Questions & Answers

What is the difference between A1 and A2?

has a read speed of up to 100mb/s and A2 can reach 160mb/s; both have a 90mb/s write speed. Besides being optimized for cell phones, A2 is also accessible through tablets.

What is the class level?

The answer is yes. This is a far more powerful platform at U3 than Class 10; it is at least three times more powerful. There is a maximum speed of 10 MB per second for class 10. The old class system is extended by a new "U" series class for video. The U1 rate is the same as the Class 10 rate. 30 MB per second is the speed of U3. In this case, the Extreme is U3.

Do you know if this product is genuine? What if I order the drive and try to register it on Sandisk's website for use with recoverypro?

Amazon is NOT a good place to buy this! We have a computer each day of the week for each of our 20 to 30 IT managers. In order to format the POS, he went to his computer. On the 128 GB memory stick there was only 30 MB of storage space! No, he did not make an error, didn't know what he was doing, or make a mistake. An organization for the benefit of the poor hires him to design and build computers. The opinions of "not fake", here is what the facts say: There is no such thing. There's a counterfeit on there. Since Amazon has sold this counterfeit, knockoff product over 3 years, despite complaints, it continues to do so.

Is this capable of 60 frames per second in 4K?

As for 4K at 60fps, it works great with my GoPro Hero 6 camera - I use it every day with no problems. It also works great with two cameras. This video is in 7K and 120 frames per second.

It took me about 21 minutes to complete
3/5

A little old computer on my computer held 5 GB of data until it unmounted itself. Afterwards, I physically removed the card from the computer and installed it again. The drive was recommended for repair by Windows, so I did it. Afterwards, I tried copying the data again, and it unmounted itself again. The same thing happened when I repaired the drive, except now Windows tells me that it cannot be repaired. Really??

So much for getting a good black Friday deal.

It isn't a counterfeit product

Anybody claiming that the green backed microSDXC cards are fake needs to do a deeper investigation. It is almost always shown in Sandisk's marketing materials that the microsd has an XC format instead of HC. Reviewers of reputable websites all state the same thing.

Secondly, in terms of the storage, anyone complaining about it doesn't understand how marketing of high capacity media is done. Based on a 1000 kilobyte per megabyte scale, instead of the 1024 kilobyte per megabyte scale. The 128GB model would appear as 119GB on your device as 1024KB per 1MB is how your device determines the size. SanDisk has done it this way for decades. This is a list of most capacities and their respective "actual" sizes. 32GB is 29 GB. Eighty-two gigabytes times 64 gigabytes equals fifty nine. A 6046GB disk is divided by 128GB to equal 119GB. This is equal to 238 GB when you multiply 2093GB by 256GB. The total is 372, which is 4186GB times 400GB. A 529GB disk plus a 1TB hard drive equals 931GB. A hard drive that you buy does not have the full capacity either; you also don't get it for the same reasons.

A legit card with a legit speed
5/5

I reviewed the SanDisk Extreme 128GB microSD UHS-I Card with Adapter - 160MB/s with SanDisk MobileMate USB 3. This review is specific to the item. The microSD Card Reader is compatible with USB 2. 0. Amazon shipped my card and sold it. Please visit our website. Despite its physical appearance, the top review implies the product I received is fake, based on how it appears on the website. Based on the speed tests and H2testw program, it appears to be able to achieve the advertised speeds and has the correct capacity when using the USB 3. 0 bundled with it. It is possible to install a USB 3. 0 card reader on a USB 2. 0 port. I still have no problem with the card. I am satisfied with it, I don't have any complaints.

Despite being advertised as fast, advertised speeds are not true
3/5

The SanDisk SDXC-160M allegedly offers the fastest read speed of all UHS-I cards on the market (160MB)! This claim has not been confirmed by multiple tests on the 128GB. At best, this card can deliver only 88 mb read speed and 84 mb write speed on my Surface pro (2017), Surface GO -- and that was on the Surface GO! It is an Evo Select 128GB. It can read and write faster thanks to its 256GB capacity.

My SanDisk 64GB (3) A2 laptop has been corrupt for a week after light use
3/5

In spite of possessing a number of mini memory cards from last year, none of them were fast enough for the new Dji Mavic Pro 2 or Zoom. It even popped up a warning on the GO 4 app to say "SLOW" next to the information for the SD card. It is no longer necessary to keep the SLOW warning after installing the Sandisk Extreme U3 A2. As of October 21st, 2018, I was able to use the microsd in my new Moto Z2 Force Smartphone right after the review, because the weather won't be suitable to fly the drone for the The Moto worked perfectly for over a week until it stopped working, saying it was corrupt. Many of my photos and videos were lost and I had to contact support several times and go through several hoops to get them back. This was a bad experience and I am not very satisfied with the card. My next purchase will be from a different brand in the hope that things go better.

The speed of things is lied about
3/5

The same as many of the other reviewers, this is a fraudulent card. I've got "U3" and "A2" on my head! Its read/write speeds are nowhere near the advertised values. I get 74/66 MB/s on this microSD, which is worse than my Samsung 128GB U1. At a rate of 6/2 MB/s, non-sequential writes are slow. Despite its low price, this card isn't a good deal for $30. Do not fall for the ruse!.

This Mini Storage Behemoth is impressive in every way
5/5

My Galaxy S9+ now has more storage space than my two best laptops, after replacing the 64GB memory.
I bought a 64GB memory of the same brand, just not extreme. This is as good as it gets for portable storage in my opinion. . .

I'm sure I will buy more.
**This is by far the best. . . The memory in this unit is higher than in my ThinkPad W530 workstation. I am in awe. It is hard to beat SanDisk in terms of quality, they have been around since the beginning of SD cards.

This little tiny thing is so tiny that I could stuff it up my rear end, once I had filled it with days worth of videos. . . This is a lot of room, but I'm not sure I'll ever use it. . . In addition to recording a lot, I also enjoy creating music. I could tell this brought the power of a computer to my lowly cell phone.

A fast enough drive to be used as a secondary drive on the Surface Pro 6, but not as fast as anticipated
3/5

My opinion is that getting the smallest Surface Pro 6 and storing data on a microSD card as a complement to the built-in storage is an attractive option when paired with the Surface's expensive SSD disk space. Although it doesn't reach the advertised speed (which is "up to") this card performs well when inserted in the microSD card reader of the Surface Pro 6 (about 80 MB/s sequential read, 80 MB/s sequential My understanding is that the UHS-1 standard restricts data transfers to 104 MB/s anyway, so I am not certain if it is possible to find microSD cards that perform more quickly.
On the whole, a good choice for the Surface Pro 6, even if it may not be the best.
