips? In the SHP9500s, the high frequencies of the sound were a bit grainy and on 9600s they tuned out the high frequencies. As the SHP9500s lacked bass, they boosted the bass so hard that it bled into the mids, then they tuned down the mids to offset that (US & UK? )

Build quality, materials, and clamps are all pretty similar. I got used to them equally in practice, even though they are slightly different. My only real concern was that the 9600s were a little rougher, but not to a significant degree. a bit ambivalent about the 9500s, but there are few decent options for open backs for under $100, so they're still one of the best choices. I don't even think the 9600s are comparable to the 9500s, even if they were the same price.

I listened to so many great things about these headphones over the past year
5/5

It's great to hear great sound at such a good price. On YouTube, I have seen them reviewed many times. Almost no one I know has bad things to say In spite of this, the items could not be purchased for the longest time since they were not readily It seemed like they were excessively priced for the ones they had. They became available on Amazon in March for a nice price. I hopped on it immediately. What does the hype about them actually mean now that I own them? The design/features include In the SHP9500, there are two large drivers. Each driver measures 50mm in diameter. It has an outstanding frequency response of 12 Hz There is a gap of 1,500 Hz in Hi-Fi that is 35,000 Hz Territories under the control of the Res. Despite this, they still sound fantastic. There are 32 ohms in the impedance. In addition, the number of ohms the PS4 controller supports with the volume at maximum is low enough to drive your headphones while using high-quality headphones. An amp can produce only 200mW of power, so users will need to be careful when using it. There is no need for a DAC, which can be used as an add-on. As a result, the sound will be much better and a lot louder. My opinion is that the design of the SHP9500 is really cool. Many people think it looks cheap, and in a way it does. In spite of this, they have a stylish look. An aluminum headband, enclosed in a matte black plastic case, fits securely in your head. There is a glossy-finish at the top of the headband A black Philips insignia adorns the top. On each of the three sides of the headband there is a notch and a hole with a number showing the level to which the headband can be adjusted. In addition to the headband, the cushion is made of three materials breathable, dual-direction, and durable This headband is made of layered, cloth fabric. On the bottom, inside the right and left sides, I can see a plastic tag with R and L on the sides of the headband. This is the part of the design that I love the most. The ear cups are As well as that, the speakers are made from In each speaker, the letters R and L in white are painted on the corresponding sides. My personal opinion is that the design is unique and beautiful. In this case, the drivers are visible due to the transparency of the speakers. You may find these ear cushions over-sized It describes a Made from the same material, these earphones are breathable and double-layered A cloth fabric that is layered. * BASSETTE/MIDDLE The bass/sub-bass The bass is A bass is present. It shocks me to hear that boom when I play a game that involves explosions. In spite of that, the bass overall is inconsistent. In light of the above, I would like to commend Neither bass nor bassoon are musical instruments It is real. There was very little subwoofer sound to be heard - Certain games, which contained explosions, made me feel a rumble when I was playing. ANALYSIS OF HIGHS Headphones with a bright sound quality, the SHP9500. I find the sound to be crystal clear. When the treble is high, there can be some graininess. In spite of this, there are results and ears that differ. One prime example would be Call Of Duty Black Ops 4, which has a thematic soundtrack with It is loud and clear when a gunshot is fired. A loud, thumping sound occurs each time a bullet hits and is followed by a loud, "squish", when a kill is scored. With the volume high while listening to this sound, I have found that it can be uncomfortable to hear. It is interesting to hear female voices at their highest pitch. One of the other things I enjoyed was hearing female voices in Call Of Duty Black Ops 4. I am very pleased to hear Battery's lines in her voice. The Cluster Grenade has been fired! Enjoy the blast! I heard them say "Splash!". This request has been dropped. """ "Dropped!" Boom! " "All talk!" "All right!" say the boomers. The doggone would be a doggone! Those are some of my favorite lines in her voice. In one instance, Battery filled an open container with water A map of Summit with an ended bay. When the battery was outside the bay, it made a voice call. Putting her foot into the bay, she suddenly increased the volume of her voice. Additionally, there was an echo of Battery's voice. Battery's voice was absolutely authentic, and it was a bit unsettling. example showed how a transition from middle to high sounds can be achieved. Imagery/Soundstage With its good imaging, the SHP9500 is an excellent choice. A very good job is done with directional sounds. That being said, I tested the performance of the SHP9500 while playing Call Of Duty Black Ops 4, also known as Black Ops In my opinion, the best map to showcase the performance of the best countries is the "Occupation" map, which narrowly follows in second place The quarter. It was clear to me what was going on and what the direction was, where the action was taking place on the map, whether it was dialogue, gunshots, As well as footsteps, there were also echoes. As you get closer to the sounds from a different direction, the sound seems to magnify. Each time my character turns in one direction, for instance, the sound gets increasingly louder in that direction, but in the opposite direction, where the scene was quite different. It has a great soundstage. There are no restrictions on who can attend It is expected that they would come back. This incredible sound quality is made even better by the openness and airiness of the SHP9500. There is a lot of space between people. The court was very open when I played the match. It is a map called "Gustav Cannon. ". At some distance on the map, I could hear very clearly sounds coming from across the map. distant sounds sounded like they were closer than they really The LOWS/MIDS are Aside from its good sensitivity, I am very impressed with the SHP9500's ability to pick up subtle sounds. I find it extremely addictive to listen to the sounds of shells hitting the ground and the sounds of shooting. While playing the game on Morocco, you will hear the other common sounds, as well as the common sounds on Morocco Play was going on, and as I was walking through the area, I could hear pottery being kicked around and clinking as it was broken. When listening to other headsets, I could barely hear this, but it is easier to hear when using My character walked through deep snow, onto the icebreaker map, and heard unbelievable crunching as they tramped through the snow. I also heard cracks in the ice and the quiet movement of water as they swam. The character I played, Battery, ran into a large open garage at one point in time A map of Summit with an ended bay. When the battery was outside, it was communicating. It then finished talking when it was inside When Battery spoke inside of that open space, his voice was echoed in the distance There were no boats left in the There was an amazing level of authenticity in the echo and it almost scared me. Please specify MIC (optional) A V-shaped mic, such as the iRiver, can be used In order to use the Moda Boom Mic Pro while online gaming, you'll need to purchase it. Prices vary from one place to another. Due to the fact that I do not possess a mod- I have not tried this At this time, I do not have an attached microphone to test, but I do know that, if one is attached, it will perform tremendously In a nutshell In general, the SHP9500 headset is a quality product. Over the past year I've heard so much about these shoes, and I wondered if they lived up to the hype. It never occurred to me that Philips would make such a great headset in my wildest dreams. The fact that these were brought back to the market and at an affordable price is a smart move. With that being said, I would advise anyone who is looking for a headset to pick these up, just in case they are not available in the future, as they were before. Truth be told, I now believe my search for the "perfect".
