You may have to use a special reader for this card, or do you have the option of using a normal memory card reader? I am grateful for your assistance! ?

It is necessary to use a reader that specifically accepts the XQD card. It is larger than the standard SD card and needs a reader. Alternatively, you can simply use the cable that comes with the camera to connect to your computer.

What is the compatibility of this memory with a Nikon D500?

Sure, just remember to buy an adapter for the computer as well

The Nikon Z 6ii is compatible with this?

There is no need to format the XQD card since it works with Nikon mirrorless cameras. Data write speeds on XQD cards are faster than SD cards, especially when compared to SD cards.

Can I use this on a camera that takes SD cards, such as the A7rii?

This card has a much larger physical size than a SD card, so it will only fit into devices with the corresponding In terms of size and pinout, the XQD is the same size as a CF Express While XQD is faster, it is not as reliable. I used the card for less than a week before it failed
3/5

bought a used version of this card from Amazon Warehouse and have been using it with no problems for the last couple of years. The reason for the review has nothing to do with this. I then went on to purchase a new one in Feb 2020 and I have been using it ever since. I contacted Amazon for support after it failed within one week and they encouraged me to send it into Sony for warranty work or a Amazon may benefit from this, it takes some of the work off the shoulders of Amazon to take care of it. On the other hand, it was not the best decision for me since I sent it in about 4 months ago and have not received a reply from Sony. Having to deal with the pandemic likely affecting the shape of their business is frustrating, but at this point, I have 124 left. I expect them to keep my money and ghost me after they charge me 99 in the meantime. I believe the lesson is that if your card is defective, send it back to Amazon for a replacement and they will handle Sony is not a reliable brand. You may even want to consider purchasing a different kind of credit card.

This is trash

For my Nikon Z6, I got this card. In all normal fashion, I formatted the card. In the same manner that I have uploaded files to my computer after taking photos, I did it again. When I opened them in Lightroom I was able to see only a few The other elements of the plan were Other than this card, I have no problems with XQD. This particular card, however, is, quite frankly, a hot mess.

There is intermittent failure of the card
5/5

Since purchasing the card, I've used it three times with no response. I don't know why it won't show all the photos that I've About a third of what was taken is loaded, then it skips the middle sets and loads the last few, then it gives me an error saying that the card cannot be read. It still doesn't work after I tried formatting. photo transfer for both my card readers does not work. I have two different card readers and it does it for It has even happened that I have opened the same photo in different photo programs and have.

It is a great, but expensive product, like other XQD cards
5/5

Great quality memory cards, but I don't understand how they are so expensive. These are fast and they are new technology, but memory is so inexpensive these days it makes no sense to pay too much for them. Sadly, I am forced to use this as the only tool available on You can buy them from online retailers for a much better price compared to other low-grade brands, so if you need a XQD, get the Sony ones instead of looking elsewhere.

That's right, it's quite pricey. The memory card is solid and fast, but I find its price to be unjustifiably high, since SD cards have always seemed robust enough to me. it would be worth it if I was the only photographer on the first manned mission to Mars or if I were shooting through a live volcano, but what about The word pa- It is leased.

It is both fast and reliable
5/5

This SD card has such fast speeds! I can take pictures so much faster than what I am currently using in Furthermore, it is possible to buffer endlessly, which is very helpful If you're going to write to SD rather than these cards, bite the bullet and get one of these cards.

I was done in a flash
5/5

This is what I use on the Nikon D500 and it is lightning fast! It is possible for me to shoot 200 uncompressed 14-mm rounds Files of bit RAW are processed at a constant speed of ten frames per second without stuttering. This solid state drive is almost as fast as most modern SATA 3 solid state drives when it comes to transferring files over USB 3.
