LINKYO Compatible Toner Cartridge Replacement for Canon 128 (Black, 2-Pack)

This second cartridge is badly damaged, as it had terrible smudges along one side. It is likely that the condition of the cartridge itself is poor--in other words, it has come from a poor printer. Neither the toner nor the cartridge is affected. just begin to use this bad cartridge a week or two ago, so I haven't had a chance to return it although I just began using it just recently. The toner cartridge still has a lot of life left- Sadly, the printing quality was so poor that it was completely useless. In trying to clean up mess and figure out what was wrong, I used up a lot of paper before noticing that a faulty cartridge was leaking toner on one side. Upon replacing the cartridge with another brand, the printer worked just fine.

If someone from the company contacts me, I will be willing to return and trade it in and will remove this poor review if they contact me in the future.

The short version As far as print quality and output go, Linkyo toner cartridges offer good value for the price. Students, medical professionals in private practice, and anyone else who needs a lot of papers printed will find this a good choice. It is recommended. A pair of these toner cartridges I purchased in June of 2016 is what I am using right now. Our therapist in private practice generates mountains of paperwork, which he prints on our multifunction laser printer (Canon MF4800) at home. It would be nice to keep track of how many pages we are getting from a given cartridge, but I can tell you that it is In terms of print quality, it is comparable to that of a name-brand product The following brands of cartridges are available The text should be clear and readable The contrast between inky black and various shades of grey is excellent. While I was being surprised by the lack of streaks on pages printed with the first cartridge, the overall contrast of printed pages declined evenly over the course of its life. I've also printed out a number of black and white photos and I'm quite pleased with them. During installation, everything was straightforward, and the typical "pull out these tabs, drop in the cartridge" routine was followed. The cartridge fit into the printer well, and it was very easy to install. The convenience and economy that these cartridges offer further enhances the effectiveness of our laser printer. We will order them again.

There were 2 included in this package for 4x less than we could have bought 1 from Canon! I received my package in a single Worked great for me. Folks, it's ink time. To date, I have not had issues with this, and I just printed a bunch of materials As a customer, I am pleased with my purchase and will certainly make more purchases from this company in the future. If you read the reviews and see that this is compatible with your printer, there is no reason for you not to buy it.

In the first case, it worked well, while in the second case, not so much. Getting the toner package arrived very quickly and it prints in OEM quality. One complaint I have is that the printer displays the "Check toner cartridge" error message and flashes the error light every few seconds. It was not caused by cartridges purchased from another vendor in the past. The printer will still function normally, but I don't know if this will affect it in any way. The quality of the print so far has been consistently good after a hundred pages. My inquiry into the other cartridge wasn't successful because I didn't open it to see if the error light was also triggered. A recent update 26th of August The error light went out as soon as I removed the orange protective clip around the two electrical contacts. It is not mentioned in the installation instructions to remove the clip, which I have in front of me now. A recent update November 21, 2015 With the first cartridge, I got 1300 good pages. The printer reported a low toner supply before starting to report it. Using it for another 200 pages with no noticeable changes in the quality of the pages made it good for 1500 pages, so I kept using it. A recent update December 26, 2015 It leaves a series of smudges on every printed page when used with the second cartridge. On the roller of the green roller is a thin streak of toner that I found when I examined the cartridge. Although it is easy to clean off, the flakes reappear on the roller at the same point.

Good for the price. Although these toner cartridges get the job done, they are not exceptional. As a result, I get approximately 500 pages fewer per Linkyo cartridge than I did with the brand I spoke of earlier. Despite that, these Linkyos are slightly cheaper than my previous ones. As the printer tells you that its out of toner, the old "take out the cartridge and roll it around" trick does lead to some additional pages, but after doing so, the pages are still smudged. I would say this is a decent value for the price, but the cartridges are not impressive.

Before the machine beeped and flashed low toner after about 1,000 pages, the first batch printed about 1000 pages. I was able to print normal letterhead and office documents from both cartridges. Taking a risk and buying 2 2 packs of the second batch, I bought a third batch. Both of those started having the same problem. About 2400 pages came from a Canon 128 in the local retail store. A Linkyo cartridge went in after about 1100 sheets, and then the beep beep beep began. Since I know the cartridge lasts about 1500 sheets, I just replaced it a few times. After printing approximately 2500 sheets, I had to reset the cartridge every 40-45 pages as I was pulling it out and replacing it. The sheets are 50 in number. In addition to the Canon 128 I got about 2300 sheets from the Canon 128. As of now, I will continue to use Canon's branded units.

Since the software is not heavily used, the first pack lasted for almost a year Five years later) and started showing uneven densities when printing pages with large shading. The second cartridge was completely sealed inside a sealed bag, so I removed both seals (one orange plastic seal and one dark paper seal) before opening it. It is disappointing, then, to see the "new"? In the second pack, the prints are worse than those in the almost-used packet I'm going to pack up the Having already ordered new cartridges from this brand, I decided to take advantage of the recent Amazon discount and order more since there was so much great feedback and I had been successful with the first one. I am fortunate to report that the first pack I received from my second order works very well now, even with pages with large shades. Because the newly order cartridge has two orange plastic seals instead of one, I suspect it is a used or recycled one. I noticed that the second pack came in my first order as a used one or a recycled one. Alternatively, it may be that the cartridge has just expired even if it hasn't been used. In any case, I would order just one pack if I ordered the brand again.
