I am so glad I made the switch to matte. The first time I installed it went smoothly. There were only a few bubbles that could be brushed out easily. This is a very good product. The only recommendation is to buy your own larger cloth since the one provided was meant to be used as a mouse mat.

It appears to be matte, very smooth and it reduces glare, I'm not sure why people are having to increase the brightness when I installed mine I had no issues with it appearing darker. I have 5% tinted windows, so there is not much light inside. It does not have guiding tape strips for accurate installation, however, after I used the dust absorber I used that to balance and accurately apply the screen protector as if it was guiding tape, but otherwise even the packaging is nice and everything you need is included, no concerns with bubbles.
