I wish I had a definitive answer for you. My cat loves to wipe anything off a flat surface, but she never seemed to be interested in the iPad, which was on the end table next to my chair. My stand is on a small riser that my husband built, so it isn't actually on a table that she can use for leverage.
The screw on the upper part of the stand must be twisted to remove it. The tablet stand is very easy to assemble and extremely sturdy, with screws measuring 1 1/8" long x 1/4" in diameter.
I doubt it would slide, but it could be knocked over if you hit the keypad really hard. I don't use it for a lot of typing. I usually just start a movie or record something on it.

readers. Stretchable to fit a variety of device sizes and with a variable height that's great for video calls. While on the holder, there is enough open space underneath to plug in the charger.
I love this stand because I can adjust it to fit my iPad and use it from anywhere in the house. My iPad and its cover would not fit in a stand I previously used; This one fits the iPad with the bulky cover on it, which makes it even more attractive.
It's very simple to change the brightness level from high to low - It has a solid feel to it. Because I have arthritis in my hands and can't use something that lifts a car off the ground, I like that you can put your tablet in with little effort. This is ideal because I treasure my iPad and would never jeopardize it. This method is effective.
It's stylish and sturdy at a reasonable price; I use it to Facetime with relatives and friends all over the world, and it's a lifesaver. I bought two more to give away as well as one for myself. It's the perfect size for my iPhone 6 and iPad mini. It should also be possible to use larger tablets. I'm not kidding when I say this: It's the most effective method.
However, as I removed my phone from the stand tonight, I heard a loud *POP*, and I can only assume that the inner spring has broken. I didn't overstretch it in any way. It's supposed to work with large devices like tablets, but I was only able to use it with a phone (Note 10) and am very disappointed because a return is no longer possible.
Purchased in September. It's October 30th, and I'm 19 years old. Our iPad slid out of our hands during the first four minutes of a live video sale yesterday, and our iPad screen was shattered! It's only been used five times. We spent hundreds of dollars on this $30 piece of equipment. This is something I strongly advise against!.
I began by purchasing a less expensive product, only to discover that it was not adjustable in height. This was a little more expensive than I wanted it to be at $28, but it's super sturdy and height adjustable, which is perfect for when I need to use face time at work for interviews rather than Skype (which some people now refuse to use). When I speak with people, I no longer have to be concerned about my video being at an unflattering height or angle. Despite the fact that I overspent, I am very pleased with this purchase!.
