Questions & Answers

Does the horizontal mount/arm have any limits as to the distance it can go from the pole? Does it have a way to butt it up against it a bit more closely than the 15" ?

pole is centered in the center of the arm, so it is 12 inches wide with the arm folded half way The distance between our two spaces is 15 inches. In my case, I have the monitor facing the pole so that one edge of the monitor is touching it.

The screen I want to mount weighs more than the weight capacity of the stand. Is that possible?

The larger monitor can be mounted as long as it is so heavy that it fits the VESA mounting holes 75 x 75 mm and 100 x 100 mm.

When using the standing mode, how easy is it to switch from sitting to standing? Is it necessary to change modes every time it is loosening or tightening? If so, what tools are needed to do so?

It is essential that you loosen and relax You must tighten each time you return to a sitting position from a standing one. Included are all the tools.

Would a 60" pole be a good idea? Would it be possible to have this product mounted on a floor?

Poles up to 48" in length are available. You can refer to Amazon by searching

It was exactly what I needed
5/5

I finally figured out how to mount an overhead monitor directly above the one on my desk after I'd wanted to do it for a long time. The only problem was that I kept researching arm and wall mounts and all sorts of contraptions that could get the job done, but either they were too expensive or they wouldn't work with There's no way to overstate how much I appreciate this gadget. I found exactly what I was looking for. This device is mounted to the deck with a clamp that has a VERY secure grip. I was most concerned about how any arm would mount here since I have a thin bar below the wood table top of my desk that I thought was going to completely ruin anything attached The pillow hugs it as if it is a bear, and I am never concerned that it will lose its grip. My desk can be right against the wall without having to worry about it touching or otherwise interfering with anything at all because the apparatus is very low profile. In addition to having plenty of angles for adjustments, it also has cable routing clips which make the setup flexible and clean.

This is a great desk mount for a stand-up desk because it gives you a good view

As a desk, I have used an Ikea table that I have set up for standing, and I have a 27" LG Monitor for the computer monitor.

This is one of the top elevated mounts for desktops and tables
5/5

The monitors I have on my desk are connected to two PCs. Multiple windows need to be open at the same time when I utilize my GIS workstation. Since I moved my 27" ASUS PB278Q monitors to an elevated spot to accommodate a 32" monitor, I had to move one of my 27" ASUS PB278Q monitors. The monitor had to be supported on a pole because there wasn't any wall space in the immediate vicinity there were no walls to use An 18" mount above the tabletop is the typical style. Almost as soon as I opened the box, I was impressed by the ruggedness of the rig. I do not find it to be flimsy. Everything has been designed in such a way that nothing can go wrong. Each part is separately bagged and labeled, and the whole kit includes all the necessary tools. I assembled the monitor in about fifteen minutes, and it was running within a few There's an outrigger attached to that 27" monitor, it's hanging from the pole's side, it is completely out of vertical alignment. As I saw no need to drill a big hole into my desktop, I chose to use the clamp option for mounting. If you want the pole to stand vertically, just make sure to tighten the mounting clamp dozens of times. You can spread out the load by adding a piece of wood if your desktop thickness is marginal. The process is very A product like this is very rare to come across The product is well built and well worth the cost China is the source of these products. This is a pity it wasn't made in the United States. It has only one negative aspect. There is a possibility that we will awaken someday.

This is a very tall and sturdy tree
5/5

I think you are right about being extra tall! These mounts are rarely this tall or simple. There are even fewer mounts that contain this much metal. It was very easy to assemble and to install.
I have never seen one that is this inexpensive. It is necessary to attach the VESA bracket to the arm if you are using one. Due to the fact that I did not use the bracket, it was easy for me to just not install it. To ensure the desk top is thick enough before installation, make sure it is thick The clamp that I used is only 3/4" thick, so I needed to add another piece of wood between it and the bottom of the desk to make it thick enough to hold the weight. There is no question about the durability of the piece of wood there. I consider my desktop itself to be the weakest part of the whole assembly!.

The product is sturdy and well made Easy to make and easy to use- The use of
5/5

A modular mounting system like WALI is a great invention that I am very pleased with. The M001XL and VES01 monitor mounts for my computer monitors and KRK Rokit 5 nearfield monitors are mounted on my custom desk with two M001XLs and two VES01s. My satisfaction with the mounting poles and arms was enhanced by their sturdy construction. Even my wife commented to me after opening the package and feeling the heft of the metal, "I better get these installed before the boys get their hands on them - one of those things would be a lot of trouble for them!" I found the installation to be Since my desk's counter has a backsplash, I chose to use the grommit base. However, I could have used the cane base if I wanted to In addition to being hefty and sturdy, the clamp also makes a strong and sturdy addition to Mounting my nearfield monitors is simple I built a few custom wooden shelves and used the VESA plates and components that came with the VES01s. Combining these two elements is the perfect solution for my small studio. It has been a very good experience.

It's a brilliant solution for overhead video capture on a desktop
5/5

As did several other reviewers, I was brought here by YouTuber Caleb. A series of returns of flimsy desktop overhead rigs that bounced too much after weeks of trial and error. The following video is one I bought and modified to be similar to Caleb's. His entire build was not done by me. My only need is a good and solid mounted overhead camera for my desktop. Despite its $30 price tag, this item is a good purchase. This is a solid product. Generally, I use my iPhone, but I could easily fit a small DSLR on it as well. The horizontal arm end assembly was removed by my BF (it was hard because the holes were quite small). Once I had the 1/4 tripod screw inserted into the ballhead, I attached an adapter. So there we have it. Mounted on the overhead of the desktop. During the drill, Caleb stretches - There is a hole for a 3/8 tripod screw to fit in. Unfortunately, we did not have the fancy drill bit, so we just used a 1/4 screw and adapter instead. The lighting I used was low-intensity This Artcise $30 ballhead features a profile design. There is the downside of it not being easily adjustable in height. In order to move the horizontal arm of the pole up and down, an allen wrench is needed. It is still important to consider why it was designed this way It was decided that we would have a semi-official meeting A mount that can be used in instructional videos for overhead shots. Since I don't adjust it often, I don't often adjust it. You're a genius, Caleb! What a great idea for a DSLR Video Shooter! There is a new niche in this area. The people who are searching for professional desk mounts instead of flimsy consumer junk. My life has been wasted after wasting hours of my time. As it turned out, there was a solution It turned out to be $30 and 30 minutes of set-up It's interesting how things work out.
