I bought it to scan slides with a flat-on-the-table backlight source. This phone stand can hold the phone at a 270-degree angle, allowing it to be horizontal and parallel to the light table. However. Even as a regular phone stand, it is a little light duty and tips easily with my pro max on board. I'll continue to use it for scanning slides with my modifications, but it would be nice to have a bit beefier stand for larger phones.
Simple to work with. I'd never be able to keep my phone steady enough to take a photo of a photo. This proved to be extremely beneficial.
Although the product is well-made and fulfills its purpose, I believe the price is higher than it should be. $20?.
It was a little difficult to get into a holding position because of the weight of the stand; It is, however, extremely useful and will not break or tip over. I liked it so much that I bought a few to give as gifts. When you need to be hands-free or telework, this is a great tool to have. It's also big enough to fit a few books in.
With my iPhone 12 in it, I needed to add some weight to the base to keep it from tipping over, so I'm sure I can use it. I've used it to hold my phone horizontally on occasion, and it's worked fine.
I love this product because I've been copying old photo albums and my hands aren't always as steady as they should be. This will suffice. It's also worth noting that using Facetime is very convenient.
I began scanning slides and became frustrated as I struggled to keep the camera still while scanning the slides. Then, in their app, I noticed an advertisement for a phone holder. This one appealed to me because it would allow me to keep my phone in my hand while making online calls. So far, I've scanned hundreds of slides with it, and it's exactly what I needed. Other stands with more options are available, but I liked how simple and straightforward this one was. It's exactly what I was looking for.
When we go camping, I like to use mine, especially when I'm relaxing on my anti-gravity mattress. Chair with a low gravity. This is a product that I wholeheartedly endorse.
