I can't return the entire package for two new cables because I gave the other one to someone else who needed it, so unless theirs breaks as well, I'll be without a cable once more. EDIT: br>br> Anker contacted me shortly after I published this review and offered me a new set of replacement cables. I received the replacement cables, and they work perfectly; therefore, I believe the bad cable was a manufacturing defect, and I will return it for quality control now that I have working cables. Anker gives a fantastic response.

For a year, I've been using Anker. When it comes to battery packs, flashlights, and cables, they're my go-to company. I don't bother to look for anything else. My first type C cable from them lasted for about two years. Over time, I was able to plug it into my phone and have it charge in one of two ways: fast or slow. Both sides began charging slowly only a few months ago. I figured I'd worn it out from plugging and unplugging that cable in and out of my car on a daily basis. As a result, I decided to replace it with a cable that I thought was the same. Overall, it appears and feels the same, but even the tiniest movement causes it to fall out of my phone. I have a 6 foot one in my car that works great, but the new 3 foot ones don't seem to fit quite right. br>br>I usually use one of the air vent holders to mount my phone vertically in my phone. The cable is prone to slipping out due to bumpy roads and potholes. It's not the level of quality I'm used to from Anker. It charges quickly and reliably when plugged in and not moved. The cable has a good feel to it, but it isn't very reliable. It appears to be a flaw that slipped through Anker's quality control.

USB ports have been built in To connect to Android Auto, you'll need a C cable. Anker is known for producing high-quality products and providing excellent customer service, so I decided to make this purchase, which turned out to be a wise choice. br>br>When connecting to the phone, the cable is very sturdy and has a good grip, so I had no problems connecting to Android Auto and moving my phone around without losing connection. br>The cable's braided design and material make it very flexible, and it's the perfect length for moving your phone around while it's connected in the car without having extra cable length strewn about. br>br>However, the only drawback is that the cable's durability only lasted about a year. After a while, the prong's grip on the phone wore out, and connecting to my car became a major challenge. Thankfully, I chose Anker, which offers excellent customer service as well as a lifetime warranty on their products. As a result, a year later, I was able to email their team and ask for a replacement; There isn't any fuss, and there isn't any problem. The replacement works flawlessly, and I'm hoping that this cable will outlast the first set I purchased. But I can rest easy knowing that I'm dealing with a great company that will stand behind their warranty if I have any problems down the road.

I placed an order for two. They couldn't both fit into my Pixel 2 XL when they arrived. They were flimsy, wiggled, and easily disintegrated. A month later, one of them began to fit snugly, as if it were a proper connection, but it still loses connection with the slightest bump. I'm a big fan of Anker and own quite a few of their products, but these cords disappointed me. br>br>12/16/2019 Update: Getting down to a one-man show a 5-star rating The tighter-fitting cable suddenly stops charging and recognizing connections. I've had these cables for about two months and they're in my truck, so I only use them for Android Auto and only when I'm driving. They aren't used very often and aren't abused in any way. These have left me completely unimpressed.

Version 0 is available. In January, I ordered a pair of these to use in my car with Android Auto. With the nylon braid and all, they appear to be durable, but after two weeks, I started having issues with my phone disconnecting when I touched or moved the cable. When I informed Anker of the problem, they promptly sent me a replacement cable, but it was the USB 3. 0 version. Version 0 is shown in red. I've been using this cable since January 2020, and it's been fantastic so far! I've also found that using the USB 3 cable makes Android Auto run faster and more responsive. Customer service is excellent because they stand behind their product; however, I deducted one star because I had to go through the hassle of replacing it.

My son suggested that I use this brand in my new car to connect my phone and use all of the features on it (I have an Android). So far, it's worked well, but it doesn't appear to charge the phone much while in use (which is fine because I'm only using it to access my apps from my car). br>Because the pack comes with two, I'm keeping one as a backup in case I need it. br>I probably could have gotten away with a shorter one (I believe we got the 6'), but I figured it was better to be too long than too short, especially since it comes with a Velcro cord wrapper. br>Excellent price/quality ratio.

This was the best deal I could find for two USB-C connectors at the time. C to USB- I found some cables on Amazon and ordered them. When they arrived, I was blown away by the thoughtfulness of the product: they were packaged in a small, compact box (minimal waste, and the cardboard could be recycled), and each was wound into a circle and held in place with an extra fine Velcro tie. It's very simple to undo, but it's very secure. It's unlike anything I've ever seen before, and I'm blown away! The cable also fits snugly into the port on my phone and feels solid and secure. Advantages: br>br>
