I'm not sure how a Sony RX10's connections look, but assuming the Best Buy employee looked at both that and the cable, I don't think they'd lie to you. Especially if they were hoping to sell you cable (which would almost certainly be more expensive on Amazon).

I'm not sure what USB 2's data transfer rate is. 0 or 3. br>br>CON: if you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, this is not the place I used this cord every day for less than four months before the plug (the end that goes into the phone) stopped making contact; I believe it should have lasted longer. However, for such a long cord, the price was reasonable. br>br>UPDATE: I received a call from this company's Customer Service department within 24 hours of posting the above review. They read my review and are sending me a replacement cord, which was apparently covered by warranty, which I was not aware of. Five stars are due to a company that stands behind its product. This is an item I would buy again without hesitation.
I've bought a few of these cables in the last few years. In retrospect, they've all failed to deliver a good return on investment far too quickly. They appear to be well-made and in good condition, but they no longer charge the phone. I can only assume that the tough outer case conceals frayed wires or faulty connections. Perhaps the plugs have worn out. Don. t know. For a while, each new Ugreen cord worked fine. br>br>I also bought a UGREEN USB 2. 0 cable with a braided casing that appears to be in good condition. br>br>UPDATE 5/20/2020 ******* UGREEN has gone above and beyond to resolve this issue. They pursued a solution long after I had lost interest, and they didn't give up until I was satisfied. I have no reservations in recommending this outstanding firm.
I have a powered USB hub and was getting errors like "last USB device not recognized" or something similar all the time. After a few hours of searching, I realized the issue was most likely the cable connecting the hub to the PC. I was correct. br>br> br>br>At first, I was hesitant to use a cable that wasn't made by the hub's manufacturer, but I've had this cable for over a month and haven't had any unknown device errors, last device not recognized, or my keyboard suddenly stop working. It only took a new cable to fix everything. I'm hoping someone reads this before installing strange software on their computer! This cable is fantastic! br>br>.
As promised, the cable arrived on time. The item arrived in perfect condition, packed in a sturdy container. To test the charging capability of the cable, I took it out of the plastic bag and inserted the cable end into the Samsung Galaxy S5. I noticed that when I tried to insert the end into the phone, it didn't go all the way in to start the charging sequence. I measured the end of the original Samsung cable that goes into the charging slot and noticed a difference in size: the newly arrived cable measures about 7. The original cable was 4mm thick and is 9mm thick. 63mm. Because the ordered part is too thick to go all the way into the charging port to make the proper connection, the measurement was taken on only the part that goes into the slot/port. In essence, the cable serves no purpose for me, and returning it is unlikely to be worthwhile. The cable is 20 feet long in total. 5 inches. The USB end appears to be in good working order. br>Recent changes: The cable was measured, and it was discovered that the thickness of the cable differed from the original.
