The reason I went with this version was that I originally purchased the bundled version This was not to my liking. Using the bundled keyboard (with charging cradle) with Surface Slim Pen was frustrating because it sits higher than the version here when it's attached to the screen. In this case, the bottom part of the screen would be blocked off at times (harder to view & difficult to use You're tapping). The Surface Slim Pen is) so the keyboard isn't as stable (wobbles when in use). It should be noted (this is a nitpick) that the only advantage with the bundled version would be a slightly better keyboard texture. I also ordered the Surface Slim Pen separately for the Seeing the benefits of both products, I highly recommend them.
Prior to the introduction of surface keyboards, they were connected by snapping in. Even though these magnets aren't connected to the electronics, they will snap in. It is necessary to monkey with the plug to make sure it is plugged It works fine once it's plugged in, and I like the night light on the keyboard.
It's excellent. It's almost as good as my Lenovo T480's. I'm really happy with it. I purchased it without a pen since I wanted a separate dock for charging. It has three levels of backlight and I like that it has three levels of brightness. As opposed to the other version with a pen, this one does not cover the Windows screen like some people have complained about. Also, it is very durable, so it will not break easily. Flexibility does not exist for me. I bought this for a great price.
Installation of a keyboard on the Microsoft Surface is probably the simplest task you will ever encounter. Unboxing the keyboard will activate the magnets that connect the keyboard to the tablet. Once the magnets align, the keyboard will be connected. Here it is, done in a jiffy! Despite its solid construction, the keyboard does not feel fragile. The keyboard typed well and there was no flex at all in it as you typed. It has been a pleasure working with this company.
Surface Pro X magnetically attaches to the case, even when it is carrying a protective cover. The keyboard was held against the case by a bungee cord when the case was.
It works well and all the keys are backlit making it a perfect match for the Surface tablet. I only gave it four stars because of its price.
The one without the Pen is more interesting to me than the one that pushes to the screen better, but I am disappointed because it is not made of Alcantara and feels heavier. As such, both keyboards exhibit a certain degree of compromise.
The tablet keyboard looks and feels great! It has a sleek design and is very clean and elegant. There is a slight pop when pressing the keys regardless of how much pressure is In general, the keyboard is quite nice, but I wish the tablet that came with it was just as good.
