It has made me very happy! br>br>There were no issues with installation or data transfer. It is sturdily constructed and long-lasting. I have a feeling this cord will last a long time. If you need this cord, it's a great value for the money; I highly recommend it!.
Everything was fine until the device's cable began randomly disconnecting from the computer a few months ago. I tried switching ports at first, which worked for a short time but then began disconnecting again. If switching ports doesn't work, a friend advised that I try it on a different computer or that the problem is most likely with the cable. It disconnected less frequently on my brother's laptop, so I decided to replace the cable. I couldn't find an exact match at any store, so I went to Amazon to look for one. That's when I came across the Itanda USB drive. cable. I placed my order, plugged it into my WD My Passport, and was pleasantly surprised to find that it was a perfect fit! It hasn't disconnected from my computer once in the weeks that I've been using it! If you're having the same issue I was until recently, I'd recommend the Itanda as a good replacement.
I bought this item after reading another review. The person had the same problems as I did with their WD passport external hard drive. I assumed it was a problem with the drive, but it turned out to be a problem with the cord, which I replaced, and everything is working fine now. The drive responds to commands and works properly. Thank you to Jason Pollitt for his review, which aided me in making the decision to buy this cable. br>In a few weeks, I'll update my review to see if it's still working. br>NOTE: THIS PAGE HAS BEEN UPDATED. January 9, 2021br>It's still working and there aren't any issues. An excellent purchase that is simple to repair.
It's a lot better than the one that came with my Seagate 5TB. I bought that hard drive to expand my video game console's storage capacity. It worked fine for a while, but then my console began to only detect the external drive about 30% of the time and I found myself constantly recyling the power to both There were three options available to me: Replace the console, hard drive, or cable, whichever comes first. I began with the cable because it was the cheapest option. It immediately resolved the issue. The new cable is much more durable, stronger, and shorter than the old one. That was all it took, and I'm grateful for it.
My Xbox would get all bugged up and messed up whenever I plugged in the old (damaged) cord, but thankfully, once I plugged this cord into the hard drive, it worked like a charm.
With TVs, streaming boxes, speakers, and other devices that can play music and/or video directly from a portable hard drive, I've discovered that the quality of the USB cable is one of the most important factors that determines whether it works or not, because portable hard drives have a lot of memory and no other source of power than that device's USB port. This set of cables allows you to play back some 2TB hard drives on some devices that have failed to work with other USB cables, earning you the 5-star rating. a rating of five stars However, some hard drives will not playback even with these cables, indicating that not all hard drives, regardless of their technical specifications, require some level of power for recognition. All of my portable hard drives can be played back on PCs and laptops, so their USB ports must be designed to provide more power.
I bought these to use as an external hard drive for my PS4 console. I was surprised to find these two cords for $7 after the one that came with my Seagate harddrive fell apart at the connection end and was very short, about 12 inches long. I first considered buying a replacement Seagate cord, but it was $18 and very short, so I was very surprised to find these two cords for $7. 50 and a 3ft length that is more convenient! They work flawlessly, and I've never had any problems with them breaking or bending. I also like the fact that they came in a resealable bag. When I'm not using them, I simply wrap them up and put them back in. This seller comes highly recommended.
I travel frequently, and on one trip, the cable to my hard drive was apparently left in my hotel room. I went to all of the local electronics stores and was unable to purchase the cable unless I purchased a new external hard drive; however, I discovered the perfect cable that I require on Amazon, which is far superior to the cable that came with the hard drive. It was longer, with thicker insulation, and a fantastic price.
