When you are working from home, this keyboard and mouse set will allow you to respectfully use your computer when speaking/listening during your meeting or while your child is taking a nap next to you while you are working. There are two negative aspects to this 1) This set cannot be used with a unifying receiver, which means that if the USB receiver fails, the whole set will have to be replaced or a new mouse cannot be used with this keyboard without adding a second micro USB receiver to the It is assumed that future generations of the silentTouch feature will offer USB receivers that are unifying. 2) The mouse is too small to be used for long periods of time. While buying men's gloves, I am between Medium and Large in size, and I feel that my hand wraps around the entire mouse which is quite uncomfortable for prolonged use. In normal circumstances, this would not be a problem, but without the unifying receiver (see 1), I cannot add a larger mouse. ******For the price, this is a real bargain, but I hope that future silent touch models will have extensibility.

I am used to typing with a touch keyboard, but I have a hard time using a mouse. The old, loud, sticky keyboard I was using before probably contributed to it. However, I absolutely love the completely quiet keys on this keyboard. I love the key layout of the keyboard, and unless your fingers are banging on the keycaps, the sound cannot be more quiet. In addition to being completely silent, the mouse lacks a solid "click" feel, which I found difficult to adjust to at first. As I'm more familiar with the interface, I feel more comfortable with it, although at first I didn't feel like there was enough tactile feedback to tell whether I was actually clicking There is no problem with the scroll wheel Still, it's not as quiet as you think When you scroll the wheel, there is probably more noise than when you click My favorite things about this laptop are that it comes with all batteries installed (two AAAs for the keyboard, one AA for the mouse), and that the pull tabs are small. In order to prevent them from getting damaged in shipping, we take out the insulators. I often found myself typing notes during calls now that virtual meetings like Zoom and Teams are so prevalent. My typing could be heard in the background, as someone told me once. The standard keyboard had to go and a quiet one had to be acquired. I tried a few different keyboards before I settled on one There were two of the super thin scissor switch style keyboards (like Mac keyboards), but they were substantially louder than regular keyboards. As your fingers kitted over the keys, the energy was transferred to the desk, so there was a hollow pounding sound as you typed. Overall, the experience was no better or worse than before, even though the keys were quieter. I'm talking about THIS KEYBOARD. The keys are super quiet, and many of them have a normal range of motion with a bit of springiness like a typical keyboard. Therefore, it seems like a normal typing experience, and is also very quiet. Also, it was less expensive than most of the other options. There's no need for me to use the mouse, since I don't use it anyway Since I use a Logitech trackball mouse, I do not have an opinion about it. The USB unifying receiver (and the mouse) is not universal, and it must be noted. These items are the only ones it will work with. With my laptop now equipped with two USB receivers, I am able to make phone calls from any camera. The trackball mouse is in one and this keyboard is in the other. My first impression was that the USB dongle would be located inside the mouse's battery compartment, but upon closer inspection I found that it was attached to When I am in bed, I use this keyboard to browse the web and watch movies. The hub is only a few feet away, but the connection is very spotty. Lags significantly when there is no line of sight between the keyboard and the hub (which is, ironically, closer to the hub than the It was a very disappointing experience.
