Questions & Answers

Is the mat still not staying flat causing a lot of problems?

In the last three years, I've gone through two of these, which stay flat for a while before falling apart. I've tried every video tutorial and even used adhesive on the desk to get it back to normal, but it's still a little off. Unfortunately, I'd have to buy another to maintain my look.

What are the pad's dimensions?

The standard pad measures 10 inches in height and is 13 inches in width. The standard width is 98 inches, and the extended width is 11 inches. 36 inches tall, 57 inches tall, 37 inches tall, 37 inches tall, 37 inches tall, The width is 22 inches.

What is the best method for cleaning it?

To clean my mouse pad, I used a slightly damp washcloth. It's never given me any problems and cleans up nicely.

What makes this mouse pad different from the one that costs $80?

There is no distinction to be found. The $80 is because this item is currently out of stock; you would pay more to get it sooner.

This mousepad is outstanding
4/5

However, make sure to read the entire review. Trust me. Despite the fact that I purchased it by mistake, I decided to give it a shot. Here's what you should know about it before you buy it, as well as some of its benefits and drawbacks. Advantages: br>br> br>From the start, If you take a look at the mat itself, you'll notice that it's of good quality and ideal for use with any type of mouse, particularly an optical mouse. It has a nice, thick, luxurious feel to it, and the added Chroma effect that is neatly stitched on the outside of the mousepad adds a little extra flair. It has (what I consider to be) the ideal weight to allow you to move it when you need to, but not so light that it moves around when you're using your mouse. Even the mouse pad has a cable management feature in the top left corner, where the USB cord begins. The chord was not an issue for me during my brief time with it, and it did not interfere with my mouse cord; I could see this mousepad being ideal for anyone who uses a wireless mouse because it has a lovely aesthetic. When combined with any Razer mouse, you'll have a satisfying experience. (Whether it's wireless or not, it works well. ) ) For $40 USD, you get what you pay for, and trust me, you'll understand when the lights go out in your room; however, how does it compare to the Firefly, which costs about $20 more? br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product. This mousepad gets a 5-star rating from me. If the Razer Chroma Firefly Mousepad didn't exist, I'd give it a five-star rating. There is a distinction between the two, with some claiming that the Goliathus Chroma is superior. It is, after all, $20 less expensive than the Firefly. However, Razer excels at two things: one, delivering premium products at a slightly higher price point that rarely disappoints, and two, creating items that are truly aesthetically pleasing and elicit an "Awe Factor" when seen. When compared, the Razer Goliathus Chroma is lacking in a few areas. One thing I noticed right away is that it doesn't work with synapse as well as the Firefly. (Program for customizing lighting effects to your liking) Some effects don't work well with the Goliathus, whereas the Firefly can almost perfectly copy other Razer products for a uniform look (Keyboard, Mouse, Speakers, Hue, etc. ). ) Don't get me wrong, I'd be happy with either; they're both stunning, but when the lights on the Firefly vs. the Goliathus are compared, the Firefly comes out on top. Another con I can think of that doesn't apply to me (in fact, it's more of a pro for me) is that it's a very large mousepad, which may not fit well with your setup if you have a small desk. br>br>Here's what I've come to. br>Look, both mousepads will outperform any other mousepad. Get the Goliathus if you're more of a technical person who doesn't care about having a lot of flair. However, the firefly is the best option if you want to make your setup as attractive as possible. But keep in mind that both will look fantastic, and you will not be disappointed. THIS IS IMPORTANT: br>br> Let's pretend you want the firefly but don't want to spend $60 on a mousepad. (I understand, I really do. ) )br>I got my Firefly for exactly (wait for it) $40 because it was used and refurbished. That's the same price as the Goliathus, but you're getting the better version. And, I don't know about you, but used mousepads are just that: pads. You won't have to worry about them ripping apart. br>I'd suggest getting a used Firefly or a new Goliathus. br>br>I hope this review has been of assistance.

I'm returning it in the hopes of finding one that lays completely flat
3/5

When I went to R/Battlestations, I decided to buy this item (the second photo is from that post, and the first is what I got), and I was excited to get my hands on this gaming mouse pad. The map does not lay flat and bulges to the bottom of the edge, so I received some advice from the gamer who originally posted the mat, who advised me to lay down weights overnight to flatten it out. I did that, but it still doesn't lay flat. I looked into it and found several people who said that some mats don't lay flat and that the only option is to return it and hope that the next one does. I would have given this a 5-star rating if it weren't for that issue. a 5-star rating.

It's a risky proposition
3/5

The product has a lot of positive reviews, but it also has a lot of negative reviews. I was overjoyed when I got the package and set it up on my desk. Then I realized it wasn't lying flat on the desk. It curved upwards in a plethora of places. When I tried to push it down, the curve simply moved over. I tried for about an hour to get it to flatten, but I had no luck. If you're interested in purchasing this item, be prepared to deal with some obstacles or even return it. I wish everyone had better luck than I did. Given the $59. , this shouldn't be an issue. It has a price tag of $99 on it.

Wow, the critics were correct in their assessments
3/5

I just assumed the negative reviews for this product were exaggerated or something, but when I received mine today, I was proven wrong. It appears that Razer's Quality Assurance on this mousepad was lacking, as the outside light pipe of this mousepad is either not the same length as the material of the mousepad or is sewn incorrectly. The mousepad becomes rippled and unable to lay flat due to whatever issue is causing it. Take a look at the images I've attached. When you put a keyboard and mouse on it, it gets even worse. br>br>I'm returning it for a full refund right away.

It is poorly constructed and does not lay flat
3/5

I ended up returning it because I was so dissatisfied with it. To begin with, the lights around the edge (at least on mine) are brightest on the left side where the power is plugged in, gradually becoming dimmer as you move to the right. Because the lights are so dim on the right hand side, they are barely visible. On the left, a bright teal fades into a very dark green. Not to mention the fact that the mat does not lie flat. From the led cord around the edges, it ends up with small ripples and waves. I tried putting weights on the parts for the night, but it didn't help. It's almost as if the cord is too small for the mat, causing the ripples by pulling it together.

This item does not lay flat
3/5

I was ecstatic to purchase this item because I am a huge Razer fan who wanted to spice up my gaming experience. I haven't had any of the dimming issues that some of the other buyers have. I just don't like the fact that it won't lay flat like my photo shows. It's disappointing because I've always had high hopes for Razer.
