Questions & Answers

Can you tell me what model number this is?

This Otterbox B77-A is available at this link The ipad 5th generation MP2F2LL is part of the 55876 series

How do I determine if this will work with the ?

If your iPad is a 5th or 6th generation, this case is perfect for you. There is no case for the iPad Air Mini, model a1475, which fits the 9.7-inch iPad Mini, but not the iPad Air Mini. Screen size of 7 inches.

Does this product have a waterproof coating?

I'm afraid it's not waterproof.

How easy is it to remove the outer cover (if it's rubber, can it be removed easily? Does my special needs child like to chew)?

This unit is covered in rubber, and doesn't come apart easily, but the port covers are small and can be chewed off by small puppies.

It is possible to use an Apple Pencil! In a nutshell, So far, I have not tried it out yet since I just received it
5/5

I have a iPad 6 and this case fits well on it. With my iPhone, I have a Otterbox and I am very happy I have used it several times as protection when my toddler threw the phone on the tile. I was worried that the Apple Pencil would not work with it on, but there were no clear answers, so I decided to write about it to let people know it works just.

The cover is awesome, but the screen protector is meh
5/5

It is well worth the purchase just for the cover. Quality components with dual layer protection. However, the screen protector attached to the screen is just okay. While it allows you to have something you can use on your screen, it's not very eye-catching when it comes to visibility. The fact that it is attached to the case, rather than clinging directly to the screen, can be a distraction. There is no question that you can spot it when you use a stylus or look for it. As I was not a fan of the separate lid and stand, I kept it in my closet. For my backpack I figured out that it is simple to fix the screen so that it does not go through my backpack. Rub away at the adhesive remnants in the screen cover and take off the stock cover. When cleaning up, avoid chemicals because they can be risky. In the next step, I applied the $10 Ankers screen protector directly to the screen and let it dry. There are wipes and a tool to eliminate bubbles included in the kit. Make it right as soon as you can, and it will pay off. This protects the screen and it fits in Otterbox just like It's a match made in heaven.

Beautiful case! I love it! This case was recommended to me by my sister when I was on the hunt for a case for my new iPad
5/5

One of the things her three year old does a lot is watch YouTube videos on her computer. I am absolutely certain that if it can hold up to a preschooler, then it is As well as not folding like most other cases, I like that this one doesn't. These leather cases have a weird feel to them and I am afraid that I will drop them every time I hold However, I like the otterbox case because it is sturdy and maybe a bit bulky for some people, but I don't mind. Also, I like the fact that you can sit your iPad either in a landscape or portrait position because it comes with a stand. Furthermore, the stand serves as a cover for all the parts so you can take them all together. If it's closed like that, it almost looks like a small notebook. I had some trouble taking the case apart to put the iPad inside, but I saw on a youtube video that using a credit card could pry it open. If you have problems getting your iPad into the case, I recommend taking a look at some videos on YouTube. In conclusion, I am quite taken with Despite its durability, I feel confident that it can protect my iPad if I drop it. I also love the stand - it makes using it so much easier! You should also keep in mind that it is bulkier and maybe a little heavier than other cases, but since it protects my iPad, I feel the extra bulk is worth it!.

Product is excellent, but you need to be sure about the model
5/5

The Otterbox products I have been using have always been of high quality. It is not easy to find the appropriate model of the iPad simply because Apple has labelled it "iPad" on the latest version. The wrong one was bought first, and the correct one had to be sourced three months later. Identifying the right model should be easier now, although identifying the one you want can still be challenging.

The case is fantastic for the iPad
4/5

I really like the iPad case, it fits perfectly together, and it's heavier and bulkier than I anticipated, but I don't mind that at all. There is a perfect fit between all the pieces. Despite the age of the phone, the volume and power buttons function fine. There is a bit of a challenge to get it out of the top cover/stand once it's snapped in, but it's nothing major. As a parent, I want my phone to be protected against drops, so I wanted a case with rubber corners. There were only two cases that I could find this and the Dux case. The built-in screen is really scratch resistant anyway so I don't think I need a screen protector - they reduce the clarity of the display and decrease touch sensitivity. My car keys are not going to fall out of a pocket when I put this in. I was a bit hesitant about the Otterbox Defender, but it was 15 bucks cheaper than the Dux at the time, so I decided to give it a try. My solution ended up being to remove the built in screen protector and home button cover, which was not too difficult, however, it was hard to remove the glue residue from the surface of the screen. It ended up being a case of "Oops!" I used a product called "Multi Purpose Remover" and it worked. No loose parts or screws have been found. Everything still snaps together nicely. I am finding the stand more useful than I thought it would be, especially the low angle mode that tipped the screen away from the overhead lights, so that they wouldn't reflect into my I'm generally satisfied with the transaction.

Even though the assembly isn't perfect, it does the job
3/5

I googled it a lot to find out how I could get our old iPad out of its otterbox, so that I knew what I was doing. As soon as it was opened, there were visible defects in the clear part of the screen protector. The defect began at the home button and stretched several inches into the Only certain angles allow for the defect to be seen, and when it is, it appears like a deep rainbow fan. The screen is covered in cracks of different colors. The screen protector does not appear to have any cracks on either side though, which leads me to believe it was just some sort of bizarre manufacturing defect. When the otterbox was ordered, I did not have time to deal with returns and getting a replacement sent out because I needed it right away (taking the iPad on a trip). There is no sign of the defect when looking at it from the top Seeing the iPad at the same time is only an issue if multiple people are using it at the same time. Despite the “frustration free packaging” my wife was quite disgusted by it because it came in just a clear plastic bag inside an amazon box, which made it seem almost like it was a used/returned item, particularly.

With kids you just can't go wrong with this! When it comes to tough as nails cases, OtterBox does not disappoint
5/5

Two of these were given to our group of The iPad is popular among 5 year olds. These cases have been doing an outstanding job even though they are rough and drop them frequently. This screen protector goes on very securely and I like the fact that it is built in. It is nice to have the snap-on, tough cover for travel, and I also like that you can use it as a stand. The cases I recommend are definitely worth considering.
