Questions & Answers

Would these noise-canceling headphones be good enough to wear on a plane and avoid hearing the noise of the plane?

Those headphones don't have an electronic noise canceling system. You wear them over your ears. It is true that the cups absorb outside sound, but not enough so that they can be considered "noise canceling". Most DJ's, home studio producers, and professional studio producers use them. Such technology interferes with recordings of recordings due to electronic "noise canceling" technology.

How would these work with a big head? My head is so big that it's difficult to find headphones that fit comfortably over it. Additionally, I wear glasses, if you need me to tell you?

The soft part of these covers will push on your glasses if you wear glasses. They are pretty tight on the head, and the soft part goes over the ear. Since I find them too uncomfortable to wear with my glasses, I can't wear them with them. Rather than looking at around ear headphones, it might be better to look at on ear headphones instead. As a parting shot, my headphones have been able to be loosen a lot by bending the metal headband. If you don't mind spending $50 of your own time on that, then you might be able to get them to a comfortable "clamp" amount.

What does this mean in comparison to the current The M30 ? Are you able to use it for long periods of time without getting tired?

In light of the fact that I have yet to try the ATH-DI, I can only respond to the 2nd part of your question Compared to the M30, the M20X was (for me) extremely uncomfortable even after only a short period of time. This had to do with excessive heat build-up, which I believe was the cause of the discomfort. Pools of sweat accumulated inside the earpieces as a result of the earpieces being tilted up. Upon returning the headset within a few days, I received a refund.

How much does the carrying case cost for these headphones?

In any case, they don't come, but I suggest you purchase a case for safety reasons. * If you don't want to buy a case, buy the headphones without it. These are durable headphones, but you never know if you're going to need the case to carry them in a bag, back pack, or

This is a great value! The pros include I am - A great sound quality can be heard
5/5

Tons that are warm and rich with a balanced overall sound. I am - I'm impressed with how well it's made. A good seal around the ears - The size can be adjusted easily*br The fact that it comes with an adapter for various uses is awesome. It clicks in for a solid hold. Cons I am - The spot to sit it was not easy to find as I had to move it quite a bit. Everything was fine as soon as I found it. I have no idea if I could wear it for hours on end, day after day. Let me know once I've had a chance to try it out. The head size I have for a woman is on the average side to the smaller side. Otherwise, the fit was good, it was just the strength of the spring of the headband that was a bit too I am - When the instructions were included, it talked about how to fold it, and I found it a bit confusing. It was unclear in the diagram which model was referring to as that bit of the diagram referred to the next model up and this model did not fold. Is this something I'd buy In short, yes.

'Hi' to you for the first time Comparison of the top "Fi" Headphones to other headphone brands
4/5

DON'T DIE WITHOUT AN UPDATE OR A QUALITY BUILD It's been exactly a year since I wrote this, but damned if I don't. The fact that I checked my reviews today was pure luck. Anyhow, I just want to point out the quality of the build. Even after a year, the M20x I bought a year ago are still going strong, and I use them constantly even when I am not on the There are no visible signs of damage to the cable, however the plug is worn off (this is normal after extensive use), and the plastic does not appear to have been damaged. I would be able to make this thing look totally new if I cleaned it thoroughly. In spite of that, there is one thing that is not in perfect condition, which is I began to notice after some time that the earcups were beginning to feel increasingly hard. In the interest of sanity, I looked at my dad's m50xs to tell if they were still soft they were (he doesn't use them very often After checking it out, it appears that the fake rubber is made of During use, the leather used by Audio Technica in their earcups slowly deteriorates by becoming harder and cracking as a result of Continual exposure to body oils caused this reaction (which is why my dad's pair of shoes is still so It's a good thing that these can be replaced, but they cost $25 per pair, which is expensive. In order to put that into consideration, I bought these headphones for $30 during a sale. Also, it is possible that they use cheaper ear cups in the M20xs, which would not be surprising. If that is the case, then any replacement earcups for the M50xs would likely be considered a reward. The headband on the m20xs is even worse. Unlike the earcups on the m50xs, which are made of a higher quality rubber, the headband on the m20xs is made with the same material as the earcups. A lost item cannot be replaced. I don't think the headband will get damaged from cracking since it doesn't cushion, I can still see some dents on mine that don't seem to I still recommend these headphones as they remain my favorite general purpose headphones, but other than that, you cannot go wrong. verge of replacing the earpieces, but I am debating whether to do so. The M40XS may be a better choice if it should break at some point because of the shorter cable options, better build quality/materials, and improved After two years, I'll test the waters and see what happens with A REVIEW OF As a result, I have not been wealthy enough to own a nice It's been fascinating to hear how Audio-Technica continues to be praised Since I was looking for more affordable options, I went with a pair of monitors by Technica the ATH-2726 Model 20x. A pair of their M40x or 50x is owned by my father, but I cannot touch them, per se. I can't tell you which ones they are, so I can't say. In perspective and for comparison, I used the Sol-Ear Solo2 and Jaybird Aviator for most of my listening before these. Right now I'm using a Logitech G230 gaming headset on my desktop, which plays Republic v8 tracks. Due to the impressive range in pitch in this song, I tested it between these headphones and Ocean Man by Ween. As well, I distinctly remember the song from the day I did this, so listening to it again felt a bit nostalgic. The sound quality is as follows I felt that the first thing I noticed with these headphones was that the bass was a lot less than I expected. Having this problem is actually very good because it allowed me to focus on the other parts of the song, such as guitar and percussion, which became more vibrant. My other headphones had a little lag in the mid-range and high-range of the song, but this one carried the song exceptionally well. had much more bass than the rest of my speakers, but the rest of the frequencies seemed to be filtered out. As I mentioned earlier, it's mostly the same story with my G230s, except the highs are better than the lows. Due to this realization, I finally figured out what was causing me to have trouble hearing footsteps in Counter Strike Global Offensive. Consequently, I decided to buy another pair of the M20x as well as a microphone for my desktop. In my experience, the M20x only has one real issue, which is that I cannot hear bass drums very well if they aren't mixed loud enough, which is a real disappointment for me, since I find percussion to be one of the most important components of music. Although the bass seems to be just a tad weaker than it should be, these headphones are still amazing in this range. It would be okay if they might boost it up a teeny bit. Although not deserving of a star off, especially for the price. There is also the fact that these headphones are slightly higher in impedance than normal, so I have to turn my phone volume nearly all the way up to hear anything acceptable. There will probably be some distortion in some songs, but it won't be a problem. Furthermore, I use a separate Creative Zen audio player to listen to my CD rips, which is not nearly as loud as my phone, so it makes little sense to use it. Additionally, they appear unwilling to plug into my phone when I've got the case on, which means that I have to jam it in the jack and hope it won't pop Along with this, there is also one other problem with my audio jack, which is they always believe I am using an inline mic unless I unplug and re-plug the cable I hope they perceive them as regular headphones when I plug in. Alternatively, if it does not, then bumping the cord may cause Google to detect your voice, which is very annoying, and may cause Google to randomly pause or play your As a clarification, this is not an issue with the plug but with my PHONE. They still have problems being plugged into a phone when the case is on, but it is more of a me issue. It would be simpler to fix the problem if the end coned and the adapter it came with were internally coned. *Broadly speaking, BUILD Basically, one of the major reasons I bought a G230 was because of its strong construction, and the fact that I can drop it off of my desk numerous times without damaging it. For the Sols, whose headband and hard but not brittle plastic were designed to bear the weight of a tank, the same goes. Although the M20x is not topped with plastic, it seems like it needs a bit more care with the headband, since it is not plastic-covered. Since the Sols can handle just about anything, I usually just throw it into my backpack every day. There will need to be extra care to not tear up the foam on the headband. I tried buying a similar pair, but that model was sold out.

Could have made it back on time if I'd made it
3/5

It is inexpensive. Because of the faster delivery time and the lower price, I chose these. It would have been nice if I had made it back on time. Then I used them on an outdoor music gig. I first tried them in my studio, and then I used them on stage. The headphones worked well for the gig, which they were purchased for, but I would never use them in the studio or elsewhere. The triple-valued scale Upon listening to the master, you heard piercing tones (as if they were displaced), the middles weren't rich or deep, etc I found this sound to be overly saturated and offensively imbalanced, with a non-existent bass line A shallow depth renders an organism nonexistent. Heavy bass is not my cup of tea, but it is necessary along with other elements in a song. Listening to familiar music, we notice that the bassline simply disappears at some The midpoint of a movie is where you start to notice It was offensive to hear her tone. However, the volume was not high enough to require me to remove the ear piece. A lot of treble tones were present, and they seemed to be displacing everyone from the mix. Although I had hoped for better sound quality for this modest price, I was only disappointed with the less than good sounding unit It is better- A decent sound is what I hear. Besides that, the physical product is a nice quality, soft to the touch, comfortable to wear, and easily stored.

There's nothing to worry about
3/5

(For my large dome) It's a good fit. It is great to have such a long and heavy cable. Despite this, I have found some aspects to be seriously lacking in terms of power delivery. It isn't possible to get any volume higher than an OK level when using the speakers with a PC stereo when plugged into a distribution/control feature of the stereo (the little volume control and jack that come with I bought one Logitech speaker). Furthermore, the battery power and volume are inferior to that of a cell phone. That's not true! The headphones work best if you plug them into an audio interface that supports the headset. Overall, I am disappointed with the product, but I'm also not using them as they were intended. On a laptop or PC, using them as headphones for an amp when you play guitar is not the greatest experience, but they work well as headsets for playing games and watching movies. Please be aware of the power limitations and the purposes for which this power will be used. In the event they had a battery inside, I'd give them 5 stars This product is rated five stars because of its improvement in amplification at low power usage.

You can't go wrong with these In the past 7 years, I've used Sony headphones, and for the most part had no trouble with them
5/5

I mainly used them for listening to audio files and occasionally editing them while working at my desk. The front end ports on my tower were disabled by a driver update and I could not roll them back. So I had to purchase a set with a longer cord. As well, I wanted something a bit nicer than the Sony set I was using before Here are some audio files I found A search for Technica phones turned up products with far better specifications than the Sony - for example, the cord is 3 metres long and the electronics are far more efficient. I didn't have to pay $100 for them either. They were amazing and I would recommend them to anyone. The headphones cover the entire ear and do a much better job of noise cancellation, and the sound is very good. It is a combination of music and voice. What matters is that this does not matter at all Sony phones do a much better job of transmitting than theirs. Value for your money with a great choice It is still possible to listen to music better with this set of headphones.
