These are not the same things. Print your photos using Adobe Photoshop if you prefer. Using highlighter in the office smudges the ink on this printer since it's not a photo printer.

We should be able to purchase ink at a lower cost. As for the cartridges, they don't seem to last very long in comparison to the expected number. The estimates for 5% coverage are known to me. In spite of this, the printer is capable of going through a full set of cartridges in just a few short I purchased my first set of full capacity cartridges and found that my nozzles were clogged immediately afterward. By clearing the nozzles, within an hour, the color carts went from about 10% to about 5%. The new set of keys came from Brother, so they deserve credit. Since then, I have been going through the carts much faster than I expected, even when prints cover more than five percent Despite what you might think, I believe that there is a problem with the way the house is cleaned. A schedule of some kind makes sure that the printer's heads are cleaned automatically on some kind of schedule, presumably to prevent the heads from clogging. Cleanings likely cause a great deal of ink to be lost. The colors visually also seem rather dull, especially when compared to my old HP inkjet that is 10+ years old. As a longtime fan of Brother, I have owned and recommended a great many of their printers, and this printer and the associated ink is clearly the least impressive of the bunch.
The pros are Please note
Fits, it works, but it has the following cons Please note
It only takes about 100 pages for a cartridge (Any cartridge) to run out of ink. I am printing mostly black text with very little color. These cartridges do not come close to the 3,000 pages stated on the packaging. Please note
The package came with a new bar code sticker, I'm not sure if it's the seller or manufacturer who did this, but it conveniently covered the entire "USE BY" date. The date info is completely hidden, so it can't be seen. I believe it is more of a scam than an honest error. Please note
There are many products made in China, maybe it's time to try other brands A variety of OEM inks are available. Even though they print fewer pages than comparable printers, these are very expensive.
Because I always know I'll run out of ink before I install it, I don't know if this one just went into my printer immediately. I recently needed to replace a cartridge, but the printer was unable to recognize the new In my role as an experienced printer user, I tried shaking the printer several times according to the instructions, and I restarted it twice as well. There was no indication that the cartridge had been inserted. Replacing the old cartridge with the new one which was recognized instantly but could not be used because the ink had dried out. This was very inconvenient as I had to place an urgent order to a local supplier so I could pick up next day at the store. However, I wanted to let others know there may be a chance that a cartridge could be defective. Currently, we cannot return it, since it has been so long since we received it.
It is a fact that highlighters destroy prints In a multifunction "business class" environment, UNACCEPTAB. A fair yield is available, but the ink dries slowly and it does not resist water or smudges There is quite a bit of alignment resulting in striping in this case. Line artifacts occur when the alignment is off. When you use any highlighter, the results are smeared so badly that it is impossible to read. A business class printer and archiver does NOT accept these files for.
I then replaced the black ink cartridge and it showed a complete fill. My printer cartridge was only 1/3 full, so I wrote to Amazon again, and they sent me a new one. In that case, the reviews complaining about the low output may explain the low ratings. The ink spilled on my table after I removed the second cartridge after I had installed it. A nozzle fault is likely to have caused that. The two will be returned either way and I will not be repurchasing from this brand. * * *Updates Ink cartridges of the same model are available at an office supply store, and the cartridge I just purchased is already Online, you will find that whatever is being sold isn't.
My printer informed me that the ink was running low, so I bought ALL of the colors I needed. When I tried to replace one of the cartridges because it was low, it didn't fit in the machine. It was confirmed that the ink is not compatible with the Brother printer by reaching out to Brother Tech Support. I still have plenty of time to return it, but since I am a few days away from the deadline, I cannot return it.
A little more than a week has passed since installing the cartridge, and I haven't printed much. In any case, I have trouble reading my print because there are streaks and sometimes the type is not even legible. My printer keeps getting worse even after I have cleaned the heads and performed print maintenance repeatedly. To just test and get the black cartridge to work, I have already used 20% of black and colored ink. I would not have made this purchase if the Brother cartridge was genuine, not the rip-off Once my current printer is off, I will change to a new one. There is no way to get over my disappointment.
The paint lasts for a very long time. The price is reasonable. There is no other cartridge that will work with my Brother INKvestment All-in-One printer There is only one printer. As compared to the many HP and Epson printers I have owned in the past, these get ridiculously high numbers of pages per cartridge. I've had this for seven months and have still not replaced the black ink cartridge. It would have been exhausting to go through seven "high yield" cartridges in that time.
