Questions & Answers

Is the stand held in place by a magnetic field? What is it that prevents it from exploding?

It is held in place by magnets. Furthermore, the cover closes magnetically, ensuring that the reader surface is not scratched.

I'm curious if this is 100% vegan leather because I want to engrave it but it must be 100% vegan in order to do so it must be 100% vegan in order to do ?

This is vegan leather, which means it does not contain any animal products. man- PU leather (polyurethane) is a type of "leather" that is made. It's similar to vinyl, a plasticized material that resembles leather in appearance. In products labeled as PU leather or man-made leather, there is no actual animal hide content. unless it says "bonded leather," in which case it's a mix of fake and real leather.

Can someone explain why the Paperwhite 11th generation doesn't fit well in this case, according to all the negative reviews?

My experience has been the opposite. My paperwhite 11 is the perfect size for me, and I love the way it looks, feels, and looks. No, I don't believe it's leather, but the case and kindle 11 are perfect for me.

Is the back of the 11th generation 2021 model paperwhite case magnetically secured when folded open?

Yes, the back is kept safe.

A look at an empty case
5/5

It would have been impressive if the case had arrived in two days, but the new Kindle isn't due for another two months. As a result, fit and function are unknown, at least for the time being. br>br>Now I'll tell you what I know about an empty case. It has the appearance and feel of a high-quality leather book cover with a microfiber lining. It's beautifully stitched; The cover is incredibly thin, even though it is thick enough to accommodate the hand loop and fold-out stand. Keep in mind that this isn't a thin or slim case. It's about three-quarters of a shell case, or whatever you'd like to call it. four-fifths of an inch thick, with a foam filler in place of the e-cigarette. reader, 5 1/4" wide by 7/8" long Just a nice book size, and what I prefer when reading – at least most of the time. At this price, I decided I could, and did, order a slim-line cover. I keep a shell case in my bag for when I want a different reading experience. br>br>I'm currently reading an e-book. This cover should work well in that configuration, though the cover does easily fold around to the back and the magnets snap the sides open just as tightly as they hold them closed. I read a paper book with the front and back cover nearly flat to slightly closed so as not to stress the binding, as old habits die hard, and this cover should work well in that configuration. Other magnets secure the fold-out stand in the cover and the loading flap to the back of the case (the Kindle slides in from the top and a flap slides over and between the reader and the back of the case). The card holder can hold a personal business card or something similar with contact information, making it easier for a trustworthy person to track down and return a misplaced e-mail. reader to the owner, while keeping such information hidden from an untrained eye. br>br>In the center, there is a hole- top edge (as seen in the seller's photos), near the same spot where I've noticed all the screen protectors are notched – apparently this Paperwhite was designed with something that shouldn't be covered, like a speaker or power button, but was scrapped after the size and fit information was released to the aftermarket. manufacturers of the market I'm not going to hold an aftermarket manufacturer responsible for late design changes. br>br>I'll probably update this review when my new Kindle arrives, but I'm sure other users will have filled in the blanks long before then. I hope that this information, as limited as it is, helps you decide which cover to buy for your Kindle Paperwhite in 2021.

There is one major flaw in the book
4/5

It's lovely and shimmery, but the strap isn't in the middle and can only be used with your left hand; I'm 5'7 1/2" tall and have long fingers, so trying to use the strap with my right hand is impossible. Above is a video that I have uploaded. The charge port and power button would be completely encased by the case holder if I flipped the Kindle around in it. I'd also be unable to use the stand. 3. I'd give it five stars if I could, but I'm going to go with four because I've decided to keep it.

It's a nice stand, but it's too small
3/5

I needed a cover with a stand for my new Paperwhite, and this appeared to be the perfect fit. The cover, like the stand, does its job, but it isn't the right size. Because the Kindle slides up and down in the case, the light sensor is covered, and the ambient light adjustments are disabled.

It is possible to read and knit at the same time
3/5

I enjoy knitting and reading, and this Kindle cover allows me to do both! You can either stand the cover up to read between the stitches or knit without looking if you know how to knit without looking. br>br>The convenient strap on the back is great if you're reading while relaxing, as it prevents you from dropping your Kindle, though this cover would protect your Kindle quite well. br>br>My biggest issue was that if I didn't read for a couple of days, my Kindle would lose its charge. The magnets had an effect on it, and it was counted as "on," draining the battery. Furthermore, it would occasionally stop charging when the cover was closed. br>br>As a result, I'm changing my mind and downgrading my rating.

However, I was disappointed by the outcome
3/5

Overall, I like the color and the fact that it is easy to hold. The magnet, on the other hand, is very visible from the front. It really detracts from the design.

The perfect cover for the Kindle Paperwhite
5/5

A fantastic cover for the Kindle Paperwhite. It's simple to insert your Paperwhite, and it stays put. Sleep mode works flawlessly, eliminating the need to manually turn your Paperwhite on and off. After you've finished reading, simply close the cover. When you're ready to read again, just open the cover and you'll be right where you left off. The cover is sturdy, the material is nice, and the color is a lovely pink with nice embossing. It's light and comfortable. Holding it is a breeze. I would strongly suggest it.

Even if I were left-handed, it wouldn't make a difference
3/5

Okay, so this could have been a fantastic review, but the product fell short in a number of ways.
1. I wanted the card slot because I planned to put a Tile Slim in it. However, once the Tile is inside, you won't be able to close it completely. So forget about it if you only have two cards to put in there. It won't close, so when you close it, it won't go to sleep, and when you open it, it won't wake up.
2. The elastic handle is a great idea, but it's on the wrong side of the cover; when the cover is folded back, only my left hand can reach under the elastic, making one-handed operation impossible. Because you can't turn the pages from the left side, it's best to use one hand. br>3. When all is said and done, this cover is bulky and heavy. I'm aware that my new Kindle is slightly larger, but that doesn't take into account the additional weight and thickness. There's no excuse for this, given that I've previously made my own Kindle covers. Given my limited supply, I can make lighter-weight versions in any design I want, and even use the auto-seal feature. A feature that allows you to sleep and wake up. However, doing these things takes a lot of time for me, and I don't always have the necessary materials on hand. However, I had hoped that one made by a professional would have been more effective. br>br>I can't even use an exacto knife to make it so I can put the Kindle in backwards because the sleep/wake function would stop working. Because of the severe limitations in color/design options, I can only give this product three stars, and that's pushing it. It does the job, but it isn't a particularly good product.
