R. M This is a 4GB memory flash card. I ordered one for my Roland Fantom XR to backup my data. However, I lost my note to the seller, Paradise Memory Co. , which informs them that the CF card is not compatible with the FXR. The note from Dell explained I needed a PCMCIA adapter in a very timely and courteous manner. As well as the Transcend adapter, I purchased it here on Amazon for around $10. Once the CF card was in the adapter, I tried to do a backup, but got an error message indicating that the card space My second quick note to Paradise was followed by a suggestion to format the card and the offer to explain how to do it. (I had thought that it might need to be formatted, but had no idea how to do that and had not yet found the Roland manual that contained formatting instructions. I formatted the 512MB file to a PC on another machine without success, but I still had trouble using it via the TD-DX. My card is a 512MB one and it works flawlessly.
It has helped me record songs and transfer them to my other Roland Fantom X8. I order this product to transfer songs from one Roland Fantom X8 to another. It arrived on the same day I was promised, only to find out I needed a PC Card adapter however, once I acquired the adapter, the PC Card worked perfectly.
